crashes everytime I try to use it on my phone or computer. It's so busy creating "moments" that I don't need, it doesn't have any room left to sharpen the photos or do the things I actually want it to do. Bummer, because the sharpening tool actually looked like it worked, the one time I got it to sharpen a photo before it crashed. I got the free trial and now everytime I try to cancel it before I have to pay for it, it crashes again.

I’ve deleted your app because it didn’t do what you stated. I have several old photos that had scratch marks, like burned areas.
I’ve been very cautious paying for apps now, Because several things can happen after you pay for apps.
#1.. There vary little updates for an app.
#2.. You pull Vivid which becomes useless.
#3.. When people tell you the problems they are having with Vivid nothig is done tofi the problem.

I tried contacting the team behind this app through their "customer support (contact us)" but I've been well ghosted. Looking at their website provided some (little information) context towards other means of contact. They linked three social medias: tiktok, facebook, and instagram to which not a single account exists via said links or in general search. I initially requested a refund as the actual app didn’t seem unique or authentic as a non-stereotype AI Photo editor/enhancer (maybe future developments will change my perspective). Most importantly as well, I never intended or wanted a YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION for said product - I canceled well after my free trial deciding that in my own time I would come back to this app when there were more features or something that separates it from the majority of other “paid” available apps of its similarities. Instead I feel like my money was stolen and, icing on the cake, contact us? Contact WHO?

What Vivid does to photos is 5 stars, but only 1 for Vivid overall. You lose stars for when Vivid opens, and the photos burst through several shots. Not just one single thumbnail, but all the thumbnails. You have no settings to stop that. It makes Vivid annoying and confusing, and gave me a headache. I’m canceling the subscription and deleting Vivid .

I’ve been using Vivid for about two years and I am very happy with the enhancement feature. However I have been very unhappy with the ads that play BEFORE and AFTER the procedure. When I first started using it, the ads were only five seconds and there was only one ad after the work was done. Now you have to watch a thirty second ad to select the photo and a thirty second video after using the enhancement feature. As someone who uses Vivid for hundreds of photos, this is very disappointing and frustrating. You pretty much have to wait an entire minute for one photo. It was completely fine when I first started using it but now it’s so time consuming. Quality wise, this is one of the best apps for this purpose. However, the long ads must be changed to shorter ones. I don’t mind watching a five second ad but multiple and longer ones just make me not want to use Vivid anymore. I hate that I’m even typing this out for an app that I love but I want change to happen.

I didn’t mind sitting and watching 45-60 second ad to get my pictures cleared until the update. Now I have to watch an ad, clear the pic and watch another ad, and when the pic downloads it’s not entirely clear any longer. Idk why you split the ads up like that, but it is ANNOYING to say the least. I’ve already deleted the ap on my phone and am continuously looking for a better one for the iPad. If the pic would STAY clear after watching both ads, it wouldn’t be so bad, and I MIGHT consider paying for pro. It shows super clear before the download and then downloads a slightly less clear picture. Definitely NOT worth paying for. If the pics would always stay clear, I might consider paying for the pro version, but they do not even though you waste my time watching ads through the whole process.

this app is dishonest in that it first makes your image much blurrier then repairs it. In other words if you bring in an image and fix it, then look at BEFORE vs AFTER you will notice the BEFORE image doesn’t look anything like what you started with, it’s much more pixelated and blurry, perhaps to create the illusion that it is making a big improvement. This is very misleading.

Vivid seemed to do pretty good with making images clearer, but I did notice a couple things I didn’t like. I tried Vivid out on a few old photos. One old photo was a person with a hat. Enhancer made the picture clearer, but the hat changed to wavy hair, and the person in the photo’s face changed. Another photo where I tried the animar made the person shake and look like there was some type of medical condition. I was using the trial. If it wasn’t for a couple of the flaws, I would have purchased.
by Hafrican_boii
The 3 day trial is one thing but why should Vivid have access to all of my photos, the option for an app to only have access to selected photos was made for the very reason that people don’t want all of their photos to be accessed by an app and yet it’s required to even use it and that is ridiculous and there is no good reason for it.

Why do I keep getting the same ad over and over at the end every time I’m editing a photo?? It’s an add about a new app from this company where you can change your outfit and what not.. it’s the same app everytime, it’s getting very annoying I can’t even edit a photo anymore without seeing it.. I think it might be time for me to cancel and find an alternative app to use.

