Berlin City

My name is Karen Doyle and I am new to the area I moved here from Michigan and my husband is Del Doyle and we reached out to Dennis that works that Berlin city and he hooked us up with an amazing vehicle. The finance manager was also amazing they both went above and beyond to make sure you were completely satisfied with the vehicle. Great customer service and like I said they went above and beyond I recommendBerlin city auto everyone! Thank you againThe Doyle’s

22 ram

Im a new this app owner and downloaded the many apps that for whatever reason are linked to this app. I like RAM it’s very useful but I can’t get RAM on my Apple Watch face for the shortcuts can’t find the option to add it to a face also notifications are only shown when I open RAM which I don’t like that’s basically useless. The notifications should pop up like all other apps do just right on the screen like a text. Notifications are on for RAM so it should be working. I also have the this app app on my watch and it works just not able to add it to the watch face. Please fix these issue

Devs didn’t keep up with IOS 16

The devs screwed up the update with the new IOS and broke the paid services app. I am now paying for a service they broke. Tech ticket opened but still not getting fixed. Time to cancel the subscription for uconnect service, which was horrid to start with and now is unusable. Don’t release a product before it’s ready and done beta. Edit: after a week and half of getting no where with “customer service” and then being told that they cannot cancel My account “because that dept has left for the weekend”. Yep, deleted RAM and as of Monday this piece of hot garbage will be refunded. Spent 12 years with nothing but problems using uconnect with Jeep and FCA hasn’t learned a damned thing.

Almost perfect but needs Siri

Love all the function of RAM . Two things would complete it in my mind. Siri integration. I live in Michigan and have a smart home. I use Siri for everything. I would love to be able to say to my HomePod “Hey Siri, start my this app”. Obviously lock unlock too. Lastly and not sure if this would be possible but sometimes I get in and it’s 120° in there. Could Siri open the moonroof or be integrated to remote start based on cabin temp. Obviously auto close upon remote timeout too…. Just thoughts.

Worked for 3 days/ won’t open/ dealership don’t care

Dealership demanded I down load it , and made sure it worked before I left, said this app would hold money back if I didn’t
3 days later it starts to open and immediately closes again .
Had truck back to dealership, and they shrug their shoulders.
What a piece of work, hope the actual truck is better

RAM Scam

The sole purpose of RAM is to give you access to the “installed features” of your new $100k vehicle. You know, all the added features that are in the vehicle you just purchased that made the sale value increase $10k to $20k. And the best part is you get to continue to pay this app for as long as you own it, if you actually want to use these additional features built into the vehicle you already paid extra for them in the 1st place. At some point there will be a class action lawsuit against this app for charging extra for features on a vehicle only to continue to pay year after year to use.

Privacy risk if buying used vehicles

RAM is great in almost every way, except one major issue for privacy if you purchased a used vehicle. RAM does not allow you to remove vehicles you may have sold or traded in. I traded in my Jeep Gladiator for a this app several months ago and RAM is still showing me where the Jeep Gladiator is located at all times and will not allow me to remove it from my app. In every other way, this is a wonderful app, but this issue seriously needs to be addressed.

First time Ram owner

Been a Ford owner most of my life. Never a loyalist, it just worked out that way. I’ll never own another one. Their ignorance of “off the shelf” engineering is mind boggling.
I just bought my first Dodge/this app ever and I couldn’t be more pleased. Loaded to the hilt Night Edition Limited 2500
The dealership, customer care and the superior quality has earned my loyalty. Now I’m a loyalist. this app

App Needs to be fixed

Currently RAM is not working. After the last update, when I open RAM , nothing shows up on the screen. I have uninstalled and reinstalled RAM , and it’s still doing the same thing. Before the update, RAM worked fine for me except it would never give me the correct fuel level once I filled up the vehicle. It only read correctly when the vehicle got to about a half a tank.

JD

Went in for a quick fix to my 2018 this app Power Wagon, wanted to tell my salesman hi, and left the dealership with a 2022 this app Power Wagon.
Didn’t mind me asking an opinion, from my Boss, then my dad, gave me an amazing price for my Trade… and the deal They made me on a brand new truck… I don’t think they could have sweetened the pot anymore.
Thank you Murray this app, in Starke Florida !!!
POWER WAGON!!!

