Support issues

Nowhere on the download page, does it state anything about what kind of earbuds are compatible. for an app that is meant to indicate battery levels and connect to Bluetooth devices, it must have an update to include all types of earbuds for the last five years. TWS earbuds are not supported. Such a waste.

Missing feature

Biggest problem is that the in-hear sensor cannot be disabled and often music stops simply because of pressure change

Very bad

In this application only you have very lost devices, why you don’t support every types ?
I think this is better if you made something, you have to very soon add this thing in the application!

Not compatible with iPhone

HeyMelody cannot connect my OnePlus Nord Buds 2 to my iPhone 12 Plus. Error message says “No device found”. I followed all the instructions for connecting, but still didn’t work. I tried contacting support and they don’t support the US. HeyMelody should not be available in Apple’s App Store if HeyMelody isn’t compatible. Other reviewers have had the same issue.

Does not Connect with my OnePlus Buds Ace

I bought a pair of one plus buds and thought it would connect. However, later I found out that it doesn’t pair with one plus buds ace or nods buds 2 or nord buds etc. Only a selective few models are supported. This is a very disappointing and unsatisfactory customer service. If HeyMelody does not support all types of buds , you should have written that in the description of HeyMelody !!

Doesn’t work with one plus buds 2

Very disappointed that HeyMelody doesn’t support oneplus buds 2 although support is listed in the manual. This leaves me unable to take advantage of any customizable features of my buds. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

Audio ID not working on IPhone

It seems this is a continuous issue for people with iPhones. That’s a huge market of customers and I’m not exactly sure why HeyMelodys programmers are fixing this

Need to Fix the EQ settings

First off, I have loved my Oneplus Buds Pro which are an outstanding pair of wireless headphones. The subsequent firmware updates have made them even better adding dual connect and EQ settings to tweek the sound to your liking.

That said, I no longer have the equalizer option which seems to have gone away with the latest update. This is a must for some, and really should be addressed as it’s probably a deal breaker for some.

Poor Support/ connectivity for ios

Even after the connection is successfully established by Bluetooth on an iPhone, HeyMelody won’t be able to connect the buds. It will be keep on scanning for devices and eventually fail to connect.

Please Improve connectivity for iOS devices 🙏

Frustrating Dependency on Network Service

I recently encountered a major inconvenience with the this app app. It requires a network connection to change headphone settings, which is incredibly frustrating. I was in a building without service and couldn’t switch to transparency mode because HeyMelody insisted on having a network connection before allowing any functionality. This kind of dependency makes no sense and greatly diminishes the user experience. Please address this issue in future updates! 🎧📱✨

App is meh with iphone 14 pro

HeyMelody works just fine with my OnePlus buds pro, but since the eq was removed from HeyMelody my buds only sound nice with full noise cancellation. In the other modes the bass is gone and music sounds like crap. At this point HeyMelody is an option with iphone, but it's far from a great option. Tbh I'm really tempted to just delete HeyMelody and just see how the iPhone handles my buds native.

Hi need help

They have moved the equalizer I can’t edit my earbuds sound anymore can you please fix this bugs fast I need the sound back to normal

Works Fine with iPhone 14 pro max

I use Z2 ANC and its compitable with iPhone 14 pro max.
The reason i gave 4 because if I disconnected from other devices its not automatically connected.

Good

Seems to do what it says it’s nice to have control over buds that aren’t apple.

Wow

Outstanding sound and features.

One plus Bullet Wireless Z2

One plus Bullet Wireless Z2 properly working all features on iPhone.

One Plus Buds Pro 2

Works great for IOS. Heard the most recent firmware update isn’t great, so it’s good that it lets me keep them not updated.

Omg plus ear buds pro

These sound better than beat fit pro and Bose qc earbuds which I was listening to for the last year. Not comfortable and a better music app. These rock 5 star no doubt

Recommend

Amazing app 100% recommended

Issues Have Been Fixed

While I was skeptical to download HeyMelody due to the slew of negative reviews I did so anyway so I could at least update my OnePlus Buds Pro 2. I was presently surprised to find that all of the issues reviewers had written about are fixed (at least for me). Connection was quick, easy, and HeyMelody stayed connected. Updating the earbuds was quick and painless. Also the reviews complaining about the lack of EQ customization seem to be outdated. As there was a tab with a small selection of premade EQ balances and the option to create my own personal balances preset. Overall everything I wanted and needed was in HeyMelody and it seems the company has fixed previous issues.
