Tuner & Metronome -Soundcorset Reviews

Soundcorset has a great tuner and metronome. I love how I’m able to customize the timing with triplets and sixteenth notes, something my original metronome never did. Another thing I love is how TunerMetronome tracks my practice time, and I can see how my practice habits are doing compared to months ago, or even years ago. Plus, that helps me stay motivated to practice almost every day. The only issue I have with TunerMetronome is that when tracking my practice time, the date is wrong. For example, today is Thursday April 23rd, and on my square of practice time for today it states that the date is Wednesday April 21st. I’m not sure if there’s a way to fix that, but if anyone knows, please let me know! Overall, I think Soundcorset is a good app to use and I would recommend it!

Below was my review, but now when I am using TunerMetronome , tuner or metronome, the video thing shows up on my iPhone in iOS 9, and sometimes plays a long note and sometimes doesn't play anything, but it is really annoying because it interrupts my practice. It will also crash every 10 seconds (and I mean every 10 seconds). Could you please fix this? With it fixed, my review below is totally correct. And is anyone else having this problem?

I love TunerMetronome . It has both a tuner and a metronome, so I only have to have one app. It's very accurate, and I tried out a lot of apps before this one. I like this one the best. It works for all instruments, even though when you go to tune there is a guitar symbol. I highly recommend it.

By the way, my nickname says "the viola > all the others." I clearly play viola. 😂

I love TunerMetronome because it is the best free metronome and tuner I can find, but there is a problem when sharing recordings. When I click the share button it says "Soundcorset ID required" and tries to get me to log in. When I try to log in, I cannot click on anything, even the back button. It is very important that I have this button because of online band assignments.

Most tuning apps I looking at were for guitars or you had to pay for them, but this one works for me and I’m sure it will work for you as well. I was really happy with TunerMetronome it puts my instrument in tune right away. It is very easy to use and figure out. It is an amazing app better than all the other tuning apps, and I really recommend it. I was really satisfied with TunerMetronome, and it made me happy I could find an app that works. This is a great app!!!

TunerMetronome is great I use it often but for some odd reason it glitches sometimes I go on it and it glitches off. Besides that if you play an instrument like me it is great you can record songs and listen to it again and then fix what you got wrong. And if you want to go at a slower tempo it will let you. It also has tuner so you can see if you are in tune. And if you are in choir then It has choir notes to. Great app I love it 😃

I am a trumpet player in highschool marching band and I have been looking for a good tuner/metronome for when I play. TunerMetronome works great but the only thing that I don’t like is that it won’t tell you if it’s bass clef or treble. It also has very few sheet music to choose from, it would be nice to have a little bit more. Overall this is a great little app to use for band/orchestra!

TunerMetronome is a staple on my phone for when I’m practicing or leading a rehearsal. It has everything that I need, a good metronome, a tuner that transposes the pitch since I play a Bb instrument, and I find it incredibly useful to record myself with the metronome so I can listen and find my mistakes. I love TunerMetronome and on top of all of its many uses, it doesn’t take up much storage space at all! Would (and have) recommend!

I think it’s great and is very useful, but I don’t really care about the fact that it has a lot of ads. Could live without that.

When this actually works, it's really helpful... Unfortunately, that seems rare as it will freeze on one note (and call everything an f) or sometimes even not register that a note is being played. The tuning forks don't help to fix this since they will have some sort of static when I try to use them instead. Only with all these problems, it honestly should get fewer stars, three only for past performance.

Soundcorset has been perfect for my instrument practices and it's super useful. I've had it for a while, but recently the microphone stopped working?

I'm a bit perplexed on why my microphone isn't working for TunerMetronome anymore but besides that problem, TunerMetronome is perfect.

It is really useful since it has so many features. And the interface is pretty and so intuitive. There is only one thing I want more which is just intonation support. I play violin and I need just intonation tuner but I am afraid TunerMetronome is not supporting that feature. Wish the dev team add this feature someday.

I have used Sound Corset for a while now and I loved it. It’s very simple to use and I love that it comes with a metronome, a tuning fork, and sheet music.
Unfortunately, TunerMetronome has started glitching on me lately and won’t let me tune properly.
I will be deleting TunerMetronome and trying to find a new app that will be able to take its place.

TunerMetronome is pretty great, but there is an issue that has occurred recently for me. I've been using the metronome feature, but sometimes it freezes to the point where I can't press anything. I get stuck playing a certain tempo, and I have to exit out of TunerMetronome , and then open it again! Or I can't press play for the metronome. So it's iffy for me, but if that gets fixed it's a good app for musicians.

I use TunerMetronome to tune my cello and my teacher always complements me for being perfectly in tune. I only use the tuner part of TunerMetronome but it other cool features as well. I don’t know how it works for other instruments but I highly recommend it for other cellists.

This was my first time using TunerMetronome, and it was going great! I got my A string, my D string, and my G string, on my VIOLA! But I had a hard time with my C string. Once TunerMetronome said I got it, I heard a slightly quiet pop, then my C went way out of tune. I'm a mediocre player, I only know how to use the knobs, not the tuning pegs. My C string is almost a spaghetti string. Please fix this, so this won't happen to anyone else's' instrument.

it had a tuner + a metronome, which is super sick, but then the tuner started being wack. when i use the tuning fork now, the audio is corrupted and it’s impossible to tune to. the tuner itself doesn’t even pick up the note i’m tryna play anymore. if I was a Bb, it’s goes from Bb to Ab and back to Bb, but it fluctuates where the note is, like it says its 50 cents sharp but the next second its extremely flat. it’s too bad, used to be my favorite app

The tuner part if TunerMetronome is my favorite of all similar apps I’ve tried, however the metronome renders TunerMetronome unusable. Every time I get in my car, the WiFi interface triggers the metronome. Extremely annoying plus it runs my battery down. Please add a way to disable it. I don’t even need a metronome! In the meantime I’ll have to remove it and use another app for tuning.

App was fine before but now it takes forever for it to listen when I play. Delayed reaction. Broken. Useless.

TunerMetronome used to be great and still is! Considering it is free I would say that it works well and has minimal ads, my only issue is the tuner. It seems to either freeze or to jump from pitch to pitch even when I’m playing a solid continuous note. It’s a very inconvenient issue to an otherwise great application.

I play trumpet in highschool and have had just about everyone in the section download the tuner. I don’t like the interface much for the metronome but it works pretty well. The tuning is accurate. Overall good app.

This tuner is definitely the best out of 4-5 tuners that I have tried. I rarely review apps, but TunerMetronome definitely deserves the review. The tuning mechanism is detailed and works well, and I can put on a metronome in TunerMetronome , record myself (also in TunerMetronome ),and see if I am in tune at the same time! TunerMetronome also allows you to customize the rhythm on the metronome, and create your own beat. TunerMetronome even has sheet music for you, and tracks you daily practice!! I only have 2 problems with it:

1. The visual metronome completely throws you off unless you are using 4/4 time. I just stick with the regular metronome, but I feel that if you are going to have this function, then it should work properly.

2. TunerMetronome would be better if you could see if you were in tune while you listened to your recording. PLEASE CHANGE THIS!!

Overall, this was a great find! I highly recommend using this Soundcorset tuner!!!

I’m the percussion section leader and I use TunerMetronome all the time. Its perfect with all the possibilities and one of my favorite features is the practice time. Highly recommended for anyone that plays music :)!

Works very well! This is a perfect tool to enhance your musician skills! Definitely recommend this for any musician, whether you want to improve your skills or not. This is great!
