Melon does little more than the airline apps themselves do. Outside of booking a multi leg trip with different airlines, you’re better off using the direct airline app of your choice.

On top of that, are multiple redundant notifications that you can’t turn off. I’ve had Melon for five weeks and I’ve had dozens of notifications for “rallies” and “pertussis outbreaks” that show up EVERY SINGLE TIME you open Melon . I’m not sure why these notifications even exist, and why you can’t stop them from occurring. Garbage developers and a next to useless app. I wish our company never signed up for this trash service.

I downloaded Melon after taking 12 or so trips and I have 100 notifications that I can’t get rid of. Just a red bubble with a huge number annoying the crap out of me, even though I’ve. When I go to the notifications page I can’t delete them. Not to mention my airline apps give me all the same notifications so these are 100% useless.

Also both Melon and the website are clunky and way worse than just booking travel direct through the airlines and hotels. Horrible UX and super slow/glitchy.

I can’t wait until my company moves to another app

All the 5 star written reviews were written at about the same time - probably by employees. It doesn’t work. They’ll waste your time, sell your data, and laugh about it. I can’t get Melon to actually work, so my review is limited to the useless process to actually log into Melon . The desktop version has a help chat - that does not have log in help as a topic and no real humans or AI on the chat, just dead air like Melon.

Lookup slow compared to google flights. Times out and/or never returns routing quite often. Might be useful for people who travel occasionally, horrible for frequent business travelers who need options quickly. Also doesn’t integrate seat selection - faster and cheaper for me to figure out what flights are best and book direct with the airlines

This is a great way to waste time and money
The options are better on traditional apps and Airline specific booking platforms. You can’t edit your flight once booked unless you completely cancel it. Also last minute flights may not work because of the lag time for this app to pay for the ticket.

My organization recently began working with corporate traveler and the experience using Melon has been fast, easy, and accurate. I was able to connect with a live person to make an adjustment to my flight from the taxi in nyc.

Very user friendly and a great addition to our travel resources. Love being able to book change and chat straight through my phone from anywhere while I’m on the road.

this app is the tool you are missing!
Thankful for the chat function and the quick response. Love to book independently- but to know I have the support I need when changes are needed are key.
