When listening to the app read the article, it starts and then plays to the first paragraph, and then crashes and causes my Samsung S10e to lock up on the blank background (background only/no icons) before shutting the phone down. Every time.
While attemptingto listen to an article, it will crash and close. I'll need to open the app, search for the article begin listening and skip to my last progress. It's been happening since I downloaded the app 3 months ago. Most of the time I get a little over 1 min of listening at a time, when I'm fortunate I'll get 3 or 4 minutes of listening before the next crash. This morning it's anywhere from 5 to 20 seconds before it crashes. I tried about 8 times. I uninstalled and reinstalled, still the same problem.
App seems to work fine for everything except notes. As soon as I begin to scroll the entire app crashes. Hoping this is a temporary bug. Otherwise I love this app.
Audio on my Substack subscriptions stopped working today. I get a message that the audio is on progress. Wait a minute. 6 hours later same message. Thanks for your help.
I keep receiving an Audio Processing message. The message says "This audio for this post is still processing" - unfortunately, it's been days... Using the latest updated iPhone.
I've just signed up to Gareth L. Powell's newsletter. I have received the sign in to Substack app email, which opens a new window with the Open Substack app button, but nothing happens when it is clicked. The app doesn't open on my phone. Please advise next steps. Thanks
When I use substack reader Android app for one of the substacks I am a paid subscriber of, it never finishes reading a post, crashing out of reading a few seconds in and forcing me to restart from the beginning every time. Did I mention I only have this issue with one substack? Reader works fine for others. What could be the reason?
Android app will not allow me to sign up
John Paul Substack. I tried to read the article about Ukraine you copied and pasted and the print turned into long narrow windows with small writing and is only showing the copy and paste section.The app is stuck on that section and won’t move forward or backwards. Not to the start of your article or any of my other followed ones…It is on an up to date iPad.I can read on Substack website,but no voice over ! I will post this from Safari ,please take it up with Substack,
Installed the Substack app on my Duo 2 Android phone. Looks like it clobbered Outlook. At this point both the Outlook icon and the Substack app icon point to my Substack account. How can I bring the Outlook icon to point to my e-mail account again?
