I have a few nitpicks with the app, like wishing the clickable area was bigger like how the poketch app is. But other then that I’ve enjoyed the usage of my app for my extremely long hunt. However, I’m not a fan of the new ads. I completely understand the need to support their website and app to keep it running, and my qualms aren’t with the app having ads, its more of the style. Many are very implying and overall an eye-sore and distracting. I went to show my friends them and it took me 1 minute to get an uncomforting ad. I just wish there was an option to either turn them off with a “dlc” or if maybe they could be er… sorted a bit better through a different provider potentially? It’s honestly something that makes me want to swap apps and has been bothering me and making me regret updating.

I tried this out because the poketch app was outdated. I don’t like how it’s associated with a certain person (as a professor too…like, give me a break…) but I can overlook that. It didn’t have a way to turn off the timer which grossly put me off. I don’t time my hunts and it’s so strange that it’s an option in the previous app by the same developer. I immediately deactivated my account and uninstalled it from my phone. I did give it two stars because it was functional, just not as good as the previous iteration.

After downloading the newest update from the Apple App Store, I can’t get the login to work any longer. It won’t accept my password, no comment that it’s incorrect or anything. I tried resetting it just to make sure I wasn’t putting in the wrong thing, but the email field won’t accept any characters to be typed in it. I even tried to create a new account using a new email address, and no confirmation email was sent to my email.
