Tops Markets Reviews

I use it regularly and I keep it up-to-date. I’m always updating my saved shopping list for the upcoming payday so that I know what groceries I need to move to In-Store cart and I also like to use TopsMarkets to do comparisons on what deals are going on.

Couple of issues.
1) TopsMarkets is finicky about what option you choose for shopping. Multiple times have I chosen In-Store and it immediately swaps it back to Pickup or Delivery. Even if the cart is empty it sometimes just refuses to hold the shopping setting you’ve selected.
2) Cart items regularly disappear when using the shopping list function. This issue has been happening since the last update. If you set TopsMarkets to In-Store and have items in your shopping list that are indeed in store and you choose to add to cart it does add to cart while on the In-Store setting. You can go to the cart and see everything. However as soon as you modify or add an additional item to the cart the whole cart list disappears. I’ve been able to repro this over and over even with a delete and reinstall of the application. What’s even more annoying is that if you switch the shopping type to pickup when this happens then all the items reappear but you lose the aisle locations. If you try to switch back to in-store, TopsMarkets just keeps switching it back to pickup. Very disappointing version of TopsMarkets as DEV/QA should have done a much better job testing this.

Great that Tops offers great eCoupons but there is no way to find them through TopsMarkets . So if I want to know what coupons I have, I need to write them all down. I can’t add items to the shopping list from the ad—so I have to use the search engine and type in each item. From what I have found in the FAQ, you can access the coupons from the mobile website. How does that save any effort? It appears that the developers of TopsMarkets never actually go grocery shopping.

Why do I need to “clip” coupons ? I should only have to press a button and all are added to my bonus card - if I use them great if not oh well -

Receipt - you have elderly shopping at your store - Why do you need such a dumb way to calculate receipt - and such a waste of cancer causing paper. Take a lesson from other stores short receipt with only you pay price!

TopsMarkets is helpful, but I am very frustrated because it doesn’t show me item locations. It used to, but it hasn’t for a long time. I check for updates frequently but they fail to fix the problem. Every time I read TopsMarkets description it’s listed as one of the features. Please help!

You shouldn’t have to sort the cart every time you open the cart between department and I’ll it’s very frustrating having to do it every time

I used to be able to look at your weekly flyer and make my shopping list directly off of it on my phone…. Made life easy….why would you eliminate that feature from TopsMarkets ?

TopsMarkets is ok, but it’s a pain to have to open TopsMarkets , and then navigate to my bonus card to scan the card at checkout. There is an option to add it to the Apple Wallet but it does not work. I just get a message that Safari cannot download the file.

I like TopsMarkets & being able to add coupons right to my bonus card. The only problem is you can’t add you bonus card to your wallet, they give you the option to buy it just tells you safari can’t open the link.

Since being injured I can’t get around as easily. Ordering delivery is easy.
I do wish there was a “Return To Top” button so you don’t have a scroll all the way up again.

Switched from the old app to the new. It is much less convenient than the old app. Why would you do this to customers? I have choices. Musings got switch to another grocery.

It was very easy to use and I love how simple checkout was with ApplePay. Will definitely be using again, and all the coupons are easily available. So glad I found this!

I really dislike the new set-up it is cumbersome thus I am buying less. I used to enjoy creating my list by clicking an item. I would be thrilled if you went back!!

I love TopsMarkets for keeping my grocery list and getting e coupons. Thank you for adding the option to link to to the pharmacy to schedule immunizations. I used to be able to see what aisle items are in on TopsMarkets and with the latest update, that has gone away. Any chance of it coming back. I loved that feature.

Always so helpful in anything I have ever needed. The employees are so friendly and courteous and make you feel like they are so glad you are shopping at their store. They want to make you happy with your experience.

Took multiple, multiple attempts to get in when told to sign in. Very confusing. Almost made me want to avoid shopping at Tops.

I enjoy using my TOPS app to prepare for my weekly grocery shopping because it’s so easy to click on the different departments to find coupons I can use to save even more money that allows me to splurge a bit with new menu plans. Love TopsMarkets!

Makes it nice your list is on your phone.

The plus sign in the bottom right hand corner is directly in front of the arrow right sign to advance to the next page. So when you want to advance to the next page you instead pull up the key board …..ridiculous?????

Love e coupons but wish they can be used at least 2 or 3 times. I have 2 older sisters over 75 & they don’t know how to do computer apps. E coupons etc. I have limited knowledge but better than them. I try to buy things for them when good deals all 3 of us are on Medicare & limited incomes. Alden tops has wonderful helpful staff.

I like it that I can see what I want to buy and how much it will cost before I get to the store.