Clean and Dependable, but Needs Work

RAM is clean and dependable. It is a huge improvement over the Uconnect/Sirius Guardian app, which was not reliable in my experience.

I really hope this app adds FaceID (in place of the PIN) and Quick Actions (so we can perform common actions by long pressing RAM icon on the Home Screen).

This is a great beginning, but we need to be able to remote start the vehicle quicker and more efficiently.

By

Developers need to tighten up ASAP!

App was working perfectly fine up until new update dropped, now it only shows my truck on the screen and nothing else. App has become useless and there seems to be no update in sight. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled RAM multiple times. I wouldn’t be mad if it were free, but paying for a service and not being able to use it is frustrating. For a person like me that travels a lot, being able to monitor my trucks location at all times, WAS a huge benefit.

By

Doesn’t work

RAM has a lot of great features, some of which I haven’t tried using yet but the ones I have (remote unlock, lock), don’t work. It just says immediately that it failed.

Upon downloading RAM , it found all my info from logging in and contains data such as location, fuel level and tire pressure, which is nice.

RAM has the potential to be a huge bonus for this app owners, if - they can get the kinks worked out to make it function properly.

By

Keeps logging me out

RAM is horrible. It continues to log me out randomly even though it’s used almost every day. It restricts the characters you can use for your password so it makes it difficult to create a secure memorable password, and if you try too many times it locks you out for 24 hours and not even support can unlock your account. RAM works ok, but this credential / log-in process is garbage and will leave you unable to connect to your truck potentially for 24 hours. Do not recommend.

By

Working properly now

Have a 2022 Dodge this app 1500 Bighorn. App worked initially but now will not update current mileage or fuel level. At least it still tells me where truck is located and locks/unlocks doors.
*UPDATE: Spoke with uConnect phone rep. Suggested that I remove app and reinstall. Mileage, fuel level, and remaining miles on tank of gas are now showing up on app.

TRX Performance during hurricane IAN

My TRX saved my life and functioned as my escape pod during hurricane Ian I waited until the very last minute to evacuate the power, traction and suspension of the massive machine proved to be everything necessary for me to navigate through the treacherous winds, debris stalled cars and flooded streets I will forever be loyal to this app!

Recognizes my vin, and stops there

I have tried more than once and is the same issues. Invalid VIN if I use the scan method but has no problem recognizing the VIN manually imputed.
And the you have to access the activation app on the infotainment display, but can’t find that app anywhere including in settings.
And then the biggest issue is when connecting to the help center to finish the setup the wait time is greater than 20 minutes. Great truck for 60K but RAM service comes up horribly short.

By

Awesome truck!

The whole process in ordering the truck, text notifications up to the delivery of the vehicle was great. Graven Dodge always goes above and beyond. This is our third vehicle purchase with them. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

By

Useless and shameful

It worked ok for the first several months I had the truck. Then RAM became a total brick. Just shows a picture of a truck. The dev responses to similar reviews suggest that the paid subscription service is required for any functions of RAM , even the most basic things. There’s no excuse for requiring a paid subscription to schedule service. Or view a pdf of the owners manual. Utterly disgusting. My response? I’m selling the truck and going back to Toyota.

Cannot get past the last 6 of the VIN

When I try to add my 1500, I cannot get past the screen where it asks for the last 6 digits of the VIN number. It simply displays "Vehicle Not Found" and "Please enter a valid VIN".

This has to be a mistake and needs to be fixed and addressed please. My Ford Escape Titanium and Nissan Altima using their respective apps don't give me this issue. I'd really love to be able to use the this app app the same way I get to use those apps, especially with the money spent on my 1500.

Thank you!

Decent when it works

I will start this off by saying I am used to also using the Tesla mobile app which is leaps and bounds ahead of RAM. That being said, I understand they are 2 completely different vehicles, so my expectations are different for the apps. Unfortunately RAM is extremely hit or miss on when it wants to work. Sometimes it opens and works fine, other times it opens and says “updating services” and just sits. I am forced to close it and reopen it.

Often if I am using RAM to lock/unlock/remote start I will get an error that it didn’t work. The problem here is that most of the time it did work and either the truck or RAM isn’t communicating correctly. It’s very slow to respond when using which can be frustrating. I am sitting on my couch, just attempted to lock my truck 3 times and all 3 times it errored out and failed. It’s really frustrating that the basic functions are inconsistent, especially since it is a fairly expensive service to use with minimal gain for that expense. For what we pay for the truck to be active, I would expect RAM to work almost flawlessly. For me, that isn’t the case. I honestly can’t understand how RAM is rated 4.8 (at the time of my review).

