I bought PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer years ago I paid five dollars for it was one of the best apps and still is that I used. Recently it was missing from PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer Store and I was so sad and angry. I am really happy PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer is back and it even looks better. Because I have tried so many and have never not found a players that plays every codec there basically is through my network. Not even vlc media player. PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer is one of the best hands-down.

First of all, I had purchased the old version which was supposed to be for life and now am required to pay more for this “upgrade”. Secondly, I have the old version installed with videos local on my iPad. I assumed this would upgrade PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer with everything in tact. Instead, it installed a new version, from the “upgrade suggestion” link on the old app, with no option to move the files from one app to the other. Bummer because I really enjoyed PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer . And no, I don’t use iCloud to backup the data due to the space it takes up ..an upgrade should upgrade OR have very clear directions how to move the data within the iPad.

Every time I open PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer and start playing a file, the sound level immediately drops to 0%, it doesn’t matter what the volume was at from a previous time using PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer . If a different file is then selected, the volume is at the level from the previous file, but then it drops to 0%. I’ve tried looking at setting for PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer as well as my iPhone. No luck. I have an iPhone 12 with iOS 14.8

This is an amazing app for all my mp4s. However, with the 15.4 update PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer is asking me to purchase PlayerXtreme again and it’s very annoying. I will always use PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer over every other app because it is the best of the best. Please fix this bug because I purchased this and after 15.4 it went buggy. For a long time, I have needed an app that I can use to play music files or videos from my own cloud server (WD MyCloud), not just from my iPhone or iPad. That’s where all of my files are kept. PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer does that! Also, most of my music files are WMA files, so I need an app that supports that file type! PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer is exactly what I have been looking for!

i still have the old blue app in my 6s and was disappointed when it disappeared. Tell recently i found this revamped app and wondered if my pro features is still there. restored successfully. I would recommend PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer over any other players

Even the free version of PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer is Great a few tweaks here and there wouldn’t have hurt but now that they did a weird update and changed the icon it no longer works on my phone and I can’t even open it to see if it is the same similar or worse. I’m really curious to see if I can access the videos from the old up or if I have to go out and buy a computer just to re-download the Auld app to my phone.

Was bummed when you guys discontinued PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer. I had the what I thought to be pro version for life before this happened. Then I was excited when I came across PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer again. Just to find out I have to pay for the version I already had. Not even an option to resume the pro version for life, I say again for life. So if I pay the $29 this time what’s to keep you guys from shutting it down and bringing it back then charging another life subscription? PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer won’t even let me use it without picking a subscription.

PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer isn’t too bad, doesn’t allow easy scrolling through a movie but the major problem is the ad bar that pops up with every action holding you hostage to paying the higher fee. It says by now limited time offer, after seeing it a few hundred times you only wish that were true. Very annoying.

Couldn’t wait to get my hands on PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer so I could stream my movies off my Nas and experience Spacial Audio. It works really well.

I don’t see support for HDR I’m my MKB files. No tone mapping either but hoping that’ll be in a future update.

I was using a previous version when suddenly iOS required I download it again after a restore. I downloaded this version but after following several updates it still crashes immediately when I try to open it. I presume there is a conflict with the music folders from the previous version still being on the phone which I can no longer access via iTunes. Lost my music library 😩

If you’re reading this, can you fix the volume control while casting? Its allowing me to change the volume on the interface, but it doesn’t actually change the volume level output. I’m using a ChromeCast, if you have one handy you’ll see what I mean when you cast.

This new version is actually worse than the previous. Orange icon vs. blue icon. It tends to blow up a lot. Functions that worked before, don’t work in this release. It occasionally freezes during video playback. There are certain functions, which worked previously, cause PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer to fail, every time.

I really liked the previous release, now I’m looking for a reliable app that does what this one used to do.

Sometimes the ‘from internet’ option just won’t show no matter what you do. It randomly appears as an option, no rhyme or reason from what I can tell. Otherwise solid app that plays what you throw at it. Simple and easy.

