Just had to add my 2 cents as a neurodivergent person with ADHD. ImperfectFoodsGroceryApp does exactly what the website does. I appreciate that Imperfect Foods preselects for you what you’ve already agreed you may want in your order, giving you plenty of time to remove or add prior to the order being considered complete for delivery. I set a calendar event for the day before and 5 minutes prior to my order being available to edit so that I do not miss my opportunities to adjust my order for the weeks needs. Considering ImperfectFoodsGroceryApp was only recently released, I have had zero problems with it and its been flawless. Excellent job to whomever is programming/developing ImperfectFoodsGroceryApp.

I love Imperfect Foods. I started ordering my groceries from them in March - this service has been amazing for me from the start. Here is why I love it:

+ No more trips to the grocery store! Saves me so much time every week
+ Makes it 10x easier to meal plan and budget
+ Great reasonably priced selection - even has meat and dairy alternatives
+ Amazing Customer Service
+ Wonderfully designed app, super intuitive to use
+ Scheduled weekly deliveries

Since March I only had an issue with one of my orders, and the customer service team was incredibly helpful and understanding and fixed it immediately.

Most of the time it's hard to live more sustainably. The cost is time and money which is in limited supply when you're part of the working class. Imperfect Foods makes it easy. I really hope there are more environmentally friendly services like this one that make sustainable living accessible and easy. Plus, did you know Imperfect Foods is a B-Corp, how cool is that!

As someone with adhd I cannot allow myself to use this service. They automatically fill your cart for you if you don’t do it yourself then charge you for items you don’t want if you don’t remove them in time. I can not remember to check ImperfectFoodsGroceryApp consistently to make sure I’m not forced to purchase random items. Stop automatically filling carts for people with “suggestions” and let people place orders when they want to. I don’t care if it has to be a specific day but don’t make it automatic. Change these things and I’ll be more than happy to use the service but it feels like they really force you to make purchases and I’m not interested in that.

I have loved being an Imperfect customer for so many reasons, but at times it was hard to keep track of the times you could actually shop (since their availability changes weekly, you can only shop on certain days). Now with ImperfectFoodsGroceryApp I get push notifications, and it’s a breeze! 🎉 Their customer service is top notch and I love the variety of things to choose from each week. It feels so good to be able to shop sustainably so easily! 🌱

I’ve been an Imperfect customer for years, and I’m so happy that they finally have an app! I love the notifications I get on my phone now to remind me when it’s time to shop. It’s so seamless to get into ImperfectFoodsGroceryApp and shop easily wherever I am. Just a few taps and I’m done with my grocery shopping for the week. It’s also great that I don’t have to log in each time. A great app experience that makes being an Imperfect customer even easier.

I love this service. They always remind me by text to finalize my selections. I have 4 days to check my cart, make adjustments or to cancel. I can skip weeks in advance. I depend on this for mid-week service to avoid trips to the grocery store. I mostly replenish fruit and vegetables with a few healthy snacks and sometimes protein. The system tries hard to anticipate your preferences by asking if you always want an item or never want an item.

I’m sorry to say this but I can’t bring myself to support Imperfect Foods anymore. I was sold by their social media image and messaging as a company saving food and helping customers and their employees.

I have learned the truth about how they operate and treat their workers and it’s not good. Look in their boardroom and it’s run by ex-Walmart executives and finance guys looking for their next venture capital investment.

They claim to help farmers but the products are straight from the same distribution hubs that Safeway and Trader Joes gets their stuff. It’s not local to your area, it’s trucked all over the country. I spoke to an employee who told me this.

Also many of their workers have been trying to form a union because of forced overtime and unfair wages. Imperfect foods hired union busters to shut it down. Shame on them for claiming to treat their employees fairly.

I used to believe in the mission, but I don’t anymore. Do your research, this is all true.

With such a busy schedule, having an app on my phone that can remind me when to grocery shop is crucial for getting items we need every week.

Having sustainability stories attached to some of the items I’m purchasing and being able to see how many pounds of food I’m saving is a plus!

