Seems like a toy set up for the purpose of collecting UFO reports for the company. The available information on sightings only gives the option of sorting by date, not location. I’m also uncomfortable with what data is collected by Enigma and how it might be used by 3rd parties. Deleted it after a few minutes of disappointment.

Email sign up/in is long broken. I tried Enigma months ago but couldn’t get registered. I use iCloud Hide My Email for privacy, and do not have any deliverability issues on my end (I regularly do end-to-end testing in the email space, so I certainly determined it’s not an issue on my end).

I also have no reason to trust the owners & operators of this shady LLC — Enigma requires personal data, but we have no idea who exactly we are entrusting with our personal data. A “low profile” team with unnamed investors, as stated on their website, just isn’t at all an appropriate exchange for our personal data.

The fact that Enigma doesn’t work with Apple’s Hide My Email is extremely sus.

So, uninstalled again until these two critical issues are resolved. Enigma otherwise looks interesting; I just can’t use it yet.

I appreciate the functionality and unique approach of the this app app. However, I was deeply concerned to find that the map only labels Gaza and the West Bank, completely omitting Israel. This choice seems politically charged and detracts from Enigma ’s intended purpose of exploring UFO phenomena. Regardless of one’s stance on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, accurate and comprehensive geographic representation is crucial. The current map gives an impression of political bias that can alienate users looking for an unbiased platform. I hope the developers can address this to maintain Enigma ’s integrity and inclusivity.

Could be a very cool app. But—there are some big usability issues.
First, as another user stated, the “rating system” is very opaque. And… most ratings seem to be insanely low. I don’t get it.
I had to log in today, but my only options were via text (not all that comfortable giving my phone number to an app) or Apple ID— which apparently wasn’t connected to my previous account, so my own sighting is now connected to an account I can’t access.
Also, I get notifications about seeing the “top sighting” of the week or whatever, but every time I indulge, I’m always prompted to update Enigma . When I do so, I’m directed to the home page and no such “top sighting” is to be found.
The list view(this app logo/icon) on the bottom left has no way to sort by date/proximity to me/rating. So… you’ll see mostly recent sightings with like… 9 year old sightings mixed in. Maybe it’s automatically sorted by submission date (even if the sighting date was 9 years ago), but without a sort function, the list virtually useless.
Also— having the option to be notified of sightings near you would be rad.

This has incredible potential but about 3/4 times I try to use Enigma I get an error message that tells me to try again later. I haven’t even had a chance to explore Enigma. I downloaded like two days ago and have not been able to explore much of anything. Pretty disappointing. Please address the glitches. This could be really amazing.

Where are the instructions for use??? I tried to submit a report, but there was no way to upload a phone video. A different pic showed up on the submittal & no edit is possible. I tried to recall one video that was highlighted to me for further study, but cannot even find it now. There does not appear to be any search function in operation. Very frustrating!

Enigma isn’t terrible in the slightest but the AR indenting feature is badly in need of a fix. The camera will glitch out and send me back to calibrate if I pan up too high and then isn’t able to be calibrated again until I close it and then go back. This issue has been going on for a bit and it is a black mark against an otherwise good app.

Enigma seems to be fairly well polished, especially for a UFO app. It’s a far cry from the early internet UFO forums and maps. The developers seem to be on a major marketing push currently, trying to sell it at music festivals and Reddit interviews. But a few things don’t sit right with me as a user. Enigma has some glaring BIG issues for usefulness. The rating system for sighting quality has no explanation and many obvious low-quality posts seem to be highly rated. Also, users can post sightings in the FUTURE?? I’m reading posts dates to two months from now. Why not fix this?? Enigma will not catch on in a community of individuals used to being pandered and lied to if these obvious issues persist. This, along with the required entry of personal phone or email info for no apparent reason is seemingly completely unnecessary and feels like a cash grab for selling user data, with little support to actually making Enigma better. Version 1.3.0 fixed a sign-up bug that prevented users from privately signing up with “Hide My Email”, and now we can “Log in with Apple” — thanks for listening to my feedback!

I strongly suggest the organization pivot from stigma-fearing secrecy to more openly disclosing who owns, runs, and has invested in this thing. This slick app deserves a better chance at earning the public’s trust.

I like Enigma . The ability to browse sightings on the map is nice, although I wish it distinguished events you’ve already viewed from ones you haven’t. Also, it seems like I only get notifications for old sightings for some reason, never seem to get any about real-time sightings even though there have been new nearby events added since I started using Enigma . But the main issue I’m having is that every time I open Enigma , it makes me go through onboarding as if I just installed. I don’t see other reviews that mention this, so maybe it’s just my particular setup. I login using Apple but don’t hide my email address, and I only open Enigma maybe once a week or so on average. iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 17.5.1. There’s always room for improvements, but overall I appreciate what Enigma has to offer.

I have also been wondering why suddenly there’s no activity starting in late June/early July. This thing was very active and then nothing. What’s going on??

But there are some suggestions to improve user experience and functionality:
1) Improve and fix bugs at app navigation, media playback, map and common data fetching.
2) Implement customized data sorting and viewing.
3) Add watchlist for the different types of updates such as by location, type, properties etc.

Wondering why there’s been no activity since June 25th, I enjoy checking everyday because there’s usually 3-7 new posts. However there hasn’t been one since June 25th

When I click on “add” button after selecting the pictures I’m trying to upload Enigma crashes every time.

