The entire point of this app is to track your purchases so it can extract personal data from you (and probably sell it to third-party companies). It does this by requiring you to enter your payment information in the app and then forcing you to use the app for every purchase. Coke can't track people who pay with Apple pay, a card, or cash, so they force you to pay through the app. That is the entire point of this app.

If you want to spend 10 minutes installing an app, typing in a credit card and all your personal info, fighting the door to get it to open, and then fighting everybody else from grabbing their own drinks while it’s open and charging your card, then boy is this the app for you.
Absolutely dystopian, and the only reason I used it is because this was literally the only soda machine with water in it in the entire Dallas airport.

Forced to use this because I’m stranded at the airport in the early morning hours and its the only way to get water. Waste 10 minutes for something that should only take 30 seconds (getting water from a vending machine) Only exists to farm data. I don’t even drink Coke. Shouldve expected something redundant and scummy like this from a company that makes AI advertisements. Screw you Coca Cola.
