Purple Diary Reviews

I really liked PurpleDiary and was super excited to see the features of the new update, but when I logged in, I didn't see any of my journal entries and now I'm disheartened. I had such great things written out and now it's lost... I don't know how to get it back either. What happened to all of my entries?

Unfourtunally, your response is not only very late, but unhelpful. The only thing that I used on PurpleDiary was a passcode to get into my dairy. Meaning, I don't believe I made an "account" on PurpleDiary. I never sent information to whatever backup system you have for PurpleDiary because I personally don't trust anything that can be hacked and used against me. Which has happened in the past and, I'm sure you would understand this, I still get spam and hackers calling and texting my phone religiously. So forgive me for not finding your response to my problem helpful or relevent. I won't be downloading PurpleDiary again, which isn't against you or your app, and I'll have everything in a physical form for now on. You do not have to respond to this review, though I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my first review regardless. Thank you.

The Calendar will not seem to move to the next day and allow me to make an entry. When I've made an entry on a previous day.
I can click on entries and go back to calendar and it will move to the day I click on.
It's no big deal. just a side note.
I like the simplicity of it I just want to jot down my day's highlights

Looking for an alternative for Day One, on which I experienced ongoing technical issues. This is a nice alternative. The interface is spare, which I find more appealing. And it has all the tools I need for daily journaling. A good find.

Great, minimal app. Please add ability to add multiple notifications. I’d like to be reminded multiple times throughout my day to add something. And only once a day doesn’t cut it for me. Also need a system font option, San Francisco.

User friendly, streamline and free and even when I choose to purchase it is affordable.

I do love PurpleDiary and it wokrs great on my Iphone and Surface. I just downloaded it on my 2013 Macbook and all I get is a blank window.
