Please don’t use LogMeInResolve. I was scammed by someone who took my call. They got into my phone, bank account and cash app. Please don’t download LogMeInResolve

I have charges from Apple that I never made so I looked up the number to call for a refund and was connected with a scammer who had me download LogMeInResolve and used it to look in my App Store, get passwords and steal$1,999 dollars from my bank account through Apple Pay by originally convincing me he was helping me get a refund. Now this isn’t something that would have happened to me in the past. But I had a stroke and brain damage from it which affected things like common sense etc.. We immediately hung up and called the bank and there is an investigation etc.. But the line attached to the phone number I called that day has been busy each time I tried to call them back(to mess with them) So hopefully that means they’ve either been caught or they shut down that particular scam(at least under that phone number) Just be careful with LogMeInResolve and any other screnmirroring app! It’s for your own good to take my advice.

Venmo guy tried to make me download this. Go to customer service form the official website where you are having problems.

If anyone asks you to download LogMeInResolve - HANG UP. Scammers use this as a pretense of being a representative of a legitimate company when they are working to get your bank information.

Thought I was talking to PayPal customer service and got took for several hundreds of dollars. Now reporting this scam to fbi because the got all my formation. And hopefully this scam will get shut down.

I got a message saying I was charged $578 I called the number, they said it was a sofa, he sent me a link and told me to get LogMeInResolve, it’s a good I was reading the reviews while it was downloading, I hung up and blocked the number.

This is a very risky application, so be extremely careful. Prime avenue for scammers. Had an almost identical experience with a scammer as in other review. While the intent of LogMeInResolve may be to help others. It seems it really helps the scammers, which in turn will only do harm.

Do not use LogMeInResolve, they steal money from hard working people. I called to get help from what I believed to be a apple representative. Regarding a concern I had with my account and turns out they do not help. Do not use period. They will not return your money.

They had a fake Etsy customer service number I clicked it and they used LogMeInResolve to try to help but immediately go off the phone once they had access. I’m not sure what damages can be done but I deleted LogMeInResolve immdiately.

They will take all your money out of your bank. They are persistent. When you put LogMeInResolve on they can access all your bank accounts and teak your phone usage . Do not use . Call the police immediately

Got scammed out of $500 and had to redo all my bank accounts and passwords. LogMeInResolve lets the scammers see all your information. I called what was listed as Apple Support. But was a fake website. First thing they wanted to do was download LogMeInResolve. They tell you they need to see what is on your device to help you. It’s a scam. Run away.

I will NEVER NEVER EVER purchase anything from Etsy again!!! I’ve been trying to contact them to download my pictures I purchased for printing. I’ve been trying since I ordered them on October 30th 2023!!!
Every time I try to login to my account it keeps saying that I have the wrong password! I try again and it STILL says that the password isn’t correct!
I even put in a password that said, I hate Etsy with no spaces. Never works.
They took my money right away but their customer service, via chat, was absolutely HORRIBLE!
So now I have to count it a loss of money!!!
It reduced me to tears. Been trying TODAY since 9 AM CST!!!
Never never ever again again!

I wish I had read Sara’s review. I googled Fitbit to get my watch fixed and clicked on the first link. They answered Fitbit and had me get LogMeInResolve to help me remotely. DO NOT DO IT!!! They got my bank info, wallet info. I’m pretty savvy and thought it would never happen to me. Please be careful, I right away called my bank and think I nipped it in the bud, but I need to get new cards, new bank accounts and all new passwords to my apps. Not counting my paycheck info and people I pay.

Why we need LogMeInResolve to be install in iphone if every one is telling that iphone are not hackable , people are calling from paypal and trying use app and tell us to install then try to still the personal information from our phone please don’t try to install LogMeInResolve if someone is trying to tell you ! 110% that person is scammer. Please read the review first before you go for install

Called number to get help with iPhone14. Person I spoke with whom I thought was a help support team member for Apple asked me to download LogMeInResolve. He then asked me to open various screens which identified my name and Apple Pay so he could see last 4 digits of credit card. He then told me someone was trying to purchase cryptocurrency using my bank info. He asked me to look and see if I had seen alerts from my bank telling me of the attempts. When I opened my bank app, he could see last 4 digits of my bank accounts. When I questioned him what all this had to do with my iPhone issue, he abruptly hung up. Be careful what you are asked to open because they will see what you see!!!

I do IT support for years and this is great app to help out customers. If you don’t want to be scammed DO NOT ENTER a support key from a stranger.

App worked great for my support issue. All of the one-star reviews seem to be from people that got scammed, and for some reason are blaming LogMeInResolve that the scammer used.

I wonder if these people are giving Gmail one-star reviews just because a scammer emailed them at their Gmail account.
