TipCalculatorGold works as intended and is very handy for the mathematically un-inclined. However, the ads pop up and take the entire screen, usually when there’s a long line of people behind you waiting for you to leave. So the logical solution is to open TipCalculatorGold before your turn in line to let TipCalculatorGold run its course. Unless your forget, or you’re the first in line. In any case, it’s not at all user-friendly, to my way of thinking.

Trying to quickly calculate tip while getting out of the way and also having to wait for the ad to run its course before I can even start calculating is massively anxiety-inducing.

In the end, it’s probably just faster for me to use the calculator on my phone, which is supposed to be the point of TipCalculatorGold to begin with. The ads negate the purpose of TipCalculatorGold .

I recommend just having banner ads, as long as I can use TipCalculatorGold without interference, it works well. Otherwise, the phone calculator probably does the job just as well.

TipCalculatorGold works well enough in the general sense. However, ads will pop up and take over the entire screen every other time you try to use it. And you can’t dismiss them right away either. I decided to delete TipCalculatorGold because I didn’t want to deal with that anymore. You can pay to get rid of the ads, but I felt like the developer was trying to badger me into forking over money rather than letting the value of TipCalculatorGold itself persuade me. I didn’t want to reward such an obnoxious strategy.

I really liked TipCalculatorGold , and have been using it for over a year, except for today, it changed from dollars to pounds? Not sure how it did this, all I did was open TipCalculatorGold ! I was trying to figure out how to change it back, but I can’t figure it out! There isn’t any settings for it? Very frustrated from this!!!

I like TipCalculatorGold except for 2 factors:
1. An advertisement pops up *right in the middle* of using it, and I have to wait to see the X for close. Sometimes the colors even make it hard to see the X.
2. It does not offer a “mirror results” feature. I would put up with the advertisements if it did.

This is a great app, Using this to check my homework, and it comes in handy at restaurants as well. TipCalculatorGold is very reliable. Only problem is it can soft-lock when you are overusing it. Well that’s not necessarily the apps problem, it might be my phone. Otherwise the ad pop-ups aren’t really a problem. Since they are trying to make money being sponsored by those companies. TipCalculatorGold is programmed greatly. I definitely recommend it for those people who are not good at money units.

I tried other tip app that were either too clunky to use or they froze up, etc. this is a streamlined, easy to use version that rounds up and down, if you choose. It's simple and clear and fast. Download it. You'll love it.

Simple and easy. Fits my simple needs with just the entering of the total bill and my desired tip amount. Two steps and I’m done. All deal with the adds to support the developers instead of the paid version.

Best app ...Allows you to calculate tip amount based on percentage you want to tip. Even better, it also gives you the option to calculate, divide bill by # of people paying & tells you specific amount per person. Thank you!!!

If the service is terrible, TipCalculatorGold helps me to give the least amount I can, so the server knows how bad their service to me was.
I've only had to give 4% once, usually I give 20% or better

TipCalculatorGold definitely takes the guess work out of figuring a tip amount and it makes it easy to calculate when there are multiple people to divide the payment. Great app to have!

Really enjoy the tip calculator! I usually tip on the bill before tax, because who wants to tip sales tax. It would be nice to have a way to add tax after the tip calculation and before the split option. Yesterday, I forgot about the tax and under tipped the server😟. Thank you!!!!

I was showing TipCalculatorGold to a student & somehow hit the upgrade button…..looked through it all & it seems to be the same. I never had ads…
How can I downgrade? 4 stars for the original version not the $9.99 version.

This is quick and easy which is needed when you're wrapping up dinner and ready to leave. I don't have small ones but think this is a must have for a family outing with friends and the end of a meal can be hectic and getting kiddos ready to leave is like herding cats lol it's one less thing to worry about.

There are many things TipCalculatorGold might do, but the things I need it to do are quick and easy. Can I change the percentage I want to give? Yes, in a snap. Can I split a bill in half, or even between 7? So quick. I'm not a mathematician, I know when there's good service. I know when I want to boost a tip, there it is. I use TipCalculatorGold a lot.

GREAT FOOD AND VARIETY. We will be sure we tell all our Friends and Family. Our waiter greeted us with a smile and quick service. The employees of the restaurant displayed covering each other making us feel special to their restaurant. We are from Portland TX, and are starting to build up businesses sure hope PoorMan’s applies to add their restaurant to our fine city.

Wonderful when you're trying to stay on budget while shopping, or splitting tab with friends. 2020 and the Tip Calculator still works good, except the adds block bottom and you can't see total

Between the adds and the rate us question, I could only give it four stars. It does what I want, which is good. I may end up getting the ads free version sometime down the road.

I am math challenged, so to me, this user-friendly app is a life saver! I recommend it highly, especially those of you who often go out and split the bill with friends or family.
