Invoice Maker Reviews

There is no ability to create reocurring invoices. I need to be able to create invoices automatically on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis.

I only need a simple invoicing program; my accounting is done in a separate program. However after using SubTotal here are additional features that would move it up to a 5 for me.

* Auto populate/save item descriptions as they are typed
* A column for date of service or purchase
* Provide option for Separate categories (so that items, delivery charges and services can be grouped together by category on the invoice.
* option to drag and drop order of items. I itemize by date. Sometimes after completing a bill I find an outstanding charge that needs to be inserted chronologically into the invoice. Its a real pain to retype the whole invoice to insert one item.
* a function to show payments applied, with check or transaction number.

This is still a quick, easy to use and useful program. I hope to see these features added soon!

InvoiceMaker simplified the process of getting paid for the work that I do. I would love to see more options for customizing my invoice - the available layouts are rather limited in my humble opinion, and the options (listed under "invoice types", where you can choose items to display on your invoice) are still very confusing for me, despite having played around with them quite a bit and reading the available help pages.

For example, I would love to include my total number of hours worked at the bottom of the invoice next to my total wages, but I haven't figured out a way to do that yet. On the "invoice types" page, there's an option to include tax, which I don't need because I pay taxes separately, I'd love to be able to change that to "total hours worked" or something that would better fit my needs.

Despite these suggestions, Subtotal is still a great app and very helpful!! Thank you for creating it.

I was looking around for months to find an easy to use and affordable time tracking and invoicing solution. I purchased this one and the WorkingHours to go with it. Previously I had troubles with accurate time recording, task tracking, and invoicing. Now it is really easy, as an invoice is simply one click away. There was a minor bug with a recent update. I contacted Timo, and he responded right away, and fixed it! You can't go wrong with SubTotal and WorkingHours! I liked them so much, I also purchased Diarium and AtomicClock...keep up the great work.

Would highly recommend InvoiceMaker for any one looking for a simple easy to use invoice maker. This allows me to make multiple invoices with different companies, clients, etc with out hitting me with a pay wall. The UI is simple to use and isn’t hard for anyone that doesn’t know how to invoice. Definitely going to pay the one time $7 to support the team as it is 10x better than any of the other thousand + reviewed invoice apps. Great work y’all.

Using the two titles „WorkingHours“ and „SubTotals“ from the same developer over the last 6 months I am really impressed by the ease and usefulness of the two programs but also how seamlessly they interact with each other. Running several mandates and tracking time used and costs accumulated every day, I can absolutely recommend the software.

As a developer, I typically make tools like this for myself. BUT - when I find a tool already made that does wht I want it to do, nd does it well, I have no problems paying another developer for their efforts.

Thi is a really good tool that seaamlesssly works with it's sister - "Working Hours".

InvoiceMaker is just what I needed :). I love that it tracks my hours but also makes a simple PDF I can invoice my clients! I even had my daughter start to use it to track extra work she does around the house so we can pay her!

I have used InvoiceMaker a few times now and has been flawless! I recommend to any small business that does not need an extravagant invoice. Absolutely love it! Keep up the great work!

InvoiceMaker is wonderful, I rely on it 100%. Without it I’d have to use a notepad and a stop watch, and a calculator. lol :-)
