I have deleted my account, and somehow this app still thinks I want to receive notifications from random AI and crypto nonsense. Leave me alone. It’s infuriating so many people use this over meetups or email.

No, I definitely deleted the account, lol. I unsubscribed and unticked the obvious boxes on every email that was sent, but they still kept coming for events I had no interest in, so I deleted the account. Things were blessedly quiet for a week or so then I got a push notification for some crypto currency event (I have never been to a crypto event) and that led me to leave this review.

The UI is amazing however when I try to search events by name I usually can’t find them

Also the areas represented are limited to major cities

It would be nice if there were more coverage for places outside of these hubs such as Long Beach (Near LA) etc

Clean, intuitive, easy to use interface. I just wish I could search for other groups or events to see what else is out there. So far, I’ve learned of Luna through groups I already know of who are using it to share their events.

I think there needs to be a more intuitive way to manage all registration statuses. I’d like to be able to remove registrants if they have already registered or put people on the waitlist. Overall it’s a great app, probably one of the best, but the lack of features and functionality makes it difficult to use at times.

Great way to find event but sometimes it’s hard to search for something I booked in the past/cancelled or my conversations.

Would love to have notes if I attended event too and be notified future if I like something. Recommendations can be more specific.

this app is a breath of fresh air in event planning apps. Someone finally made something as convenient as Facebook groups and events, but now your friends who reject Facebook, can join or administer too.
Also, the metrics for event hosting our seriously world class, they are high-quality, valuable, easy to understand, be fitting and ads company, but delightful for casual to professional to paid event hosting.
I don’t write many reviews, this is one.

Stop sleeping on this app ... if you’re looking to host events online or build your business this app is where it’s at. I host all my events on this app and can’t say enough good things.

So refreshing to have a new platform for managing events. So much better than Eventbrite or anything else out there.

Definitely a big fan of having all my (mostly) tech events in one place!

Enjoy using this for events, would like to have an option in Luma to “save” events for me to go back to.

Luma feels its going to be big for the world. It makes event finding and event hosting so beautiful ( or delightful as they say). Very interesting. And it offers events based on preference. I’ve been in awe of Luma since I started using it. Great job to founders and its creators. Merci

Exactly the way an events app should work! Works much better and more consistently than other similar apps.

I was lucky enough to discover Lumis early on and it’s been a TOTAL game changer. There’s honestly nothing like it, and I’ve tried literally every option out there!! Since using Lumis, I’ve grown my community 5x and have been able to quadruple my earnings compared to the year prior. Lumis has literally changed my life and it can for you too!!

Well organized and mostly easy to work with. Really wish there was an easy way to add events directly to the calendar without needing to open the event on the web to have that option.

Been using this app for years and it’s consistently reliable. Makes it easy for both organizers and attendees. Events get immediately added to our calendar, creating the event page is easy. Inviting past guests is easy. Plus there’s analytics and custom urls. It’s just better than the rest.

Hard to put into words how much better the hosting experience is on this app vs whatever you were doing before—-it just works. Seamlessly, delightfully.

Event creation, communicating with everyone who’s coming, doing check-in if you’re doing that…everything! They rock

The events on this app are high quality and I think they’re thoroughly vetted from feed and experience. I believe that Luma could be more user friendly, as there’s no search function. Other than that, Luma has blown up over night, and it’s one of my go-to’s.

I’ve been running events across the US for more than 15 years — everything from highly complex multi-day sportifs to intimate company retreats. So happy that I found this app, which offers a delightful user interface and terrific functionality without being too complex or clunky. Very happy with this latest app refresh and excited to put it to use soon!

As an attendee and host of many events, this app has quickly become my favorite events management app.