Mopar to the ram app?

I’ve been using the mopar app just fine to look at my truck details, manual, warranty, recalls, along with service along with mopar shop.
Then I get notified that RAM is going away and to upgrade to this this app app. Now I downloaded it but seems like they are asking for some kind of subscription that the mopar app never did. Why do I have to pay for features I don’t want? I have had guardian free for a year when I bought truck but basically was useless and never used it. So saw no need to renew guardian service. I just want to look at all the stuff the mopar app had without getting features I have to subscribe for.
So when I go into the this app app literally just the Home Screen that says “no subscription” call center. My truck info is in RAM but literally no features to look at. Just shows: assistance, account and about. No other information the mopar app had. Is something wrong with this this app app that it’s not showing anything? It’s logged into the account just nowhere to go. And I’d hope you aren’t forcing people to get a subscription to use the features that were free on the mopar app.
So far the this app app is basically useless unless you apparently pay for a service you don’t really use to like unlock vehicle or remote start or whatever guardian was.

Needs Improvement

RAM is a nice to have feature for my this app; however, having other brands in the household and utilizing their apps, reveals some things that are hard to overlook. For example; RAM does not update my this app’s status every time i drive the vehicle and then park and turn it off. Instead, It randomly updates the miles and fuel level, etc. I can drive 100 miles and RAM will still show that I never drove those miles until days later then it decides to update. There is no specific timeframe, it just does it randomly. I live in a very urban area and cell tower signal is not an issue. I also have the vehicle connected to my home wifi when I am at home. Please fix this feature as I pay for the subscription to be able to see the real time status of my vehicle. It would also be nice to be able to adjust the cabin temperature and turn on the heated or cooled seats through RAM . Vehicle fluid levels and door ajar or windows closed or open statuses should also be a part of RAM to make it worth paying the monthly fee in my opinion.

Waste of time

I went to use my Mopar app to set up a service appointment. I noticed RAM said I have a recall. I clicked on it and instead of telling me what the recall is, I would now have to download a new this app app to use instead. I couldn’t just switch over though. I had to call Sirius/Guardian for some reason. They had me taking pictures of my registration and to download it to the link they sent. I had to do that 4 times and keep calling back after each time. After 4 phone calls and 45 minutes of talking with them and not getting anywhere they decided to send me to a this app customer service person instead. Phone call #5. He listened to everything I said and looked up a couple of things but couldn’t help me with RAM . He sent me to yet another customer service person. I waited on hold for 10 minutes but I was sent to Canada customer service by mistake instead of US. Now I’m on call #6 with no resolution and 1 hour and 15 minutes of phone time. Customer service person #6 just told me now I have to call a different number but they’re not open on Saturday and I’ll have to wait til Monday. Unbelievable.

Upgrade Ready? Not so much.

Got a notification that the My this app app was no longer going to be supported and to “upgrade” to RAM. My user account and vehicle seemed to be recognized just fine. For the most part, RAM is just a vehicle summary that’s always with you. I would guess that there’s supposed to be more functionality than this but scheduling a maintenance appointment didn’t work in the previous My this app app; so I don’t have high hopes now. In fact, the option to search for and set a preferred dealership DOES NOT WORK.

You attempt to search for a dealership, a map comes up and a keyboard but no interface to actually enter an address in to. Once you’re there, you’re just stuck and you have to “soft” exit RAM and relaunch in order to get back to the Home Screen. Maybe it’s my fault for jumping to the suggested app so quickly. In my defense, if you’re going to push notifications to users to jump to an updated app at least make sure all the features are functioning.

1-star rating because sometimes a misstep is so bad, like in this case, that there’s really no excuse. I don’t want to be the bad guy, but the developer(s) need to see this.

Lastly, most of the positive reviews I’ve read are for people being in love with their this app or the team that sold it to them and not the actual this app App itself. It doesn’t help anyone in the long run (developer or end-user) if you don’t stay on topic.

Almost perfect!