Enigma is usually great but recently its been glitching, im not sure if its the new update (from 02/11 i think) but i deleted and reinstalled and its still glitching and flashing. my girlfriend had an encounter yesterday at home and i cant get into Enigma without it glitching to report the incident.

Recent update fixed my password issue. Thank you! Digging genuine evidence for this deeply fascinating phenomenon out of the ever growing clutter of fake reports and cgi clips available online is nearly impossible. Hoping this helps somehow.

Love Enigma.. something is going on in our universe & we can finally post & share these issues. Obviously sometimes we discover what it is but for the rest….open door in learning & seeing what’s going on! Thank you, thank you!!

this app is doing what most in the UFO/UAP space had only dreamed of. Enigma runs well for a new build and I’ve been astounded by the other videos Experiencers like myself have out there. There’s also a Discord community chat. I had mistakenly thought they sent me a PTSD email follow up after my first submission but after closer inspection it was just spam.

(Update)
I received another more personal looking PTSD email again from Veterans Affairs today after updating my review. So, maybe that is a real service they’re connecting some people with? I’m not sure yet.

Just blurry or distorted images. Lights, celestial objects, speculation, and lies. Physically inmpossible to manage faster than light speed. No way for anyone outside our solar system to reach us. The "WOW" signal was cool, but only heard once.

No unique space craft has ever been seen or found.

Really cool app, you can check for UFO/UAP sightings all over the world, I just wish it would alert me when someone submits a report near me! I checked and there was a brand new report about 5 miles from me last night and if it had sent me a notification I would have ran outside. Maybe it could even throw a compass up on my screen and point me towards the area where they had the sighting so I can look the right way too! We could get multiple witnesses for all sightings if they made this change!

Just looking at the different videos in far more more love with Enigma I hope I’m fortunate enough to catch something on camera of this magnitude so I can actually see are not alone

I’m so happy there is finally an app to track anomalous sightings! We’ve needed one for a while! Enigma is helping to push disclosure and proving that these sightings aren’t only in the dessert of New Mexico or skies of Alaska. But EVERYWHERE!

True, there are a few things that needs improvement but they have fixed all the bugs ppl complained about and they take feed back seriously! I suggested something in an email and got a reply within 2 days and a thank you for the suggestion.

The simple fact they aren’t trying to make money off this proves they are in it for the right reasons. Unlike many other ufo apps out there!

Enigma has gotten better and better as time has gone by. Enjoying it more than I thought I would. Updates to come.

Scanning to find my sighting location was very difficult to scan for

5 Stars!!!!! Enigma is amazing. It allows you to search all sighting in the county that you live in and most list one; going back 100 years. It’s very user friendly. Watch videos and listen to the audio recordings posted on the site. There are so many interesting and credible accounts. Enjoy!! I’ll be online. 😊

I especially like that you can use it to identify stars and satellites and whatever you see in the sky. And if it’s unidentifiable you can easily hit the record button within Enigma , (although I’ve not needed to use that yet. I just think it’s a useful idea).
I like to read through the reports.
I think Enigma is going to become very popular.

I downloaded Enigma just a moment ago and liked it to the core, just that it keeps crashing on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. Can this be rectified please, I’m trying to uninstall and reinstall it though.

I’m in love. This is an amazing app. Solid UI and great community. The amount of footage and content provided in a single place is unheard of! Absolutely amazing, I will be revisiting Enigma often to see what other people are seeing. Enigma is just high quality and polished all around.

Giving descriptions of what they witnessed. The audio narratives are great. Of course the vast majority have obvious explanation. But then there are some that leave you going Hmmmm? We’ve needed an app like this for a looooong time.

Downloaded and been using it for a few days. Like the interface and ease of use.

One thing that would make it even better is a way to search for a city or address. If I’ve missed that function, apologies.

Plan to be using this to follow and if I see something, report.

I’m so happy and excited that Enigma exists. It’s not only incredibly interesting but incredibly important to have this information published publicly. Kudos to the creator/creators of Enigma.

As a result, the this app platform has all of the breaking news first. And! It gets better, in my view, because this app’s brand is so unique, so beautiful, so one-of-one.

I’ve been using Enigma for a few months and love spending time looking through submissions and understanding what people are seeing in the skies around me. I spend time looking at the sky at night now to see if anything UAP comes across my view. MUST DOWNLOAD!

Platforms like this app labs are crucial for collective wisdom in domains where the centralized governments of the world have been historically not only dismissive but suppressive of awareness. By distributing tools for our collective grok we make progress.

Enigma is well designed and the map is intriguing to look at sightings in the area. I would have added my sighting a couple years ago if I knew of Enigma.

I’ve been using Enigma for a while, especially after the recent hearing, I get more interested in learning about any UAP/UFO stuff! Love Enigma since it’s the most organized database I have seen compared to other UAP related digital products. This could be a trendy thing if it could get more users to share their

Will Mulder be proven right and we find out that “there’s something up there”? Maybe, maybe not, but without data, we might never know. Sure, humanity may eventually have a “3rd kind encounter” but until then, data collection and analysis are key. Which makes Enigma, and its crowdsourcing approach, so important.

I think Enigma was overdue. As the conversation has grown and changed over the last few years, we needed something of quality like Enigma so we can share and learn as a community. Enigma is intuitive and provides very interesting info.

there were no apps with organized database on UFO/UAP. was able to immediately locate a case near me, I now have new found interest!

I read complaints about collecting data, but that don’t make sense - they asks for your location to use the map and send notifications for nearby sightings. Enigma wouldn’t work without the location of your device 🤷🏽‍♂️
