Useless app it keeps on crashing!

Now MementoDatabase crashes on opening and no response to support requests. Time to find a new one. Think twice before YOU invest a lot of time creating and loading your info in this database app. You too may have to redo it elsewhere when it becomes worthless down the road.

After trying this for a few hours and reading the online help, It seems impossible to create any relationships in MementoDatabase as the icon in the lower right corner indicated in help does not exist.

It is a good database program but it is unfair to change certain features after you have paid for a year of lite. No longer can I add more than one filter or more than one aggregation all of a sudden whereas I have many of both before they suddenly started this. They suddenly call this a free version. It is not! I paid about $35 for a year. Now they want $72 a year. This is unethical. I will not recommend MementoDatabase to anyone!

Spent a lot of time choosing this database. I have noticed that since the recent update, it crashes multiple times on my iPad. The number entries that “failed to upload” changes every time it opens. That makes no sense since the database is presumably stored on the cloud. Within one day it went from one entry to 3 and now at 15. If I try to “fix”, some will occasionally fix but more crashes. I know it wasn’t design for iPad, but if it is offered, it should function!

I would appreciate if that can be fixed as soon as possible… (IOS 17.6.1)

I really like the way the application brings up the poster for the movies and also the fact that it gives a summary of the movie not the whole movie. Just an idea about what it’s about. It would be more helpful if it was possible to add other fields to the database. For example, it would be helpful to know how the movie rated on rotten tomatoes.

Decent app but has some bugs that aren’t a problem on other platforms. E.g. tags don’t autofill historical suggestions.

If MementoDatabase had some further development that solved the problems we found in it in our opinion, this would be a 5 Star rating. MementoDatabase does have some very good distinctive features that do work though so it really is a good app otherwise.
We could view an image field to a full page, but there sems to be no zoom or preview ability to zoom in further which makes viewing pictures of text documents difficult.
We could not paste a clipboard image from other apps into a image field either. The image had to be saved as a file all the time and then imported into Memento.
Search Filters you create in the IOS version and in the Macbook version do not sync. You have to recreate each Filter in each version of MementoDatabase .
Images - are - stored internally in MementoDatabase and do sync. But Files and Audio field types only link to a copy of the content on the computer you are working on and apparently will not show their content on another IOS device or computer.
It may be possible, but it was difficult to set the font and its size for fields.
There doesn't seem to be a way to just have a small image of a picture in an entry. We picked the Thumbnail option in an image field settings and still the image was large view in an entry.
These were our issues with the Memento app. Some of its outstanding features are that it can show a tabular List view of all the entries, it is very easy to create and apply search Filters, MementoDatabase has an extensive choice of the kinds of data fields you can setup to keep your information in, MementoDatabase - does - sync very well among your devices and MementoDatabase is easy to use.

So useful and easy to learn!

I have used many database programs to date. I look for ease of use, functionality, and cloud synchronization. So far this program has solved all of those challenges. I use it on a daily basis, whether on my iPhone, PC, or android tablet the synch function to the cloud works magically. I do wish there was a way to synchronize from a local database to the cloud, because accessing the cloud in a remote location without cell phone access might be challenging. Overall, I am very happy with this, and gladly pay the monthly fee

App keep crash on my iPad 6th IOS 15, after upgrade to cloud subscription. It just open home page and close!

On iPad v 15.3.1, v 10.2 of memento starts with welcome screen an will not allow me to get to the databases in the cloud. If I click the back arrow in the upper left of the screen, MementoDatabase exits (crashes?). But, even stranger, very occasionally when I start MementoDatabase it starts up in the manner it did in v 10.1 and I can access my databases. But the next time I try it, MementoDatabase reverts back to the welcome screen. (When it was working in v 10.1, I thought it was worth 4 stars).

I have sent emails requesting help I login back into the Memento database cloud and none of my emails are recognized as a valid email so I am unable to log in. I have sent support emails asking for help but no respone.

With the variety of field options offered by memento you can track anything and with ease. Exporting is also easy.

It would be so helpful if you did!!

Is it possible to have some calculation on previous records to use in new record?

I absolutely love MementoDatabase. Helps me with all my organizing needs. It's easy to use it works great.

I’ve searched for years to find a way to organize my thoughts and quotes from other people. MementoDatabase is a dream come true and I’m able to keep it accessible and updated any time. Hope so can keep using MementoDatabase forever!