I mostly love RAM and how easy it is to control the truck and schedule service. A few things I'd love to see changed are:
The actions like starting the truck should allow using Face ID instead of always requiring a passcode.
The colors on the passcode screen make it very difficult to see how many digits have already been pressed.
Some of my passcode key presses don't register so I have to clear it and start over.
If my network connection is spotty then RAM logs all the way out. It should only log out for requests with failed auth and not for other things like timeouts or failed requests (unless there are a lot in a short time).
This is probably a stretch but I'd love to be able to schedule my next startup so each night I can be sure my truck is warming up when I go outside.
It'd be amazing if we could roll the windows up, down, or partially down for times when it's raining or really hot outside.
Last thing, the price for remote functions is disappointingly high. I know that's not your department but I feel obligated to mention it.

Thanks for all the hard work! Viva la revolution! lol

Terrible App and Marketing Ploy

UPDATED Feb 22,2023

Well, I received a quick response from the developers and they asked for what I considered useless and unnecessary information that they “needed “ to help me. I provided the information and they said it might take 2-3 business days for them to analyze the problem. That was February 1,2023, so they’ve had over 3 weeks to fix this and it still doesn’t work.

There was nothing wrong with the this app Toolbox app, but someone decided they had a better idea.

The developers are quick to respond when something is posted in RAM Store where millions of people can see it, but when it’s 1 on 1 email exchanges, they could care less about customers.

Please get rid of this new app and continue to support the this app Toolbox.

*** Original review is below ***

I had the this app Toolbox app and all was fine. Now FCA says to the Toolbox app will no longer be supported and to upgrade to the “new” this app app. I did so and now I get a message stating that I don’t have a subscription to Sirius Guardian. Of course I don’t have a subscription. I am not going to pay $15 per month for something I don’t want or need. I paid a lot of money for the features in my this app truck. I will not pay a monthly fee to access those features. BRING BACK THE this app TOOLBOX APP, and stop being so greedy.

Limited Functionality

I’m writing this review and hoping I might be missing something on RAM . I’m comparing RAM to another one I have for a Kia that is 1/3 the cost of the this app. The vehicles lock, unlock and start functions work about 20% of the time for me on the this app app. There is nothing that indicates the status of any of these functions. The Kia app shows the status of vehicle whether it’s locked or unlocked, running or not. Adjustable settings for heat/AC, seat heaters etc. and the subscription cost is $100 less per year. Can the status of RAM functions be added to RAM ? Can control of heat/AC be accessed by app? I would be more than happy to pay the subscription if RAM can provide more features and vehicle status. Thank you and hoping the developers can view this as constructive criticism.

Awesome except….

Awesome app. I love how you can lock the truck and even see how much gas you have and the gps tracker all from RAM .
But, one simple feature should be added. A notification in RAM or maybe a widget you can add to your Home Screen that tells you if your truck is locked or not.
And maybe to get a little crazy add an ability to see your rear view mirror and reverse cameras anytime from RAM . But I realize the last bit would be excessive and expensive.

Door lock/unlock feature is not working properly

RAM is great, however, just recently the door lock/unlock feature has not been working. I am able to start my car using RAM , but when I try to unlock/lock the doors I get an error message stating the the function could not be done. I uninstalled RAM then reinstalled RAM and the function worked again, once, and then stopped working again. Repeated uninstall/reinstall, function worked again, once, and then stopped working. Yes, I could use the key fob, but why pay extra for these functions of I can’t use them? Help!

By

Very basic and dull

You would think with todays technology and how computerized my truck is one would be able to open RAM and see everything and control every function. It would be nice to see if my windows are rolled down. If the windows are rolled up, lock it unlock it start it once it started be able to unlock it. You could turn on the heat turn on the seat heat or cool seats AC.
The heated seats in sheet on remote start only comes on if it’s below 40° well what if it’s 50° and I want to turn the heat on but if it’s 90° and I want to turn the AC on I can’t.
The only function is unlock, lock, remote start horn for whatever reason. Like I said, if you remote start using RAM , you didn’t can’t unlock it with RAM .

By

Info rich

The old Uconnect app was garbage. This one is finally worthy of a monthly payment. Additionally, the signal relay from RAM to the satellite and back down takes half the time, 15 seconds, as opposed to 30 seconds on average, for the vehicle to be instructed to unlock, lock, start or cancel. RAM even tells you what your tire pressure in the oil life is as well as the projected amount of fuel in distance. Much more informative than the old app. Pleased so far.

