UPDATE : I have adjusted my score from 3 stars DOWN to 1 for their unethical practices.

After cancelling my subscription I was still charged $50 5 days later. This was AFTER communicating with them about my dissatisfaction for their lock in product and getting confirmation they would cancel and REFUND what had been paid.

Instead of getting a refund I was re-charged.

RUN from Zeely and company. Apple should pull Zeely from Zeely Store for their fraudulent and dishonest practices.

Do NOT get Zeely and service if you are a small business just starting out.

Zeely is cleverly designed to nickel and dime you to death. After paying for an 8 week subscription (based on the positive, likely fake, reviews) I found that every thing leads to another paywall.

The premise is good and may be acceptable for an established business, but as a small business bootstrapping my startup my $50 subscription would end up costing me over $250 before I could get meaningful ‘value’ according to Zeely . That’s a $250 investment on a wish and a prayer that it would actually produce any revenue or increased traffic.

There doesn’t seem to be anything that you can do with Zeely that doesn’t take you to a paywall.

You cannot use Zeely /service to create content and then download it and deploy yourself - you are stuck using their ad service at premium rates (compared to FB/Insta).

I signed up on this platform with the hopes of it helping to boost my online sales. During the trial time I saw one person view my page on their site. When it was time to cancel before the week was up, I canceled. However, you can’t just cancel, you have to email them through their, customer contact form. Then I didn’t hear from them for almost a week. Today I received a charge on my card, thankfully, my bank detected it as fraud. At this point I emailed them again but this time I actually got a response. We went back-and-forth about how things didn’t work out for me and I just wanted to cancel. The representative kept trying to talk me into taking another week trial to use their system. I declined it. They did not take no for an answer and kept emailing me requesting that I take the offer. The reality is that if they hadn’t charged my card and had responded to me within a timely manner, I would have probably accepted the second trial to see if it was going to work. But one person looking at your page? Let’s ignore the fact that there were no sales. There was one person. Just one person looking at my page.
It’s just not worth it.

It’s very frustrating when I put my money into this app trusting them. I have seen great reviews but for some reason they have scammed me. My ad is not showing correctly, customers can not add items to a cart, customers are being told to leave a name and they will be contacted soon. I have sent so many messages to customer service asking for help with these issues and still no response. Yet the money I deposited to run ads is being every day, the good news is that the ad is getting a great deal of views but not 1 sell because no one can make a purchase. Plus there is no refund once you deposit money for an ad. They will keep running the ad even if something needs to be corrected like in my case. If you cancel the subscription you lose all your ad money. All I wanted was help with getting these things corrected and I can’t get one response! Customers can’t order so my ad money is being wasted. Very frustrated and sad about this situation.

Their options for creative are objectively unattractive and gimmicky, and the ad templates don’t allow enough customization options. When you go through the process of launching an ad, you’re just selecting all demographics and settings yourself for Instagram and Facebook marketing — this is unbelievably easy to do within the IG and FB apps—even easier than this app since they have a great native integration and you get actual data and results. I ran a $60 ad using one of their templates (customized to look as aesthetically pleasing as possible) and didn’t get any clickthroughs or sales. (Compared to running ads natively in Etsy where I get 5-10 sales per day). And then you get charged a fee for running the ad through this app even though you’ve done all the work to set it up yourself. It was difficult to link to my Etsy shop within Zeely — and you can’t get any real data unless you set up a storefront using their app/web platform. All around wouldn’t recommend.

This company is fraudulent and will steal your money every month even after you contact them to cancel an unauthorized subscription. You report them to your bank, then they block the transaction, then this app charges your Apple Pay. But get this, NO SUBSCRIPTION will show up on your Apple Account. So how are they charging you for a subscription that doesn’t exist in your account? They are finding some kind of loophole to steal money from iPhone users by accessing your Apple Pay information. Protect your data and report this fraudulent company. If you read their reviews on instagram, you’ll see many people fighting the same battle. I’m surprised a class action hasn’t happened yet. Also, when you contact them, an ai bot will respond with an automated message and then they just stop responding. It’s like the ai bot is trained to not take no for an answer and ignore you if you contact them for a cancellation. I’ve contacted them on NUMEROUS occasions and still have not received my refunds and they are still charging me.

