Despite high hopes when installed, Fidium has been a disaster. Frequent drops, intermittent slow speeds, but the worst has been the website user interface. I’ve tried for months to pay my bill online, but every time I click on the link the site circles back to the page that I’m on, never completing the link, never allowing me to pay online. I downloaded the app, but I’m stuck on a page which states, “Searching for pods…” and nothing more happens.
Customer service has been worthless. Aside from an overly long wait on hold, once connected the customer is bounced from agent to agent, each agent asking in turn for the customer’s lengthy ID number, despite the fact that they can easily look up one’s account by name, or phone number.
Not a single suggestion offered has worked, agents are condescending, I’ve been treated as an old guy who’s simply not internet savvy, with no suggestions for resolution of the problem. When I asked, repeatedly, for a physical mailing address to which I could send a check, it was only on the third request to a supervisor that I received the info, with the admonition that if payment was late I could lose service.
Had I any other option at all where I live I wouldn’t use Fidium, and certainly wouldn’t recommend the company.

Interface often freezes up and sometimes requires an app restart. Bandwidth usage reporting is a joke. Apparently a laptop sitting idle on gmail can download 50GB in 15 minutes (that is over 3Gbps even though we only have a 1Gbps connection). The parental controls are also very lacking in options. For example, there is no equivalent of a timeout (eg if you want to give a device a 30-minute window to access the internet, it isn’t possible — you can only unfreeze for the day, then re-freeze the device at a later point). I could go on and on… simply put, it is your everyday garbage app designed for the masses.

I have had a lot of issues with WiFi on and off! My security cameras won’t work once again with the WiFi. My WiFi when down on a Thursday and called that evening because it didn’t come back on . They send me a message saying they won’t be out until Monday. Went all them days with no WiFi for phones, television and security cameras which I’m paying for and not able to use. Tech came out this morning the issue is on their end got it back on but not my cameras and for some reason my IPhone won’t connect!! Very frustrated customer and ended up canceling my service!!