We’ve been using Imperfect foods for years now and are thrilled they finally introduced a mobile app! Shopping their catalogue has never been easier and we will never miss an order window again with push notifications. Looking forward to even less food waste and even more imperfect foods

So happy there is an app now, it’s so helpful to be able to get push notifications every step of the way with my order, including reminders to shop (sometimes emails get lost in my inbox). It’s really easy to navigate and not having to log in to my account each time is time saver! Thanks Imperfect!!

I have been an Imperfect Foods customer for a while now and have always been frustrated that I had to log on via the website to customize my orders. Not anymore! ImperfectFoodsGroceryApp is so user friendly and makes my grocery shopping a breeze every week. I would definitely recommend to everyone!

I’ve been an Imperfect Foods customer for a couple of years now. The changing of shopping and delivery days really mess me up. The new days do not work for me at all. The part that makes me angry is when I’ve forgotten to shop they literally double my average order. It’s so wrong and completely taking advantage. For instance I usually spend between $25-$40 however the order arriving today is $62 plus. Only one item is in my add to every order list. They are choosing the rest. I’m canceling my subscription because of this. Shame on you Imperfect Foods.

It’s great that you guys made an app, but HUGELY disappointing that you removed the “Shop All” functionality from the left drop-down menu. I want to be able to scroll through all your organic offerings in one quick view to make my selections. As a parent of a small child, I’m not looking for online shopping to take me 10x as long because I have to navigate through EVERY SINGLE section to see what you have. 🥵

I love Imperfect foods. We have been shopping with them for awhile now and love the je idea of saving food that would normally go to waste. However, I hate ImperfectFoodsGroceryApp . It is horrible to use. It takes forever to load anything. And then when I try to remove things from my cart it doesn’t let me. It continues to glitch and mess up. I loved the idea of an easy to use app but it is horrible to actually manage and to use.

So glad there’s an app now and I’ll definitely use it. I’ve been a customer for quite awhile now and love the added variety of products. It’s allowed me to try new products in addition to helping out with the food waste issue.

I’ve been a customer for over 5 years and have waited patiently for ImperfectFoodsGroceryApp , and it got everything right! So nice to be able to shop in one click from my phone, I’ll never miss a shopping window again.

I never write reviews. this company is amazing, and ImperfectFoodsGroceryApp makes it even better. ImperfectFoodsGroceryApp is extremely user friendly. the layout is simple, yet detailed. I love that there is backstory/reason for every item. truly great.

I get imperfect food orders biweekly and love them. I was so excited to see ImperfectFoodsGroceryApp come out because my traditional method of updating my orders to go through the website for imperfect foods. Unfortunately when I try ImperfectFoodsGroceryApp there’s no way I can complete my order. It doesn’t even let me add or take items out of my order. It just freezes on the screen for orders and I can’t scroll up and down. Sure hope they fix this.

So happy that Imperfect Foods introduced an app! I order food from them weekly and am often on the road without access to my laptop, so this makes it easier to manage my orders while I’m traveling. Highly recommend!!

After several years of being a fan and customer of imperfect foods, I finally have learned the truth about this company. Sadly, due to labor practices and union busting against their own employees I can’t support them anymore.

The image they put out there is of a happy team doing good for the earth, but they hired executives from WalMart and stopped treating their workers fairly. ImperfectFoodsGroceryApp worked ok when I tried it but I can’t bring myself to give them another dime. It’s okay, I don’t mind walking to the grocery store, especially now that me and my family are vaccinated

Checking my pre-filled cart each week and adding and removing items is so easy with ImperfectFoodsGroceryApp 🎉 I’m almost a little afraid I’ll start spending more now that it’s on my phone ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Love this service and the worst part about the experience was the web based ordering. ImperfectFoodsGroceryApp is going to dramatically improve my experience.

We’ve been hooked since the beginning, love so much about them. And the fact that in our area, we can recycle cold packs and foil bags as well.
