So when the lights came in I was so excited everything was working fine and then when I was playing with the remote I hit the DIY 1 button and it all went south from there I hit 3 Colors that I really liked but when I tried to change it to something else it would not let me do any other color I am telling you this because you have to buy a product in order to have Keepsmile so if you get LED lights like i did DO NOT HIT THE DIY BUTTON 😬😬😬😬😬😬 I was really upset that I couldn’t do anything about and till this day I can only get 3 colors but besides that the lights are grate quality I’m just really upset that I couldn’t have any options to fix the three color thing I guess I should get a new remote idk🙃🙃🙃.

** UPDATE** Keepsmile issue has been resolved and I was able to register my daughter’s lights! She having a great time playing around and learning how to use it! Much better and easier to use than the remote! Thank you! (Updated rating from 2 stars to 5 stars since app issues resolved!) I installed this light strips in my daughter’s room and they look amazing. We downloaded Keepsmile but it will not let us register (it keeps saying network abnormal) over WiFi or cellular. Very disappointed. If Keepsmile issue could be resolved, I could give this a 5 star review for sure!

Ok so these lights are amazing and they work great but how do you add your own music when I downloaded Keepsmile it gave me three already chosen songs and I know you can add Apple Music but I also want it to connect to another music app I’m using and it just wouldn’t work I tried to add more in Keepsmile but it was just those three songs so the only way I have to play songs I ACTUALLY like is with the microphone but if you added a +songs button or setting that would be great but otherwise Keepsmile works really good with my led lights. Okay so I got a response to my last which was great. But how could you do it without windows or Mac? Is there any other way?

So I used my led remote 2 days ago and i got these leds about 3 months ago, worked perfect. But they just stopped working, not the leds, the remote. I don’t know if i did something, so i downloaded Keepsmile because my less were still on, and i thought it would work but i went to device management and no device popped up, and when it did it didn’t work, i did bluetooth and connected it didn’t work.. so i deleted led lights from it, and did it again nothing happened. Please help! i want them to work!

These lights and Keepsmile work perfectly and are so cool!! They really make my room into a super fun space. However, my only wish is that there was more personalization/customization available within Keepsmile ! It would be really neat if you could “create your own scene” under the scene section of Keepsmile and select your own custom colors for the lights to cycle through (for example, if I wanted my lights to cycle through red, pink, orange, and yellow, then I could select those colors and save it as a preset). Maybe in a future app update, this could be a function that is added… Other than that, this product is awesome and affordable :)

I saw in a lot of the reviews that people were reviewing what they purchased instead of Keepsmile . I don’t think they quite got what this was meant for lol. I really like Keepsmile obviously it wasn’t designed by Jeff Bezos but it’s a pretty nice app. It gives more options that the remote doesn’t which is nice I like to turn on pulsating mode and I like to do the cyan color. Obviously it’s not always convenient to open your phone and get to Keepsmile it’s easier to just use the remote but I like to use the timer so I don’t have to actually get up you know. All in all I just think it’s a pretty good app that I will use frequently.

Edit: Thanks to the developer comment I see there is a way to control each lamp individually so I’m updating my review. This is a good app that makes it really easy to control the brightness and color of the light. I really appreciate that Keepsmile continues to get updated and the developers are quick to respond to reviews.

Previous review: I love this lamp so I got another one for my room. I’m confused because there doesn’t seem to be any way to control one at a time. Anything I change just changes both.

I have been faced with the problem of not being able to dim the lights, when ever I’m on Keepsmile and try to change the colors on the color wheel, it stays between the red and blue range. And when I click the off button on Keepsmile the lights turn red not off. I have tried unplugging, forgetting the device, looking for a faulty wire or something, but nothing. I was wondering what should I do. Also a whole few feet of lights is completely off and broken and about a foot of lights colors are off for instance when lights are red the strip in the broken section will be red. Any fixes or should I contact the company directly??

I am trying to use the timer but it will not let me adjust the times that I want them on or off. I think it’s a great idea just needs to be expanded on. A idea that I had is almost like a alarm clock without the sound. I know personally I am half asleep when I need to get up and if the lights just turned on to a certain color I would wake up. But other than that the lights are great and make my room SOOOOO much cooler. If there is a future update I think the side futures should be worked on.

When I first got my LEDs I was skeptical that Keepsmile would not work and then I learned it’s actually really simple to use. And you always just have to keep your Bluetooth on before trying to change the color or turning them on. Otherwise it’ll take a minute having to reconnect them. This is a really good app and it should be tried no matter what others say you just have to try it out for yourself. Really love Keepsmile keep up the good work ☺️

Okay, i usually don’t do reviews but i decided to this time because Keepsmile is so useful! When i don’t feel like moving at all or can’t find my LED controller, all i have to do is control it on my phone. It is also so so so much more easier to make colors. It had cool effects you can use like strobing lights but i don’t know who would want to use it lol. I just wish there was an option to search up your own music not just Keepsmile . But otherwise it’s great

The lights are really nice in my opinion. I just put them up today and I have had no problems with them. Keepsmile however has not been the greatest. The rating I gave was for Keepsmile not the lights. I got the LED lights and I scanned the thing from the box that brought me to Keepsmile. I would like to choose my own music to play but I am not sure how the only music it lets me listen to are 3 songs two are by allen walker and idk the last one. Keepsmile is not the greatest and I wish the color chart was different but it’s ok. My main only complaint is the music section. The lights are great though and work fine for me.

