The entire point of CokeGo is to track your purchases so it can extract personal data from you (and probably sell it to third-party companies). It does this by requiring you to enter your payment information in CokeGo and then forcing you to use CokeGo for every purchase. Coke can't track people who pay with Apple pay, a card, or cash, so they force you to pay through CokeGo . That is the entire point of CokeGo.
If you want to spend 10 minutes installing an app, typing in a credit card and all your personal info, fighting the door to get it to open, and then fighting everybody else from grabbing their own drinks while it’s open and charging your card, then boy is this CokeGo for you.
Absolutely dystopian, and the only reason I used it is because this was literally the only soda machine with water in it in the entire Dallas airport.
Was at the avenues mall and my partner and I got thirsty decided to try this new vending machine concept and got a cherry coke and a Fanta, the machine proceeded to charge use for 2 cokes and a Fanta. Stupid concept with way too many flaws.
Got a charge for 2.50 and another for .99 all I did was download CokeGo and did not inform me it would charge for sign up total scam
They make you think you get a free drink if you scan the QR and download CokeGo . Then they will ask for your payment info to open the door…. deleted CokeGo
Should not need an app to get a drink from a vending machine, especially when the server can’t handle creating an account. Awful idea and awful servers
I purchased one coke for $4 (displayed on the screen). Then I check my bank and I was charged $10. Annoyed a little bit whatever. Would not recommend using these vending machines👎🏽👎🏽
No idea how this got through trial phases. Got transferred 8 different times trying to get a refund for a offer that was not applied. On the phone for over 15 minutes still no refund
Like many others, the free drink on account setup didn’t happen. Also, no prices are listed, so you have no idea how much you’ll be charged, and CokeGo has a “Purchase History” section that doesn’t display the purchase history.

Time Required = Over 5 minutes. Probably closer to 10.
Total Cost = $15 for 4 Coca Colas
Horrible experience. Stick to buying your drinks at supermarkets or traditional vending machines.
A useless app that made my experience 5x as long as it should have been to purchase a drink. I know this is just about selling information. All I want is a drink. This is a fail, please fire whoever thought this was a good idea.
So CokeGo said u can get a free drink and I bought one instead since it wouldn’t let me get it. Once I bought it it took away 10 dollars from my card, ima sue if I don’t get my money back.
I used the machine for the first time to get a coke. The machine charged my card for a Coke and a Monster. When I called to try to get a refund, I was forwarded to different departments then I was told I could only get a coupon to use the machine again. I deleted CokeGo .
It promises to give you a free drink once you download CokeGo but asks you to submit your payment info and then it will charge you if you take a drink. There is no option to get a free drink. Wasted 10 minutes setting up CokeGo and got nothing.
Not only did I not get the free drink for my first purchase, but the listed price was $4 for the item I chose. I didn’t get it free, and I didn’t even get it for the listed price of $4; I was charged $6 on my card. That is just flat out theft and deceitful. What a sham.
I downloaded CokeGo today to use a vending machine. However, I was charged $10 and I didn’t even get anything from the vending machine. I didn’t even enter my payment info, and the prices of drinks aren’t shown… I’m trying to figure out how to get the money back but can’t figure out how… I’m really upset with this company
Forced to use this because I’m stranded at the airport in the early morning hours and its the only way to get water. Waste 10 minutes for something that should only take 30 seconds (getting water from a vending machine) Only exists to farm data. I don’t even drink Coke. Shouldve expected something redundant and scummy like this from a company that makes AI advertisements. Screw you Coca Cola.
The transaction goes through but the door wont open .. it takes all your money.

Got two drinks at DFW Airport and payed with ApplePay - took only a couple of minutes to sign up and I got my points. Cool idea!
