Summary of Amiko Problems 🔥

- On the first walk, the app stopped tracking and only recorded 1/3 of the walk

- No daily/weekly total for tracking dog's exercise

My maps won't load and it's just the blue circle endlessly cycling until my phone is connected to wifi. It completely renders the app unusable until I can connect back at home.

I like the statistics that the app provides. It would be nice to also have AVERAGE walk distance and AVERAGE walk time per month. And, to have the option to view statistics per week instead of just per month.

How to fix Amiko app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Amiko app on iPhone
Update Amiko app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Amiko iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Amiko on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Amiko network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Amiko Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Amiko not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Amiko App
1. On android, goto Settings » Amiko » click [Force Stop]

Update Amiko to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Amiko App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Amiko » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Amiko.

Fix Amiko unable to contact server/ Amiko internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Amiko » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Amiko » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Amiko
