Video to Photo - Grab HD Frame Reviews

I bought this a month ago to use and it worked well, but they seem to have updated it and won’t restore the purchase for people who have already bought it and now want $50 for it and they’re trading 5 star reviews for use of certain features.

This was once a decent app that did what it was designed for, getting a high quality (not just a screen capture) of a frame in a video. You bought it and it was yours to use. Then came an”update “. Every feature it had is now at a premium level. Not just more money once, they want a monthly subscription. And little things like advancing through images- they force you to write them a 5 star review. Sorry, that’s just straight-up extortion. Bad players like this don’t belong in VideotoPhoto Store. Here’s your review- buyer beware. There’s other better apps that don’t play this scam.

I didn’t read this anywhere and I downloaded VideotoPhoto and it’s telling me I have to pay once to do it but only after: I let VideotoPhoto access my videos, I chose a video and a frame and hit complete.
If the case is that it’s costs 2.99$ it would make more sense to make VideotoPhoto 2.99$....
No free limited version or anything. Disappointed because the screenshot from the video that it took looked good. I don’t have the money and if I knew it costs money I wouldn’t have even thought about downloading it.
Good app, smooth interface and high quality video and photos. It makes it very easy to chose a frame with next and previous frame buttons.

Cool layout and scroll options, probably my favorite from any vid to pic app, but these caps are not HD. and for 2.99 you’d think you were paying for quality, since other kinds of VideotoPhoto are free. I thought I’d be getting clear caps like I did with an old app like this that was was free (but stop being updated). But alas...

I like your apps so clean interface, but I have one problem hopefully to fix it, the problem is if you have a video 1080p 60fps when you slide to the middle of the video you will see like to be lag or if i use it if I click next frame or previous frame it seems to be lag or it doesn’t work you should try this and you will know what I mean and also if you using your finger to slide also the same you need to fix this problem and I wish if you can make the video playing while I select the photo from the video it will be so useful, at the end thanks for making this useful apps ❤️

I absolutely love VideotoPhoto. I have a hard time getting the photos I want and it bales me to take video and get them.

I’ll be honest, you can take screenshots of your videos but this is easier! Curious to see if any effects are added into VideotoPhoto .

iPhone should do this in photos - since it doesn’t, this is super handy. Can’t do much without paying or reviewing, but hey, the creators deserve credit.

Haven’t had the chance to use VideotoPhoto yet but you have to give a 5 star review to see your frames without paying for a subscription

They make you do this to unlock the “next frame” feature for free. VideotoPhoto is okay but I wouldn’t give it 5 starts. Might as well pause the video and take a screenshot.

I have lots of videos of my 5 grandchildren that I had often wished I could save a frame as a photo. This is so user friendly and quick. I highly recommended getting VideotoPhoto !

I don’t worry about those lousy picture grabs when I’m videoing because I know I can get my pictures right out of my video with Video to Photo. I’ve been using it for years. Thank you for thus great app!

I purchased VideotoPhoto back in April of 2017. With the resent update, I now have to subscribe monthly in order to save frames????

Thanks for a great app, but with this change, I’ll have to say thanks for the memories, it was great while it lasted.

So, there was a whole “review to unlock advance by frame” which I don’t recall being there before. Anyway... it does what our says, so there you go. It works. Doesn’t make me dinner, but does what it says. so there. It really is a decent app.

About two weeks ago I downloaded VideotoPhoto and it said 2.99 for unlimited pictures, yet the details in VideotoPhoto also say unlimited HD picture for one time fee now VideotoPhoto has all of a sudden updated and now is requesting me to pay 299 a week. So where does the unlimited come from, now that it’s technically limited..

I absolutely love VideotoPhoto, it’s great! But I purchased it and paid the $2.99, then got a new phone and downloaded it from my same apple account and it’s saying I need to purchase it again. I go to the settings and say restore purchase and nothing happens. Very disappointed to have paid the cost and to no longer have access to the frames.

This is a fantastic app! It is so easy and smooth. I like taking pictures of animals at night, and it is so much easier to video them than time a flash, and now I can extract a photo perfectly! The one suggestion I would make is to copy the location data on the video to the extracted photo. The photo comes up having no location, which can be frustrating.