This works better than PlayerXtreme did with the same interface and cotrols. Very fast buffering and excellent quality. Very thankful for the the ability to stream my movies with Universal Media Player on my PC.

You won’t know until you start using it that how important PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer is for anyone who wants to listen music and videos. This is the most used app in my phone .

It’s a great app but the main problem is that it lags for a moment if you forward or rewind the content playing.

I used to use PlayerXtreme and it was great. Note there’s this XtremePlayer. Wonderful los video sound for music videos. Spatial and noise cancellation works well too. Great purchase! Get pro version!!

I bought the previous pro version, but it dissappeared. So in some day if you guys produced another pro version, should I buy it again? Are you still the same team? Something seems changed.

Hello guy,let me request I want u to create own folder in Default File app Like other app e.g->Zapya,VLC for easy to copy ,upload or move multiple files to PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer at once. Now although i uploaded files to PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer,only top file is moved to the directory of PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer.

I paid again for the newer version after the older one was discontinued. The new version crashes after loading videos and won’t open anymore. I tried to chat with support, but they are not responding. I emailed them, still waiting to hear back. I hope this issue gets resolved ASAP. I loved the older version and I had no issues with it till it was discontinues=d, now I can’t have it on my new iPad. I contacted support several times, their suggestion to “clear caches” did not resolve the issue, I contacted them again, no response. It seems that the playerxtreme does not allow “unlimited” storage as they promise. After a certain amount of files stored in it, it freezes and crashes, it won’t work till you delete and reinstall. I’ve done that painfully 4 times, wasted four days and nothing helped. I hope they fix it soon.

Update: now PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer froze and is totally unusable. PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer support is extremely slow in responding, and they suggested to use the SAMBA feature, which means you can’t store any data locally PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer , you must use cloud and then use PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer to play. I ended up deleting PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer . It is not worth the $30+ if you can not store data / videos in it, especially if you can’t have reliable internet connection all the times to stream play from cloud storage. I’ll give them a week, if they fix it, great. If not, I’ll ask for a refund. Too bad, PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer is great if it;s working, but only disappointment for now.

I downloaded this for my young daughter so she would have all her Disney favorites on the go in case we lost power or internet, which living in California happens more than I wish it would. The player works great, she can almost navigate it better than I can at this point so I bought the pro version to support them and to get the extra features. I ended up putting it on my iPad and I love the fact that you can very easily download subtitles because I’m starting to get a little harder of hearing and that and the volume boost are amazing features that help out considerably. The only negative thing that I found about this is when you are watching something and get an alert that takes you out of PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer , when you come back to it, the screen is black. The audio keeps going but to get the video back I have to exit it and go back in. I tried to contact support to get some help, but it just opens a blank messenger page and that’s it. Other than that PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer is amazing, keep it up!

I have used PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer for years, since the option to upgrade for practically free was still an option. I love PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer because it is one of the few apps that allow the playback of webm, however I keep running into a constant bug that removes the use of the built-in browser. It makes it extremely easier to play webm via this feature and without adds unneeded extra steps by having to constantly copy paste the url from safari to PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer .

I’ve been using PlayerXreme for years now. Its never failed to play anything I’ve uploaded.
This new iteration has even more features (as you’d expect, right?). This application has legs. It’s so worth your time to try it out if you want to use something other than the bog standard Apple player.

Also in settings if we could disappear the share to TV option as to not accidentally broadcast to roommate’s TV. And an option to play links but I’m being greedy. Great app!

The 6 red badge needs to go away. I’d prefer an occasional reminder within PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer .

I paid for the pro, full version! However, after I upgrade my Ipad and restore from the backup PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer is no longer available and ask me to pay again!

You have to leave your iPhone screen constantly on for it to play across AirPlay - although I have yet to find any app that does this correctly.

The worst part by far is it’s *CONSTANTLY* asking you to pay $40 for the pro version. Any action you do makes this pop up over and over again all in a tactic to annoy you enough to pay for premium.

