So I decided to get a membership to try to learn more about how to play guitar so I got rock smith plus now I do have to admit getting a cord that wasn’t made by you. I was my mistake so I decided to use RocksmithTuner but for some reason it will not connect no matter what I do and I can never get past step 2(connect) so I’m just wondering can I please get a refund for my membership please

When I open RocksmithTuner it says they need microphone access. I press the button that takes me to settings but there’s nowhere under Rocksmith to enable the microphone. When I go into the main microphone setting I’m Setting, Rocksmith does not appear there either to toggle on/off.

I bought a year subscription to Rocksmith + and it is not 2014. That game was awesome. This is a disaster. And they are relying on people to custom create and they are not checking. Every song I tried… not the right notes, not the right chords. All wrong.

Developer reply is reach out to us… I did. And they told me sorry, no refund. I’m telling you RS2014 is a great tool to learn. This is TRASH.

RocksmithTuner won’t let me do much of anything. A pop up keeps appearing with a Network Error, which states that I am not connected to wifi. Prior to this update, since RocksmithTuner ’s first release, I have been able to use RS+ on a cellular network. I am using the latest version of your app on an iPhone XS Max with iOS 14.6.

Please make it possible to use the RS+ app with a cellular network — some people don’t have home wifi while others will want to use your app on the go (ie: at the park, etc.) where there won’t be a wifi signal. Cellular networks are able to provide enough bandwidth to have a great experience. I stream large video files, as well as use data-rich apps like Yousician and Gibson, etc. without any lagging and/or other issues whatsoever on the T-Mobile 4g network.

I am hoping this is merely a bug or a coding error/oversight being that the RS+ settings menu has a mode that seems offers the option of using less data. I hope you will fix this issue ASAP because RocksmithTuner is essentially not able to do anything anymore — including tuning my guitar. If you don’t fix the wifi requirement, like many other people globally, I will have no way to use the RS+ lessons being that I don’t have wifi/broadband at home and only have access to 4g mobile data.

This was the best app for fine tuning until the most recent iOS update. I can no longer enable microphone access.

No idea how this shows up as a 5 star app with so many negative views noting RocksmithTuner cannot connect to the internet or Rocksmith servers. I’ve tried several times over months, and this simply does not work as advertised or allow you to play the game.

I downloaded this some time ago and forgot why I deleted it. Today, I wanted to try RockSmith+ on PC. Lo and behold, only 7 and up iPhones work. Even though I have a compatible firmware to download it. What a waste of time.

So when I got RocksmithTuner I was soooo excited! Bc I was ready to tune to drop b so I can finally play king for a day! So I logged on and… RocksmithTuner isn’t supported at the moment. Now I’m really disappointed because I had all my hopes up and just really let me down. Guess I should give up on apps and just buy a tuner:(

I doubt this review will change much, and I’m not sure if you guys can do anything about it (or care to), but the audio pickup from RocksmithTuner is awful. I can be honest with myself when I miss a certain note, but when they’re open strings and my guitar is perfectly tuned it’s easy to see how downright bad RocksmithTuner is at registering your notes. It’s frustrating as someone who wants to learn guitar because I want to get accurate feedback on what I’m actually missing and am not, plus it’s just distracting when I see a miss on something I know I didn’t miss. Other than this, the service is fine, but don’t count on accurate pick up if you’re on acoustic. Also was in a perfectly quiet room with no noise, and wore headphones to prevent the sound from polluting RocksmithTuner , and retuned my guitar, nothing works.

I’ve been playing rocksmith 2014 remastered for about a month now and loving it. I saw the reviews and hoped this was going to fill the void of missing a good tuner to be able to do standard e a440 and even drop down low for stuff like korn, trivium and more.
The electric guitar through amp seemed to work okay but was missing out occasionally as if the mic sensitivity was to low. I then pulled out my Martin acoustic to give it another shot. Well…it failed miserably. Setting literally a foot away with the Martin right in front of iPad Pro and little to no back ground noise, RocksmithTuner simply failed to pic up most of the time. I even more aggressively played louder and it would not pick up the bottom 3 strings. I turned the iPad mic right at my Martin and tried making several adjustments.
I’m hoping the devs fix the issues and improve RocksmithTuner. I’m really looking forward to rocksmith +connect as my family is constantly going out to parks and areas that I then take an acoustic and play. For now I am returning to Yousician tuner as it’s the best I’ve been able to find.

Using RocksmithTuner as a tuner so far. It does a decent job. Fairly easy to use.

The updated version is fast and accurate. Great value for a free app!

Been using Guitar Tuna. This one is easier to use. Super accurate. Alternate tunings a big plus. And this tuner doesn’t ask you for money.

I’m new to playing bass and found RocksmithTuner to be super easy to use.

Ok so I’ve played rocksmith for a wile now and when they announced rocksmith+ I was all on board. I love how many tunings are in RocksmithTuner. I haven’t had a chance to try the beta because my pc is trash and can’t run standard rocksmith so I’m not even gonna sign up until I get a better pc or you release it on another platform. Also it seems like you’re gonna put the full game on mobile at some point so that will be amazing.

Came across this after reading a good review online. Will probably try their guitar learning app as well

This has been super intuitive and gives the the exact same reads as my Peterson stroboclip. honestly wish I had found this earlier bc I always have my phone on me so don’t need a separate tuner. seems like some of the other reviews mention connection issues. I’m running it on iPhone 14 with iOS 16 and haven’t had any problems (as of May 2023)