I just got these lights for Christmas and thought to pair with Keepsmile once set up. Starting off with the lights, the distance between them on the LED lights is too far, making it not that bright. Also the remote had to be super close to work. With Keepsmile , it won’t even let me make an account. It just says network unable. I have tried different WiFi and cellular but it just won’t work. So, I tried going to the website for support and the email does not work. The phone number is in china so it is expensive to call. And none of the buttons on the site work. It is practically useless. Would not recommend to anyone.

The LED lights are amazing and so,so,so vibrant! But when it comes to the features Keepsmile SHOULD support it is lacking. The microphone doesn’t pick up much sound, which is probably my fault, but the music feature is most likely not. I have been trying to Import music from Apple Music for a while now, but I have no idea how! I allowed access for the this app app to my Apple Music, but I have seen no import button anywhere! I hope you can help :)

Keepsmile works pretty good but I would enjoy it a lot more if I could connect my music to the lights off of my Apple Music account. I really don’t want to listen to just three songs that sync to my lights and would really appreciate being able to sync my music. That was actually one of the main reasons I got this particular strip was because I thought I could sync it to my music. If that could be fixed I would enjoy it a lot more thank you! I really do love the lights though!

The music setting shows one song and nothing else no matter what I do and won't even play the one song it shows I would also like more customizable flashing capabilities then just the ones given like to choose specifically what shade of color you want it to flash and where it should flash at on the lights and more patterns for the flashing and how it flashes would be useful besides that I enjoy everything else

I absolutely LOVE my lights !! Sadly though, after about two months my lights just got a mind of there own. Any time I turn them on they flicker red even though I clearly chose a different color😬 They won’t turn off even though it says it’s turned off. I tried restarting them and unplugging them but it never worked ! I just don’t know what to do still and I can’t decide if want to keep and wait for them or just toss them.

i bought the led strips for my room and it started out great with no problems but after a few months Keepsmile stopped working. It says i have no devices and no matter what i try it won’t work. one of the main reasons i bought these was because of Keepsmile so it’s a bummer that it doesn’t work. I trued to google how to fix this but all i could find was to call the number on the paper they gave but i threw that away when i got it. i wish they had a website or something to make contact easier.

I got the led strips and I mean sure they look fine. I don’t really recommend them if you will actually see the leds though, as they aren’t too bright and the spacing is pretty far. As far as Keepsmile , I think there could be a lot more features. Idk if this is possible on these leds but if there was some way to light up different lights eight different colors at the same time that would be good. Also the color isn’t very consistent as it runs down the like it gets noticeably dimmer to the point it changes a light orange to dark orange.

So I was putting up my led lights and I saw this thing on Pinterest it was like how to make peach cooler with led lights so I watch tutorial and I went to try it it would not work so I watch the tutorial while trying it the RGB arrow buttons on the remote won’t work and I found that out when I already put them up but if I go onto Keepsmile I can do the RGB stuff on it but I have a screen time so when I go to bed I can’t use the this app app so when I got to bed the RGB arrows won’t work and the diy buttons how do I diy????

Overall this is a really cool and nice LED set but the only thing I feel like would make it better was being able to choose your own music and choosing which colors can flash for example at least three colors going at once to make it a bit more free style otherwise everything else is really good I’ve had no issues with this product yet -Kaylie

Dont trust the 2 and 3 star reviews. Other reviewers must have downloaded the wrong app for their lights. If you buy the lights it tells you which app to download. They connected right away with no issues. Makes syncing them with music super easy!

Great brand and the light strips were very easy to set up, but when I went to go test them again my lights won’t change to any color except for blue. I’ve tried Keepsmile and remote but neither would work and this is my first time owning a set of light strips. I’ve even tried to rest them.

So far the everything with the lights have been great. i just downloaded Keepsmile and i’ve been confused on how to connect my lights to my phone it’s rather confusing. It could help if there would be a tutorial on Keepsmile :)) much love!

I have downloaded the right app and it still does not change color. Its connecting on bluetooth and that works but it still does not change color.

while the lights work perfect and Keepsmile is a really good way to connect to them and make them change colors, i for some reason cant seem to get the color blue to work or purple and some other colors.

Make sure to turn on bluetooth and connect to the led strips on the settings app. it should work then once you go back in Keepsmile

I was super excited to sync my music but was upset when I couldn’t. I used the instructions found in the FAQ and used my Mac and I still couldn’t do it. I don’t know how to add songs to the queue in Keepsmile .

I have had no problem with Keepsmile at all. One thing that I do not particularly like is the lights does not sync with my personal music but only the music already on Keepsmile .

In the light strips you can not add your know music and in Keepsmile there is no way to put your own other than that it is pretty good I’m on an iPhone an can not add my own music

Worked well and needed no setup. Not sure what other users had an issue with tbh

Everything is good on Keepsmile but I don’t know how to change the music to be my music and not what’s on Keepsmile

I have tried so many apps and this one doesn’t work!!

The problem is that it won’t let me change the music options.
