I received an advent calendar from Mary Ann Somerville on Oct. 24. I opened it, and it was fine so I deleted the install program. This morning when I tried to open it, it said there was an upgrade and it crashed my computer. I rebooted and tried again with the same result. Can you please send me the install program or whatever I need to open the calendar. Katharine Rosenberry

Spend Christmas amidst the bright lights of London with our latest animated Advent Calendar. 25 days of hidden surprises, games, puzzles, recipes and much more. A traditional Advent Calendar is a Christmas scene printed on cardboard, with little paper windows – one for each day of Advent – which open to reveal further Christmas scenes, so the user can count the days to Christmas. For our 2021 Advent Calendar, we’re inviting you to join us in the vibrant, bustling city of London for 25 days of Christmas fun. Every day conceals a new surprise, and on top of that there are games and puzzles, a Christmas tree decorator and a new version of our ever-popular snowflake maker, specially arranged Christmassy music, a recipe book, and much more to amuse you every day as Christmas approaches. Strictly, Advent starts on the fourth Sunday before Christmas and ends on Christmas Eve, but most modern Advent Calendars – ours included – start the Christmas countdown on 1st December. Incorporating the wonderful art and music for which our ecards have justly become famous, it has become an unmissable part of the countdown to Christmas for thousands of families across the world. Our digital Advent Calendar is much more exciting, of course, because the main scene and the daily surprises all come alive with music and animation! Here at Jacquie Lawson, we’ve been making interactive digital Advent Calendars for over 10 years, and our latest version is the best yet! Download your Advent Calendar now! We also depart from tradition by including Christmas Day itself!
