Macaw iPhone Issues and Solutions

How to fix Macaw app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Macaw app on iPhone
Update Macaw app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Macaw iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Macaw on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Macaw network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Macaw Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Macaw not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Macaw App
1. On android, goto Settings » Macaw » click [Force Stop]

Update Macaw to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Macaw App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Macaw » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Macaw.

Fix Macaw unable to contact server/ Macaw internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Macaw » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Macaw » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Macaw
