Autowash Car Wash Reviews

I utilize two locations in my area, one location has 3 automated bays, and the other has 2. During the colder months, there is ALWAYS one bay under repair at each locations, and the lines will then have 5 plus cars. Each car takes 7.5-8 minutes. Every time I go in the colder months, I expect to wait 40-60 to get a wash. More then once have I had a problem with the wash in my locations, and when I call, all they want to do is credit me the wash, and never compensate for time lost. If I could pass one piece of advice along to this car wash chain is to put cameras on each of there locations pointing at the lines, and make it accessible for their members to see on AutowashCarWash what the lines look like, and put up alerts if a bay, or what bays are not working BEFORE DRIVING THERE. The customer service has no authority to give you anything when you’ve had a bad experience with their wash other then another wash. I would go to another car wash provider, but they are a lot of $$$, and for what the others charge, I would also expect them to vacuum the inside for me for one vehicle. At least Autowash allows all of your vehicles to be under your account. Their self service wash bays are always online, so that’s a win for them.

Rather than updating the current app that has worked fine since I became a member they decided to get a new app that does not recognize my user name and password once I spent the time to recreate the user name and password now it tells me there are no codes but to check back soon because they are loading codes all the time never had this issue with the old app and I am glad I was the first person in line as if this happens again after waiting in line for 20-30 minutes I will just cancel and get a membership at one of the other 5 car washes between home and work. Reached out to customer service got VM. Maybe he goal of the new app is to get members so frustrated that they cancel to shorten wait times. AutowashCarWash upgrade seems to be not going so well.

The quality of the wash is ok… if you can get one. Most of the time from 3pm to 8 pm, all day Saturday and Sunday you can expect to wait in line for 30 minutes to an hour. Each wast takes 10 minutes any there are always cars waiting and usually one of the three wash bays are out of order. Seriously don’t waste you time or money to wait in a long time to wash your car. If you have any issues their customer service might call you back the next day. Their only resolution to any problem is to offer you a free wash to use sometime on the next month…. But you are already paying for a monthly subscription. Canceling was a pain because you have to call their customer service, no one will answer and they might call you back one time. I wasted hours in line at multiple locations and often would go and see 8 to 10 cars in line and not have an hour to wait.

For the most part AutowashCarWash is great except for when you go to pay to re instate your monthly package and you pay with a credit card and it takes the money out of your account immediately but then when you go back to AutowashCarWash it continues to say you have not paid it’s been 4 days now and it’s still saying I haven’t paid and I did this is the 3rd time this has happened to me although the awesome employees let me get a wash using there phone app wich is super nice I wish my app would work since my payment was made 4 days agao and immediately money was taken from my account please fix this issue asap it’s very frustrating and makes me feel like I’m a liar trying to get a free wash when I pull up AutowashCarWash to the employee for my car wash and once again it says I have not paid and I have and they took my money immediately very frustrating please fix this issue asap thanks

I am continually impressed at how well your car wash works. Even when the car is filthy as the snow melts on the road. The one thing that could make the whole experience better would be a camera tied into AutowashCarWash so a person could see how long the line is and decide whether to go and wait in line. Instead of driving all the way there to find out that you have a half hour wait, but you don’t have the ability to spend that much time. If not a camera, maybe there is another way to have AutowashCarWash track and update the wait time. That capability would be a beautiful thing🤩

I think AutowashCarWash works great. I like the fact that is not washed level specific so I can get any wash that I want for the day. I also like the fact that with my membership I can get a free detail at their detailing facility. I enjoy the fact that they’re hand prepping the back of my car at the tunnel wash because usually I get a little strip of dirt down the middle at other tunnel washes👍. I like with the membership I get codes for vacuums and for dog washes. I really feel like I’m getting my moneys worth, especially when I hear about the products that they use like a ceramic coat on your car and other things.😇🚙

Great, for the most part. I do love Autowash and the membership. AutowashCarWash always works well for me. Never have any issues getting my codes and it was easy to set everything up.

The only annoyance is the odd decision to send pointless notification spam about things like “acid rain” and “wildfires”… Notifications disabled for AutowashCarWash and were back to all good!

As others have said, the new app is not good at all. Keeps logging me out and have to login (with poor signal) while others waiting behind. Having to install a new app instead of updating already installed app also shows poor development practice.

Account can only be used on one phone but Q&A says can wash multiple cars as long as one wash a day. Can’t even log out of one to use the other without waiting a month. Having one subscription for both cars is why we went with Autowash, guess it’s time to start looking elsewhere.

Car washes are popping up like crazy in CO so shouldn't be hard to find a better solution.

This company’s equipment malfunctions constantly. Having to wait in a long line just to have the equipment malfunction and not get the wash you pay for is a huge waste of time and money. They don’t care about retaining customers. This business has grown too fast and they can’t deliver the services the customers are paying for. Basically a scam at this point. Also had a detail done a year ago and they advertised “paint correction” which was not actually done even though it was in their description of what would be done with the detail package I purchased. Once again, SCAM.

AutowashCarWash is pretty flawless and doesn’t lag much. The design that went into parts like the arcade and deals are simple yet satisfying to look at. The free first wash is also a great campaign to get customers to come back!