I think the scan makes assumptions because the photo of my mom didn’t look like her. I had also a trio in the photo and the two most prominent figure’s images were sharpened but not the one in the middle who sat further back. It’ll brighten eyes but it almost makes them appear like they’re bulging out. I gave 3 stars because of your effort in creating Vivid .

I have realized that it makes my pictures extra blurry in Vivid and then clears it up which makes it seem like it is doing more than it actually is. Also, this tends to make the clear versions not look like the original people in the photos. It works well on some photos but this feature makes it not worth it for me

I have used app several times, purchased the year subscription. Now it will not connect, keeps giving message: The network is disconnected, check the network.
I am logged in and could write this review but Vivid will not work. I have my setting t use Wi-Fi and cellular. Still will not wrk. Hopefully they are working on getting this fixed.
by MyReviewBest
This is very good app to enhance the photos. It makes the photos much better (although won’t increase the size as some other apps do).
But it misses the key feature, it doesn’t available in the “Share Sheet”, means you can’t open a photo in Vivid directly from your Photos library. You must have to open Vivid first and go thorough your library to find that photo you want to enhance.
Hopefully the developers will bring that option sooner.
And one more thing, thank you Developers for offering Life Time Subscription! I love it 🥰

Hasn’t been working the past few days. Keeps asking to check network, but everything on Vivid works fine. I’m connected to wifi, tried deleting app and reinstalling. Rebooted my iPad. I tried Vivid on iPhone and said the same thing.
by Style Girl99
I love it, but after making the photo more this app, it would be better if we could erase the parts of the photo that we do not want to be more this app. For example, I may want to keep the background blurred and leave the subject this app.

I love Vivid for photo editing but for whatever reason I cannot use the filters option. It says check that make sure permission is enabled but I can’t seem to find any permissions regarding filters anywhere. Other than that a great app to have!
by FantasyPics
The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is because in some cases it changes the eye color and the teeth. My wife has green eyes and it changed them to brown. Also her teeth have this cute V and it made her teeth completely straight.

Just found out about Vivid.. I love how it fix blurry pictures.. I just wish it could restore the pictures that are real blurry.. It has it’s limitation but I’m so glad I bought Vivid.. You won’t be that much disappointed.. Can’t wait to see what’s installed in the future
by Ruffhowzin
Update: 4 stars. I discovered that the enhancing tool reduces the resolution from 9mp to 5mp, and there is no setting I can see to maintain it.
I tried this one and two other highly-rated popular apps to enhance faces on blurry photos or zoomed-out shots. I did a side-by-side comparison, and the other two seemed overly sharpened, and worse, produced weird artifacts—little stray marks on the faces. I just tested one photo, and didn’t want to test more because these free versions kept making you watch 30-second ads and they would sometimes not even save. So this one will the keeper. I just have to decide on which legth-of-time subscription to get.

Vivid makes your face look really clear. One thing I don’t like is it makes black people hair look like strings for some reason. Other than that Vivid is wonderful
by JustGotWickd
I have been playing around with Vivid to try and restore some old wedding photos and it has been fantastic.
I shot some of the photos quickly on a Samsung Galaxy S3 or Note 2. I don’t remember but the quality wasn’t great compared to todays smartphone quality.
I installed it and promptly fixed 2 photos in less than 5 minutes of messing around.
Instead of having to enter credit card info just to start a “free trial” I just watched a short ad before downloading the photos back to my phone.
Outstanding. Really.
More devs need to realise that this is a much better model than expecting people to fork out money on the off chance Vivid can even do what they want.
Obviously the developer has faith in their product and allows a multitude of options to try and then reuse the basic tools by just watching ads.
Which I think I will go ahead and pay for the “premium” features just to check them out and see if they are as good as the ad supported ones.
Great app. Would give 10 stars or a 100% score if I could, just to support the team and the way they have modeled their product.