I am a small business owner and would never normally write a review to hurt another business. But, the things that have happened cannot be ignored. I signed up for a free trial and I forgot to cancel during the 7 day free trial so I got charged. I knew I forgot so I emailed and asked them to cancel my membership. I got a response asking me why but never saying they would or would not cancel. Trying to push me to tell them why I wanted to cancel but not really doing anything. The next month came around and I was looking at my bank account and I was in the negative. I wondered how so I looked at transactions and there was this app 119 charge. I emailed again waited about a week and finally got an email. The same canned email I had gotten before. I was questioning myself the first time so I went through all the steps and adently told them to cancel. They gave me the run around and asked me to stay on. I replied for them to cancel. I am wasting my money, and my bank acct went to negative because of their charge. So, I thought this time surely I did everything I was supposed to. I went to look at my account again and guess what? There is another charge! I am going through some hard times right now just like many other business owners. I need my money refunded. This is absolutely ridiculous and I was willing to let the first time go but this is intentional on someone’s part. Please be very careful if you sign up for this.

I rarely write bad reviews because I believe every company deserves a chance to correct their mistakes but this is the worst experience I have had with a company. I signed up on 8/30 for the 7 day free trial. Zeely did not meet my needs. I canceled on 9/1 (day 3 of 7). On 9/8 I was charged $119. I contacted this app through email and I spoke to Emily. I asked why I was charged when I canceled before the 7 day trial ended. Emily apologized and confirmed my subscription was canceled and my account was deleted. Emily stated the dispute of my charges was moved to the Finance department and it might take a while. That was on 9/9. It is now 9/20 and my money has not been refunded! As per my bank, I had to try one more time to dispute the transaction with this app. As I stated, I rarely write bad reviews and even after being charged I still wanted to extend grace to them. I’m writing this as a warning. If you downloaded Zeely you are possibly a small business owner like myself and every dollar counts. They engage in false advertising because the 7 day free trial was not upheld. Please do not use this service.

Zeely is completely fraudulent. Customer service doesn’t exist. When I couldn’t get a hold of them about Zeely , I had about 18 orders waiting to be paid for. Buyers were having issues with payment, I tried contacting this app via email and through instagram, someone would respond only when I flood their instagram posts, but then they go
Completely MIA, I started going on Google to look up reviews. It’s the same issues others were having. If you go on Better Business Bureau you will see the true actual reviews there. They pay influencers to make fake videos, fake reviews. Please stay FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS! I tried to cancel my subscription and it was nearly impossible. I had to maneuver my way to trick Zeely out of my subscription because it kept being pushy asking to stay with them for 14 days free then it’s 21 days and then 30 days free! Ill also be changing my credit card number because the last thing I need is them charging me like other merchants have been saying. I blocked this app all over! I even confronted them on the reviews I was finding. They don’t seem to care one bit! Please please stay away from Zeely! It will RUIN YOUR BUSINESS REPUTATION! I ran fast enough when they weren’t responding!

Review 12 Hi there. this app user for 3 months. Positive impressions: - It's really easy to make a website. You just answer the questions and the magic happens. - The ads work well. I used to run the ads directly through Facebook. Now I use this app and the price per customer has dropped by 25%. - Excellent technical support. It's not just words. The guys and girls are incredibly knowledgeable. - The interface is intuitive. Zeely has many features, but they are easy to find. Zeely is not cluttered. What I didn't really like: - Limited ad budget. I had $10 per day. I had to get technical support to remove the limit. But I don't understand why they set it at all. - Few templates for ad creatives. I think there are about 20 of them, but I wish there were more. General impressions. Zeely is well worth the money. If they improve minor issues like the ones I described, it will be great.

Zeely did not work on my iPhone 13. I had issues typing the selections for the advertisements and issues with adding payment systems whereby Zeely got frozen so in fact, I was never able to use it. Perhaps this new version is more suited to the latest iPhone, and mine is just outdated. So I asked for a refund and may try again when my iPhone is updated I also found that on the descriptions for the products you were limited to a few characters with sounded very strange, and there was no option to have ChatGPT come up with a description there’s also no export to eBay another market places Zeely rely solely on advertisements on Facebook and to get clients and your own social media not work. It doesn’t take markets like eBay, Etsy and Facebook marketplace where client skin organically find you It also seems to concentrate more on landing pages I believe is the best way to attract clients. I was excited about the was disappointed that I couldn’t use it on, and I ask for my money back only had paid the day before. Also, I was never given the seven day no what happened to that?