This is a very helpful app that was developed and designed extremely well. Thanks for making this, it helps a lot with my family’s occasional wash!

This is a great car wash. Although I would like to see the undercarriage wash last a few seconds longer. It is hard to get the full length of the vehicle washed as it seems the time has been shortened.

I love washing my vehicle and every single time I visit any location it turns my day around.
The amenities and all of the time you get and perks with the membership is unreal.. I would think I was being scammed if it weren’t true.

I love AutowashCarWash in theory, but it never works at the northfield location, and you can’t get ahold of anyone in cs on the number they leave while you’re there. So, you either leave after waiting in line bc AutowashCarWash never loaded or you pay 22 for a wash even though you already pay the 35/month. If AutowashCarWash loaded, or they got Wi-Fi at the northfield location that worked for when AutowashCarWash needs updates, then it would be another story.

AutowashCarWash doesn’t confirm anything with you, if you click the wrong thing it take it right away. If you try to click the correct thing after it ends your wash and then you have to pay more money to clean your car after not receiving a wash in the first place. Terrible app already wasted multiple washes and haven’t cleaned my car once. AutowashCarWash also doesn’t offer any information about the choices your selecting like how long the self service car wash is available after starting it.

When it stops raining I’ll see how the self serve wash works on my WRX. I’ll come back and update my rating based on the results. Crossing my fingers it won’t take 30 seconds to get the different sprays flowing each time. Hard to accomplish but I've seen it done! Stay tuned…

Cell service is bad at my main location so it takes time for AutowashCarWash to load.

I often have to re-sign in which is a pain if I want to do a quick wash and have to wait for AutowashCarWash to load.

If you push stop you have to also push 1 to remove time. I have had several free washes because people don’t do that.

Went to wash car, found out there was a new app and couldn’t update without being on wifi so had to go home. Downloading new app, even though my account is active it makes you verify email. But there is no link in email to verify. Got on my laptop to explore further, sure enough no email. Either gross incompetence by developers, but starting to feel scammy that this happens two days after I was billed so if I cancel now i’m still out almost a month of wash

App has all their locations which is great but I want to sign up for a monthly membership. For some reason it’s very difficult to find the membership options and actually sign up. It says click on the “become a member” link on the home page. I’ve also tried “manage membership.”

I love love love coming to AUTOWASH! I actually look forward to it! I had to get a membership because I was coming a few days a week! You have the option of using the automatic wash or you can wash your car yourself in the self wash bays.

I’ve been stuck in the car wash with a soapy car, it’s often out of service and the cancel button in AutowashCarWash takes you to a phone number that goes to voicemail. Tried calling several times during posted hours and it just goes to voicemail. The lines at the three closest locations are always long and you don’t know if it will work when it’s your turn.

I don’t typically type reviews, but I am getting sick and tired of the lack of service. There’s no way to reach out and contact anybody from the car wash on AutowashCarWash . Therefore, I’m writing a review, for the last six months every time I roll up to the car wash one or more bays are closed for maintenance and there are long lines. It’s taking me more than 45 minutes at times to get through the wash. This is just not acceptable as a car wash it. Take a few minutes before you’re on your way. why would I continue to pay a monthly membership fee when I can go down and pay five dollars at the gas station and be done in minutes. So frustrating. There’s a new wash coming in down the street which I will be moving to.

AutowashCarWash has not been updated to include the new highest level selection available . AutowashCarWash is frequently updated without a text notification, so you drive to the Wash with an inoperable Premium Membership and realize that you should have updated at home because there isn’t Wi-Fi on site to upload. I have lost many washes of my Premium Membership because of this poor customer service. I have told them several times that I don’t want a “free”Wash I want this fixed.

I downloaded AutowashCarWash to use the vacuum and in the instructions it says to just hit vacuum in AutowashCarWash but couldn’t find it anywhere. Initially when you sign up too, it asks for email or phone number but then it asks you for all your information again in the next screen. Why do you need so much info for a car wash?? And also the actual car wash bay is an actual scam cause the rinse still sprays soap with the water so you’re not able to wash all the soap off and end up with a $16 car wash. And there’s no option to pay cash. The people need to know.

What can I say?! This has got to be “dad’s” dream - not only a successful car wash owner, but also a Franchisor. Sorry for the tough criticism from a few months back, Pops. Or am I? Seems you took heed so that’s a good thing for everyone under 70… that is, everyone that can still wash their own car. Bah! I’m gonna get beat with a cane. Okay, in all seriousness, AutowashCarWash is much better, didn’t have to tweak it much now did ya? A much smoother platform - thank you.

I’d KILL to be a franchisee of an Autowash someday. Honestly. Got any grants?

To provide. I’ve gotten to the wash more than once, discovered one or two bays are out of service, and wait times over 20 mins as a result. Great app and car wash service otherwise. Will be a customer for years to come.

Can’t open AutowashCarWash and rarely even getting anything of the spin wheel and they change my membership and everything about it without any notice or anything I have to go the car wash and get told that .. what a great way to find out