(Usually I don't give a lot of 5 star reviews to anyone, but you’ve met all the rating requirements that qualify for 5 stars!) So far, the illustration has been fantastic! ✨😃 Feedback: Even if you have a pro feature, you don’t have a watermark feature. I like it!
by Derpah
I’ve tried several photo enhancer apps and most of them put you through several ads over and over until you make a purchase. Vivid quickly does what it claims in seconds without subjecting you to numerous and making it easy to trick you into purchases. Not only that, it actually gives super quality quickly.
by Horrifying Horror
I got this to unblur a picture. I’m still trying to find that editing option but I was interested in the one where it can colorize black and white images. So with my curiosity I tried it out and was super impressed with the results. Most of the time it’s really good and impressive and way better than I was expecting! I really thought they’d make me pay to see it, but it’s free! They don’t push the subscription on you which is a dream! It makes me want to get it to support them but I can’t really do that right now. I think that if you can, maybe you should out of support. Vivid is really nice. :) I’ve only had it for like 5 minutes by the way lol but I can see it coming in handy so much in the future and it’s just generally fun to use and I will definitely do that a lot.

I had a few pictures I wanted to enhance as a gift for a family member. I scrolled through Vivid Store and downloaded every single app I could find that advertised this service. Most require a pro account with outrageous monthly fees to even utilize the service, and the ones that don’t, require you to watch ads and then paste a HUGE logo on the picture. Outside of this one, the only other app I was able to find that offered the enhanced service at no additional charge or with a logo, drastically filtered the picture. Vivid provides the service for free (although you do have to watch a brief ad if you are not a pro member) AND restores the quality of the picture without altering it with filters. No logos either! And coincidentally, this was the last one I tried out of all the apps I mass downloaded. I guess they really do save the best for last. Thanks to the creators of Vivid for providing such a valuable service!

Vivid does what it says! It enhanced my blurry pictures to good quality. It’s easy to use and save the good quality pictures. I would recommend it to others who are looking for a effective photo editing tool. I still haven’t tried the pro version, would like to check it out.

I have tried other apps and this one has a special ability to clear up out of focus photos. It’s not perfect but by far the best I have used. If the photo is somewhat fuzzy it will totally clear it up. If it is really fuzzy it does ok. Sometimes it’s not too great if the photo is very fuzzy and small But hey. It’s the best app I’ve used. I tried it for free and then purchased it. Totally worth the money

I just shot a motocross event this past weekend and several photos came out blurry. Just for fun I thought I’d try this, but I’m a believer now. I used to use Remini, but I stopped because it was so limited and inconsistent. Remini can’t hold a candle to Vivid. It is mind blowing to see how clear these photos can be. I’m gonna sign up for the lifetime subscription. There’s so many photos that I can salvage now.

I really like Vividit Photo enhancer. I have a lot of black and white and color photos from the 40s through the 80s. Many of them ranging from mild grainy to heavily grainy. Blurry an or grainy pictures from mild to moderate that are transformed with Vivid come out very well. I am impressed. If the picture is too blurry or too grainy Vivid tries to re-create the pictures clarity through what I call creative enhancing. The bottom line, this is truly a wonderful app. Many photo enhancing apps that are out there only photo enhance the person and not the surrounding picture. Vivid cleans up the entire picture to a very high degree again in most mild to moderate blurry or grainy photos. I highly recommend Vivid for those who want to do restoration on a lot of old photos.

I have a very poor distorted photocopy of my grandpa, then I tried for the past decades to recover it but unsatisfied every time. Today I saw such this app face of him at this app app. The best photo enhance program I have ever seen. Really shout out for Vivid!

My blurry photo from 15 years ago looks like new. Now I can use 15-year old photo for my social media like everyone does.;)
by Spgmac
Right now it gets 4 stars. But that is because I am just learning Vivid . Excellent quality on the enhance and color. Very easy to use. I am testing 15 apps like this. So far it’s in the top 5. I’ll review more later.

This has a lot of capabilities, enhance, color, adjust lighting, blur background, erase, animate and cartoon. I use mainly the enhance feature. You have the option to enhance for quality or fidelity. There is a selector that allows you to adjust the level of enhancement. That also goes for color and light enhancement. It’s not an all or nothing, so fine tuning is possible. The update has been stable and it has become one of my go to programs. I do wish there was a masking feature to include certain areas to enhance or color, as well as adjusting the background blur function. Definitely a winner.
This is one of the faster enhancing programs on the AppStore library.

Vivid has no ads, no watermark, it’s free to use, and is very very high quality. This makes me want to buy the pro features. Keep doing what you’re doing please.
by Dogska
Vivid really does everything I like to do. Enhancements very real and the animations are quite realistic feeling so yes I’m big time glad I did the pro version!
by RaiderPinay
Although, some old blurry pictures don’t always come out clearer, it does make most out of focused photos better.