Highly *highly* recommend you go elsewhere.

It’s a pain to transfer audio files from the computer to the cell phone. The Netwerk option where you type the Internet address into the browser is buggy. It doesn’t always work. The result is that you can’t get audio files to upload onto the phone despite rebooting your computer, upgrading to PlayerXtreme Pro, etc.

After enjoying PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer for a week, everywhere I go within PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer it states this folder is empty and won’t even connect to a single device it did the first week. I mean I literally had all my media from my entire house at my fingertips the first week and was stoked! Then on a Tuesday morning of this past week the beginning of my second week spending $$ on premium package it begins a nightmare with this folder is empty and then it suddenly cannot access with Mac hard drive with the credentials I put in exactly verbatim and get nothing. I bet no one has an answer for this, and do not blame me because I know how to put usernames and passwords in correctly especially after the fifth time there is absolutely no way I made an error. So please do not blame me because I have not made any changes to my apple devices. I hate when an awesome app is top tier and then it heads for the sh:t:s&

I’ll pay for PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer as soon as it can actually resume from where I left off like it perpetually asks me if I want to do. You won’t find where you left off, you’ll be lucky to even find the video you were watching ever again. But you will DEFINITELY get the pop up asking if you want to BUY IT FOR A GREAT DISCOUNT (I’ve had PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer for months, the discount is always the same. That’s not a discount at this point, it’s the full price and you PRETEND it’s a discount.)

I downloaded PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer years ago at the minimum at least four ever since I downloaded this I used to use the free version. However, one day I decided to pay for the lifetime premium until this day. I absolutely love the decision that I made. Why is because any file on my network that’s a video file that can be played on this appon my iPhone better than anything else

I have had PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer for quite some time and I am no techno geek so I'm still learning however it's definitely no waste of time because there seems to be an endless stream of cool features so get PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer , keep it & keep on keeping on and with time & patience you too can unlock it's abilities . Other apps may be easier but noting equals what is possible with

I am very happy with the new design of Dark Mode, but with this update the program has become slower to open!! In addition to an old problem that still exists, which is when I play some high-quality 1080p videos and select a specific section of it , the program hangs and no longer responds... forcing me to close it and reopen the program ...
Please solve these two problems:
1-The problem of slow opening of the program
2- the problem of freezing when seek fullHD video .

I’ve used PlayerXtreme for many years and personally I’d be much happier to have the original version from years back. But I’ve grown and accept change must be made. And I can ignore the “suite” of bloatware that I’m encouraged to partake of since it’s “free” with my pro level.

The newest bug fixes and updates have taken a very usable video player that was very easy to airplay with, and made it a clunky system.
Example. Before February 2024 you open AirPlay and connect to tv and you’d the folders and file view on your phone and tv both. Once you started a video it would black screen the phone and open full screen on the tv.

Only the video would be on the tv and only the controls would show on the phone. Now as of February 2024 it’s a mirror of the phone at all times. If you pick up the phone to fast forward rewind skip or anything the controls cover half the picture and if you rotate position the tv picture does as well. And as always there appears no way to undo these unwanted changes.

TLDR: playerextreme makes external screen always mirror phone view and rotation completely.

Tried many players but so far this works best. Just two issues I find annoying. If watching or listening in landscape mode when returning to view the library it reverts to portrait mode forcing me to have to rotate the iPhone manually. Also can’t browse my music library without the music stopping so I can’t choose the next song or build a playlist while music is playing.

I’ve used this for almost as long as I’ve had a phone now, and it always works. No invasive ads, no constant begging for buying the pro version. Just a one time screen each time it’s opened and that’s it, and you get access to the full functionality of PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer without paying. Or rather the full functionality of the video player, I’m unsure about anything else as I use this for webm, mov, and other such files

I have been using PlayerXtreme Video Player for a long time. I have seen the program change and improve.
There is nothing even close to the ease and quality of PlayerXtremeVideoPlayer. If you choose not to use it, you are making a huge mistake.
