Despite high hopes when installed, Fidium has been a disaster. Frequent drops, intermittent slow speeds, but the worst has been the website user interface. I’ve tried for months to pay my bill online, but every time I click on the link the site circles back to the page that I’m on, never completing the link, never allowing me to pay online. I downloaded FidiumAttuneWiFi , but I’m stuck on a page which states, “Searching for pods…” and nothing more happens.
Customer service has been worthless. Aside from an overly long wait on hold, once connected the customer is bounced from agent to agent, each agent asking in turn for the customer’s lengthy ID number, despite the fact that they can easily look up one’s account by name, or phone number.
Not a single suggestion offered has worked, agents are condescending, I’ve been treated as an old guy who’s simply not internet savvy, with no suggestions for resolution of the problem. When I asked, repeatedly, for a physical mailing address to which I could send a check, it was only on the third request to a supervisor that I received the info, with the admonition that if payment was late I could lose service.
Had I any other option at all where I live I wouldn’t use Fidium, and certainly wouldn’t recommend the company.