By

Mostly does what it’s supposed to

Mostly does what it’s supposed to, but why are there multiple apps that do almost the same thing? They are all developed by the same company but have different names and different icons and version numbers. There is the ucconect app, that black this app app, the white this app app and possibly others. Some can find your dealership, some (primarily the white this app app) won’t. Some will list your recalls, the others will not. It’s all kind of a mess and no one can tell me which is the official app because they all claim to be the official this app app. Then there is the Mopar app, but don’t get me started on that…..

By

Ram Toolbox app was better

As suggested by FCA, I upgraded to the new this app app. The new app was missing the following functions: My Dealer coupons were not displayed; service maintenance schedule was not available. Incorrect information is displayed in service history: for a service history entry the calendar date selector scroll defaults to the correct month and day but for last year (2022); the mileage entered in service history displays correctly in the detail page but the mileage shown for each service history entry on the service history summary bears no resemblance to the entered data (off by tens of thousands of miles).

Does not update the vehicle fuel, tire pressure or health report

I’m tired of messing with RAM to get it to work. I’ve called tech support too with no help. It shows most information correctly, but refuses to update the fuel level, tire pressure, and health report and there’s no way to force a refresh. It still locks the doors, remote starts, and shows the location, so I know it sees my vehicle. Refreshing the location works quick too. I have a 2023 this app 2500 Rebel. I have an active subscription. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled repeatedly, with no luck. I’m not going to pay for a subscription if it can’t give me what I am paying for. Tech support has been useless in helping. Very disappointed.

By

Show that the engine is running

I love RAM and convenience but I wish after you started your truck it would confirm that it was running and notify you when it shuts off. I work in a steel mill and can’t see my truck. That’s the reason I pay for the Uconnect service. When it gets -0 degrees I like to start it again after it shuts off. This is my only complaint and suggestion. Thank you!

By

The app is - needs some work

RAM is functional for the most part. Doesn’t always update until way later. And the pic of the lock/unlock buttons are different than the advertised photo. Not sure why you went from all 5 buttons on the first screen to only 3. Made more sense with all 5. And can you please add a widget, or something those shows whether the doors are locked or unlocked? My Toyota app has that and it’s much cheaper. Should be free for the basic functions but I guess you can’t have it all.

Mike Boudreau 2022 Ram 3500

The best experience I’ve had with a dealership in a long time. Okeechobee Dodge is the place to buy new or used trucks. My salesman Brent was the best. They close at 7 knowing I had to work and was a couple hours away they stayed late to close the deal. I will be going back in the future and buying another truck from them. All the staff was very polite and helpful. I will be tell all my friends or who ask were I got my truck about them. Okeechobee Dodge is #1 in my book. They washed and fueled the truck up.

By

I want to like this app

I have waited more than 3 months to write this review thinking that they might actually fix my problem, but alas they have not. It will most of the time lock or start the truck, but you never know if it is going to unlock it. RAM always says it fails, but sometimes it unlocks anyway. Almost as soon as I got my truck I discovered this bug and contacted them.

Other than the first person I talked to they have been really nice, just useless.

I kept trying to get them to extend my free trial since they hadn’t managed to fix RAM , but they refused. Instead they wanted me to subscribe and they would give me an additional 3 months trial, but they of course wanted my credit card info immediately. Not a chance I am going to risk them getting money from me for something that they won’t fix. Heck, just today they tried to get me to subscribe saying that they would waive the activation fee and give me 3 months free.

Even if RAM did work; it doesn’t have nearly the features that my friends have available to them on their apps for other makes of vehicles so it probably still wouldn’t be worth what they want to charge.

I guess I knew that getting a this app instead of a Ford was going to have some downsides.

By

Why would a Ram vehicle app be so slow

You’d figure with what we pay for RAM service and caliber of this company they’d have the best app possible. It takes forever to load, when you select an option or command It takes forever. And it has nothing to do with bad signal because cell phone has great reception. I don’t understand why mopar/this app hasn’t invested in a much better app and service. It’s almost like they don’t care or take it or leave it attitude . I’m so disappointed with it. I would recommend anyone that’s thinking of getting it to hold off if you can live without until they do a major overhaul on RAM . It’s outdated, slow interface is horrible. Plus it’s way way overpriced for what it really helps with. They’re making a killing off us. They don’t offer any discounts or support for first responders or military.

