BrightWay Credit Card Mobile Reviews

I was approved for the card back in December 2021. I have never been able to login to BrightWayCreditCard . I was patient at first and willing to talk and figure out why I could not access BrightWayCreditCard . During multiple different conversations over the first month I was told to uninstall and reinstall. Then told to reset my password through OneMain Financial Website but don’t login in there and to go back to BrightWayCreditCard and login. Then I was told I’d have a ticket made for my account to have the issue addressed. Then I was told that the representative would have management contact me to help. I am still waiting on the call from nearly 2 months ago now. I have a card and i had to activate it through the phone but I refuse to use it if I can’t follow the charges made and if I can’t make payments as needed. I’m glad I was approved for the credit but it’s unfortunate that it’s useless to me. To this day, and again just now, uninstalling and reinstalling and resetting the password has gotten me NOWHERE. There’s no point to call as ask for assistance because that has always gotten me NOWHERE also. I was told a website would be up sometime for the credit card. Maybe, whenever that’ll be, I’ll be able to use my card.

Love the card, don’t like BrightWayCreditCard and automated phone service too much. This would be a great app if it worked on a regular basis. But it doesn’t. I have had to delete it, reinstall it, delete it and reinstall it, and half the time that did not work. I have had to go through the OneMain site to get my card information. BrightWayCreditCard would also be good if you could add your debit card as a second payment option. This feature does not work using the automated pay by phone and the customer service agent asked stupid questions over and over again asking how I was trying to access it! DUH!!! How idiotic. And why after your payment posts, it takes so long for your balance to update. Another reason why having the debit card payment option as a second source of online payment, because it will update within 24 - 48 hours.

In short the phone service and mobile app are not sufficient and needs a lot of improvement. With these improvements, it can make the process more efficient.

I’ve been working on rebuilding my credit for the past 2 years. I have an unsecured capital one MasterCard that I have had for probably 4 years now and they have barely raised me up to a $700 credit limit. BrightWay started me off with $1000 right off the bat! So far I’ve made 3 on-time payments and once I get to 6 I can pick either a lower interest rate or higher credit limit. Can’t wait. This card really motivates you to manage your credit wisely and I can’t wait to see what future features and benefits they add as they help me rebuild my credit.

This card would be great but it’s really an issue that this card says it’s could take 5-10 business days to release funds that are already out of my bank account. If I wanted to practice good credit building practices and pay off my balance in one month and be able to use that new amount the next month, I have to wait up to 5-10 business days to even use the money! The money is no longer on my checking account at this point— it’s literally already withdrawn and in the one main financial system, yet I can’t access my own money. Something I’ll be looking into more and definitely considering not keeping this card. Never have I heard of a credi card company that takes that long even after they’ve already withdrawn the money.

Needed to check card immediately to make sure that I wasn’t double charged by a merchant because the self checkout machine shut down during my transaction. I could not access BrightWayCreditCard , had to call customer service. The entire time I spent trying to access BrightWayCreditCard and reach customer service was half an hour. It was like being stranded on the road waiting for a tow truck. BrightWayCreditCard is like an hourglass on your computer…three dots spinning, spinning, spinning.

I have been enjoying my new card. I was approved within minutes. After I received my card, I love how after you make a payment you don’t have to wait to see your available balance. Additionally, they have a program that is you pay on time for 6 months, you will get bonuses, likes credit increase or other cool things. Great card so far.

BrightWayCreditCard makes it so effortless to make payments and see your balance and transaction history and whats best about BrightWayCreditCard is you get rewards like making certain payment for an increase in credit and cashback which is really nice. BrightWayCreditCard is fast and convenient to use thank you Brightway!

It’s a simple and straightforward ! I like it-
But I thought I would share some of functions that would be great, if they are available on BrightWayCreditCard .

1. App push notifications for purchase/payment/return or any activity

2. Email confirmation after making payments(or is it just me, not getting any email confirmation?…)

3. Ability to “Edit/Delete” bank accounts already added.

Now I do see that there is option to contact the customer services, call or email. That’s awesome!

It’s unfortunate that there’s not a website for this credit card yet, the only way to make payments is through the poorly designed app. The Face ID works maybe once every 10 logins. If you don’t exit BrightWayCreditCard from your phone, the screen is frozen in the login screen, and doesn’t allow you to click on anything. Not to mention a typo within BrightWayCreditCard , just makes me feel like it was quickly made and not tested well.

Just recently signed up and set up was easy. App has most features that one needs and is simple to navigate. So far is great. *Please note that this was recently released and is being updated all the time. Personally haven’t run into any glitches/issues.

This is my top card! I love BrightWayCreditCard and ease of use. I love the auto bot that helps me process my payments . Just really easy.

The on issue I run into is using FaceTime to log in. I will enable it but it doesn’t work when I log in.

Other than that really great card and app.

Nice user interface design and surprisingly smooth chat-style experience. Haven't encountered any issues that I can recall after several months of occasional use. Earned my first app review in forever, so that's gotta be worth something.

I’m continuously having login issues with BrightWayCreditCard all it does is buffering and does not login I uninstalled and reinstalled BrightWayCreditCard then tried logging in and it finally gave me access I paid my bill and logged out. I made a purchase recently and wanted to see my balance so I tried logging in and had the same issue and it did not let me I tried calling and no one answered. BrightWayCreditCard as all bad and really needs to be upgraded

So far I’ve had nothing but issues with BrightWayCreditCard . Can’t even register or activate the card without BrightWayCreditCard . So far the card has been useless for me, as I can use it until it’s activated.

So when logging into BrightWayCreditCard for the first time, it ask for you to register. This is where it goes downhill fast. It only ask for your last name, last 4 of SS and birth date to validate you. Every time I type it in, it tells me they are unable to verify and to try again later.

Really clean and simple app makes it easy to check transactions, statements, and card details. Customer service was also very helpful in getting me set up when I was having issues.

I applied with BrightWay because they partnered Credit Karma. I enjoy making payments online.
I called customer service to get clarification on a small matter. BrightWay explained everything about the how the process works.

My Credit Karma rating an outstanding approval and upon submitting my application. I was approved through notification on my email. This is a great opportunity for me to continue to grow my credit. Thank you for my journey to excellent credit.

I was skeptical on using this card since it was offered via CreditKarma but it has been a great experience so far. App is intuitive enough. Rates are reasonable. I would recommend

Only been with BrightWay a few months and I love it! App makes it so easy to make payments and check on transactions. Balance is accurate and I can’t ask for much more!

But after holding off for a few months something came up where I need to use this card. Now I have peace of mind.

Simple app with easy to follow prompts to make my payments and add bank accounts. Happy with it so far.

BrightWayCreditCard is worthless. I enter the “one time verification” code and nothing happens. Been this way since day one.
