It’s a good app. Yet it has flaws and is plagued by ads. Ads is a big deal for MangaReader. Bookmark a manga, ad, start reading ad, next chapter ad. You don’t even have to read the chapter. You can start reading and after the first ad instantly push next chapter and get an ad. This makes it hard to find out which chapter you left off on, since MangaReader sometimes deletes your progress. It also has memory issues. After a couple chapters it can no longer load the chapter. Just a black screen. To fix this you just need to close MangaReader and restart it. Though that means when you try to resume what you are reading another ad. It also randomly crashes and sends you to the Lock Screen on your phone. MangaReader used to be much better. Now it feels more annoying then decent so 2 stars from me. Hopefully the devs fix these issues and at least make it more user friendly.

It’s a good app, but I’ve run into some problems. So this has been happening to me 3 times for the past year and it’s so annoying. When u try to open MangaReader it’ll show me and ad like normal so I just click out of it, but it doesn’t show me the recently added page nor any other mangas/ donghuas/ manhuas/ etc. The next day it’s still the same. I have to wait for a whole week to wait. This happened to me last week and it only opened yesterday. I’m trying to open it again, but it’s doing the same thing. Please fix it! Only when you have time though.

I like MangaReader because it has so many up to date mangas but what it has more of is adds. Adds plague MangaReader. *Open app* ADD. *favorite manga* ADD. *Open chapter*… ADD! Sometimes there will even be two adds in a row. After each chapter you get a 5-10 second add. Some might say,”Well that’s not to bad, you’re just being over dramatic and impatient.” Well let me tell you something person, after a while of getting adds after every touch of the gosh darn screen it gets annoying! The adds are like a misquito who keeps coming back even after you swat it away, but not just that he brings a friend. Anyway they do have a wide variety of genres which is a plus.

To start, MangaReader is amazing as it is the first one to have a decent ui and wide selection for free (minimal ads). Right now I am reading Tokyo Ghoul and everything works as intended. However, when I went to look at a different manga like demon slayer, I was getting 404 errors on all of the pages for every chapter. I am not sure if this is something on my end but there is no way to submit a bug report so I am doing it through this. I hope that this can get resolved because it will help MangaReader tremendously.

Definitely one of the best free manga apps, pretty good UI and a vast selection with it being updated all the time. Never found anything like this anywhere else. Excess of ads though, which is completely fine as it’s all free. However, adding a subscription option to get rid of ads would be fantastic and I know I wouldn’t be the only one to buy one.

I loved her MangaReader it was amazing you could choose 1000 different types of stories until just a few days ago when it decided to I guess crash and now it doesn’t even load I have reported the issue multiple times still no response I am very sad about this and hope they fix this soon or I will have to delete MangaReader for it takes up too much space if it’s not in use I really hope they fix the problem soon because it was a really great app you only had one add in between each chapter and I’m OK with that because the stories were awesome

MangaReader is good and have great genre’s but MangaReader has a lot of ads I had MangaReader when it only had one ad after every 2 chapters now it has ads when u favorite a manga and every time before you read a chapter I was alright with this at first but now it’s just annoying and frustrating I haven’t been on MangaReader for a while cause of all the ads it’s ok to put ads but this is just to much I thought I had found I really good app to read on but it changed for the worse MangaReader was one of my favorites but not so much now.

MangaReader seems really promising but the adds makes it unenjoyable. There’s an ad around every corner I’ll be willing to purchase a no ad upgrade. Which I hope you’ll consider doing. Again MangaReader seems very promising with the wide selection but please consider making and purchasable, ad remover for MangaReader . :)

MangaReader used to be my favorite. I could read manga any time of the day for free without WiFi. But now. I can’t even get through two pages before it glitching me back to the Lock Screen of my phone. Or having a manga be so poorly peiced together that it’s both out of order and overlapping. Making the manga often unreadable. Advertizing Banners often cover content as well. I’ve been here since mangaZone! So please. Please fix this awesome app. I’m saddened to see it in such disrepair

I liked MangaReader a lot, then the updates were just to add an ad ticker & pop up ads. You already had ads every two pages but that wasn’t enough? You have no option to pay for a non ad version either. If it was $0.99 for ad free or $1.99 for an free version I would gladly pay. But now that you’ve added three times the ads there’s absolutely no reason to use this. Each page a pop up ad is outrageous, the only use MangaReader is for is new titles of webtoons

Love MangaReader course I think the source is mangahub and MangaMan but I’m tired of scroling and searching my manga even though I hit favorites can we have at least one manga that doesn’t have ads and has a complete setting bar under the screen were it can show my favorite and etc please

I’ve been looking for an app that lets me read berserk and have all the current chapters available and not unorganized and free after manga bird left MangaReader Store and MangaReader is the best one out here.

Only down side is there should be an area or section were it shows your favorites

I love MangaReader but I think it would be better by add a place so you can go back to that page instead of having to go back with adds and stuff it would make it easier to go back to the fave chapter or page.

The manga “Under The Oak Tree” has to different languages written over each other. Some other mangas have two different languages written as well. Other than that MangaReader works well I just need that fixed cause then I can’t read it or it’s just to difficult to read.

This was my go to app for manga the ads didn’t bother me due to it happening often from my apps online. But as of lately for the past two weeks every time I enter MangaReader I’m stuck at the loading screen. The apps updated my phones updated I power my phone on and off I did every trick in the book so why is it not working anymore 😢 please fix it I don’t even remember what chapters I was at and some names I didn’t get for Mangas I just started reading.

Hello! this is definitely one of the greatest app there is but, can you make it so that we can see which manga’s in our bookmark has updated? it’s kinda hassle to check every single bookmark to find which one is already updated! still thanks

I’m not sure what’s happening It says I need to update MangaReader , but every time I try to update it, it won’t let me. MangaReader first of all is great I can find mangas and manhwas I’d like to read easily. This is a great app, but I’m not sure if I reinstall it it’ll lose all the bookmarks I’ve put...

This is a good app, I use MangaReader to read almost everyday but there should show when it’s updated from your favorite bar, sometimes when I read there’s always blank page which is weird. Then everytime you press a next then another there’s an ad, then if you want to go to a different manga to read then sometimes shows ad too. So Yeaa :/

This works great when it actually loads but recently they added two ads that pop up as soon as you open MangaReader and there is absolutely no way to close them. There is a fake x in the upper right that is half covered by the battery icon. If you choose MangaReader and reopen it then the same or similar ad repeats. I've had to mainly switch to internet manga for the past few weeks.

I love the reader and I don't mind the ads... But there's this one for Vick's that won't even let me close it out. Alot of times I'm not even to actually get through to the main page. Please, please, please fix it.

It was kind of annoying to switch and all previous chapters were gone so I don’t even know what I have and haven’t read. But it is a really good app :D 👍 they also added freaking adds so that goes down another star. ☹️

Was just wondering when MangaReader will start working

I just downloaded it and it doesn’t load anything

MangaReader is not opening for use. I would like to go back to reading my manga as soon as possible.

I can’t even get to the Home Screen it’s just blank

It’s too slow to load in

Every time I click on MangaReader , it just shows a white screen with the logo at the bottom, and it doesn’t let me do anything.