By

Works all if 10% of the time

Well just like it’s sister app Uconnect, RAM works about 10% of the time. Despite notifications, the vehicle health report hasn’t updated in RAM for a year, and the remote start or door controls hardly work, I’d be faster for me to just use my key and walk outside near the truck then use then app , doesn’t matter if i have 5G service, on wifi at my home it still take min 45 seconds to several minutes or just fails to work at all
While GM and ford have zero issues with there apps
quite like RAM(I’ve used them both too) this app seems to fail to fix their app in the 4 years I’ve used it so far. Maybe it’s the terrible cell service they chose to use with T-Mobile, who knows, but at $10 a month there is no value in this product

By

Huge downgrade from previous app

RAM is a huge downgrade in my opinion. I’ve been using the Uconnect app since I bought my truck, and I am aware that SuruisXM guardian is replacing Uconnect, but RAM is extremely basic. Yes, you gain access to setting up service from your dealership which is nice. But the features like door locks and remote start have not worked one single time for me since I downloaded RAM. I’m extremely unhappy with losing access to remote start. I also miss the vehicle data being displayed within RAM . It was nice to be able to pull it up and see that I have enough fuel or that my tires are all full of air . I also wish that it notified me when my fuel got low like the Uconnect app did, since sometimes I forget to check before I get out of the truck.

Overall, not happy with RAM. If they don’t resolve the issues with my remote functions, I will not be renewing my subscription next year. It’s not worth it if I don’t have remote functions.

Ram App Downgrade From UConnect

Unacceptable The Makers of app overlooked compatibility of this app App vs UConnect, as all may have noticed The Obvious. When setting up this app App, when choosing which carrier/type of mobile phone you’ll be using, when listing available iPhones it only shows IPhone 12 and below. I believe in 2023, we’re at IPhone 15. That’s A RED FLAG if I ever saw one, also IOS is outdated as well. I’ve only had 1 successful command go thru and that was only after I completely Deleted/Removed The UConnect App that I had very few issues with since 2016. Customer Service is clueless to the compatibility issues, which lessens any assistance they can provide. Like many others in these reviews, I’ll NOT be renewing services. Maybe when this app App Bottom Line $$ becomes a issue They’ll Get to bottom of issues, too bad my dollars won’t be around to notice!

Need scheduling capability

I love the ability to lock, unlock, and start remotely, but I’m not in love with the price. One thing that might tip the scales would be to add some additional security to my vehicle. this app trucks don’t have an auto locking mechanism, so I’m relying on remembering to lock the door every time I get out. We recently had some car prowls in my neighborhood so I’m concerned about leaving my truck unlocked at night.

It would be great if I could setup a schedule to automatically lock the truck every night at a specific time or at dusk. And it would be even better if i could automatically lock the doors when my phone is a given distance from the vehicle.

Uconnect Over Ram App: A World of Difference

I recently was for to switch to the disappointments of an app the “this app” app for my 2014 Dodge this app 1500. Right off the bat, Uconnect's layout was a breath of fresh air - intuitive and efficient. Unlike the this app app, Uconnect actually showed crucial data like gas left, tire pressure, and oil life which the this app app frustratingly omitted.

Moreover, the this app app teased a remote start option, a feature my vehicle doesn't support, leading to further dissatisfaction. Additionally, the this app app proved unreliable, working sporadically despite multiple attempts at troubleshooting like updates and re-installations. Same problem as everyone else… Works if the truck is recently turned off but after about 30 mins doesn’t work.

Uconnect, on the other hand, not only provided essential vehicle data but also integrated seamlessly with other functionalities, offering a smoother user experience. Uconnect's reliable and user-friendly interface made managing my vehicle's data a breeze, a stark contrast to the clunky and incomplete this app app. A solid one star for this app app and a hearty recommendation for bringing the Uconnect app!

Uconnect app was better

RAM won’t let me add my truck. Says I have to call an agent. Uconnect app worked just fine.

