Your app rates consistently lower than any other tests I run. You need newer equipment. The speeds you’re saying I’m getting might be accurate if I were using wireless. Maybe your devices can’t read high enough. It’s like using a car tire air gauge on a bicycle tire. They usually don’t record high enough.

I downloaded SpeedTest just for my Apple Watch, and it kept saying no connection which was a total lie. Never using SpeedTest.

Doesn’t do a single thing on the Apple Watch except take up space. This is not a new complaint, either. The developer knows by now, I am sure, but they don’t bother to even address the issue.

Also, the [Settings] button on the iPhone is worthless because there ARE NO settings to be controlled! What, exactly, is the point of that?

The “high tech” font used in SpeedTest is clunky and not at all easy to read quickly. Basically, there’s nothing here to like and no hope of the developer ever getting serious about it.

I got SpeedTest specifically because they tout it working on Apple Watch. The only thing that happens when I run SpeedTest on my Apple Watch is a red circle comes up that says ‘No Internet’. I tried it both with my watch connected via cellular and Wi-Fi, after I verified connectivity. SpeedTest is garbage.

I am really strict when it comes to rating apps.

I would give it 3 stars but since it is a free app and no option for a paid version, I gave it 4.

What I really like is the “recent” tab to see your older tests.

I am not giving it 5 stars because I would really like to see more information about the “recent” / old speeds test you have done. Information like the connection (cell data or WiFi) also IF a test was done on WiFi, the name of the connection you tested it on, such as home wifi, work wifi, startbucks-hotspot, etc etc. Along with that, the IP that it was tested under and the ISP, and be able to choose what test host you want to use (if there is more than one) and displayed in results as well. Be able to share all your recent test via email, text, Dropbox (the normal stuff) and an option to export in excel format would be nice to have.

One last simple thing, a simple “what is my IP” button just to have there so some people do not have to use two different apps, I know the program shows the IP at the end but I sometimes like to confirm what IP/Network I am on before I do something.

That is all I can think of for now.

I would buy it if it had that stuff.

Having a paid version for 1 dollar a year would be nice, you would be surprised how many people would sign up. However you would probably get more people if you added the options above.

Good working speed-test utility but I need an ad-free option to be a regular user.

The font is difficult to read, otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

Very simple to use and accurate!

As a truck driver SpeedTest to the house to pinpoint some of the better areas to get some of my downloads done.

Easy to use for a fast and ready speed check.

I bought a mesh network and I am speed testing around the house and SpeedTest has been great so far.

I am please with SpeedTest.

And you are not hit with ads or requests for $…..

This is such an easy app to use! It also saves each test you complete so you can see what times of day are peaks and valleys.

Fastest this app app no pun intended. It uses a lot less data hence goes much faster.

This is my 3rd & final attempt to review this praiseworthy App.
Look no further. Great to have a handful of Speed readings before one calls their provider’s Tech Support, it’s all the difference in the world.

Ease of use & consistency is bar none & worthy of at least a sixth star.

Footnote: When finished writing a review, watch your finger(s) because when one tries to proofread, it’s UberEasy to get yourself kicked off the screen & your review is gone, period. I doubt I will write any more reviews as this is a royal pain, to be sure.
