Reader iPhone Issues and Solutions

How to fix Reader app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Reader app on iPhone
Update Reader app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Reader iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Reader on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Reader network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Reader Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Reader not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Reader App
1. On android, goto Settings » Reader » click [Force Stop]

Update Reader to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Reader App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Reader » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Reader.

Fix Reader unable to contact server/ Reader internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Reader » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Reader » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Reader