Update: was able to get my truck added to the garage. I called the number that RAM gave me. The agent had me uninstall and reinstall RAM , change my password, log into the website instead of RAM which showed my truck in the garage already. All of this I had already tried on my own. That’s literally all the agent knew to try. They gave me a different number that I had to call, but it was outside of their business hours. Called them and apparently the email address that I used to sign up for the old uconnect app was different than the email I used on the Mopar site. The agent changed the email for me and it fixed it. Keeping one star because it’s extremely slow and customer service for RAM is terrible when you have to call multiple numbers to solve an issue. The 2nd agent even almost had me call a third.

The old Uconnect app works immensely better

Not sure what the problem is here, but RAM simply isn’t reliable. We’re talking less than 10% of the time RAM responds to a command to remote start or unlock. Perhaps my 2017 and the required 3g adapter makes remote starting obsolete now that this app has “upgraded”. While $10 isn’t much these days RAM isn’t even worth that. I keep receiving check engine light warning emails and warnings on RAM . No dtc’s are present when I hook it to a scanner.

Now let’s talk about the location feature. Is this supposed to be real-time or should I be using his to find out where my truck used to be parked? If the former RAM fails, if the latter it probably still fails, but it’s something.

Last RAM for me

Nickel and dime repairs are killing me. Used to have a very high opinion of Dodge this app Chrysler. Latest trouble is their remote software. Does not work dependably after they forced an upgrade on be. Worked fine befothat. Now every time I open it, I get a message telling me to download new software. Nope. Does not do the trick. Before this change the WIFI provider changed because Sprint and T-Mobile joined forces. I was sent a module to plug into my diagnostics port so I could access the WIFI. I have to reset it every two to three weeks. I’ve been on the phone with support no less than 6 times. Each time they think they have it fixed. Again, nope.

However I will say the service reps I’ve encountered have been very polite and respectful. Just wish they had permanent solutions.

Clunky and Schedule Service Terrible UX/UI

When it works, it’s OK, and that just is the basic stuff as far as unlocking, your car or the remote start feature but beyond that RAM is terrible as far as it’s user experience and integrations. For example, when you try to schedule service you get multiple error messages it doesn’t tell you why it doesn’t tell you what needs to be corrected it just times out and you cannot move forward. When scheduling services at dealers it’ll just tell you after you’ve spent minutes frustratingly trying to fill out their service request form that only allows you to see the first two lines and continues to move around to only find out that after all those efforts of typing and trying to inform while trying to schedule a service that those services are not available at that location and it does not give you an option to switch locations so you have to go change your main dealer and then start the process all over again just to be told there’s a system error and it won’t work Super frustrating. Hate RAM. You might as well just call the dealership. All it is is basically a key fob for your phone

Doesn’t seem to work. Update 1

Update from my review back in October. Still
VERY intermittent. Sometimes takes 4 or 5 attempts to lock or start, then sometimes works like it should. I should add that I have a 2016 this app so I have the LTE adapter on the diagnostic port. I think that is a lot of the problem. Placement of a cellular transceiver under the dash board of a metal truck is probably not the best design. Maybe they put external antennas on the roof for a reason? It’s been 31 days since my last health report. Really questioning why I’m paying for this. We also use Hyundai’s Blue Link app which has a lot more features and is considerably more reliable. The Mopar team has some work to do here.

Since downloading, I’ve been able to lock the truck once out of several tries and have yet to be able to start it. About to save myself $10 a month by dumping UConnect. Old app was bad but worked most of the time. Nicer GUI but no function.

Works good for me, but…

RAM has some nice features, like sending addresses to the truck from my phone, as well as location, which pretty much all of them do now.. some things I’d like to see are more options for starting, like maybe the ability for adjusting the time limit to up to 25 or 30 minutes. Also, more available info on the truck’s state, like battery voltage, feed back on if the truck is running, and the ability to set the starter on a schedule, like you can on other apps. It would be nice if I could set the starter to run in the morning, or afternoon when I’m finishing work, on set times. I can’t take my phone into work with me, and the fob doesn’t have much range.

My App Works Except No Locate

I’ve had the UConnect since 2018 when I bought my 2017 this app. RAM was always great and helpful to monitor the oil changes. The UConnect App was replaced with this this app App, everything is working the same except the locate on RAM is no longer on my app. I can’t see where my this app is like I could before. This feature was always a plus in the event heaven forbid that my this app was stolen. Finding where it’s parked can also be a plus! Why has this feature been removed? Can this be added back as it shows on RAM ? Put together an upgrade to add back the location feature please. That would be the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars because it is very good otherwise!
