This is not a functioning app

2022-05-25

The pitch is not shown until you scream at the volume. Super annoying considering other apps do not have this problem.

Not good anymore

2022-06-26

Old version was perfect. Developers ruined it.

why did they change this app🙃

2022-07-27

i used to use PitchProTunerMetronome all the time so i could find out the notes to my songs, since i don’t have notes memorized by sound yet, but they changed PitchProTunerMetronome to where it’s more like a recording app rather than note finder, but how can i know what to record when i don’t know what notes i’m supposed to be playing :,) going to dork around with PitchProTunerMetronome for a little longer to see if i can get any other use out of it, but if your purpose for PitchProTunerMetronome was the same as mine, just don’t bother

The old version has better pitch tools

2022-08-28

The old version gave more stats and was easier to use. Glitchy and different sound quality

Aesthetically pleasing but just "eh"

2022-09-29

I love the design of PitchProTunerMetronome. It has light and dark mode and is very simplistic. However, there are some downsides.
It tends to crash. A lot. Once it didn't work for a whole day, so if it was my only means of tuning I would've been screwed.
I play harp and sometimes it's just way off. For the most part, it on point, but sometimes I would be tuning it flatter and it would show the sound getting sharper. So who knows.

I think this is much better for winds or string players, but I'm not sure. Very visually pleasing, but pretty "eh" as far as tuning apps go.

Good App, is it bassist?

2022-10-30

I’ve been using PitchProTunerMetronome for about two years and it’s really helpful. However, I’m a bass singer, and the lowest note it goes to is a C2. This kind of disappoints me, because when I’m doing different vocal techniques I want to see where I am and what notes to go after.

Notes are also harder to decipher by ear the lower you go, so sometimes when I’m singing B0 I think I’m singing C1 and vice versa.

Like I said, great app, but it would be nice if they could add one more bottom octave.

Almost Perfect

2022-12-01

PitchProTunerMetronome is finally what I wanted in a pitch tuner! It’s designed well, doesn’t make me feel like I’m 70 while using it, and has enough versatility to use for a variety of purposes. All for free!

I have only a few complaints: I really want to be able to use my AirPods to make sure I can use this privately in a choir to make sure I have a note. I would love if external audio sources are allowed. As well, asking for a rating to enable analytics is... a little strange. Apple’s approach to reviews I think is far more consumer oriented and fair to developers as well.

Overall, very happy with PitchProTunerMetronome! If I could throw a tip your way, I’d be appreciative!

Pitch Pro

2023-01-01

I’ve been using PitchProTunerMetronome since it first came out. I have to say, there hasn’t been a time in my musical career that I haven’t used this to feel better about my tone and pitch. Being a long time user, I was provided its Pro features and I was very grateful. However, i recently changed my phone causing me to lose certain data such as the Pro I had. I’m still using PitchProTunerMetronome almost always but even after contacting PitchProTunerMetronome developers, I didn’t get anything. It’s a shame that I have to look elsewhere for tuning apps when I had basically found the best one for the last 2 years.

It's alright

2023-02-02

The display of the pitch you're playing doesn't update nearly as much or as fast as it used to

Edit: Okay, I've changed the setting. I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't want the pitch to automatically update, or why fast wouldn't be default. When I'm trying to tune with it set to "normal" it takes a good couple of seconds to update. Having a delay like that is useless to me because I need to see if my adjustments to embouchure are working. With fast it works fine.

Excellent with one flaw

2023-03-06

I like to use this for the analytics, and for it to be really accurate about how I’m progressing day to day I like to use a drone and not look at PitchProTunerMetronome as it judges me. Unfortunately for some reason PitchProTunerMetronome doesn’t want to seem to play the drone through headphones. This is a problem because if I just let the pitch drone without headphones then the tuner activated and PitchProTunerMetronome will think I am perfectly in tune.

I would just really appreciate it if the drone pitches could be played through headphones, that would make this perfect.

Best free tuner on the App Store

2023-04-04

It is simply the best tuner on PitchProTunerMetronome Store because of the settings it offers, the actual tuning feature, as well as the analytics/recording feature. The settings offers you to change the tuner to listen for specific quirks due to the instrument you have. The tuning feature gives you how many cents you are sharp or flat as well as how close you are in a picture representation. The tuning feature also allows you to choose a note on the piano in any octave and play, or even hold it. The analytics/recording features allow me to see where my tendencies fall. In my ligature when I'm playing my saxophone, and the strings in my ukulele. Also, the recording feature allows me to hear my recording without having to download a new app or take up space on my phone with a video. For these reasons I feel that PitchProTunerMetronome is the best free tuner on PitchProTunerMetronome Store.

Great

2023-05-06

I got it to see how high/low I can go and also to see if I was actually singing on pitch. It turns out I was singing a D6 when I thought I was singing a C6. I love being able to go to PitchProTunerMetronome and test out my voice and figure out just how high I can go. I am a mezzo soprano and this helped me figure out that the lowest I can go is a F3 and that the highest I can go is an E6/F6 (I don't remember at this moment). It definitely helps when I am looking at possible roles I may audition for. Without PitchProTunerMetronome I may have ended up going for a role that is completely out of my vocal range.

Great App

2023-06-06

I use PitchProTunerMetronome when practicing harmonies without my harmonium. It has different levels of analysis and picks up on the main sounds. I wish PitchProTunerMetronome would not interfere with music being played by the phone as I like to sing to the melodies sometimes and wish it would just review my pitch. But nonetheless, this is a great app, definitely worth getting for those who want to help tune your voice.

best tuner and amazing design!

2023-07-08

I wanted to find a tuner that looked nice, most of the popular ones look terrible and also don’t have the function for holding a drone for any note. The tuner has a minimalistic design, and it works so well! I honestly don’t think tracking how in tune you are is useful, it always says I’m not in tune based on a few cents but that really doesn’t matter to the human ear. Plus it doesn’t work well for fast passages. I never paid attention to it but it’s useful for just tuning my violin. I can use it as a drone when I play scales so I can train my ear. I have been using PitchProTunerMetronome pretty much since it came out I love PitchProTunerMetronome. I was getting really sad when I opened PitchProTunerMetronome and it was completely black and didn’t load so then I deleted and re-downloaded it again and it worked just fine. That made me want to write this review because I was not going to go back to the old, ugly tuner apps again. Thanks so much for making PitchProTunerMetronome.

Very great app

2023-08-08

It accurately tune my instrument. I have played flute for about five years and the tuning is very accurate on my instrument. This tutor even tells you how many cents sharp or flat you are on the Pitch. It has a humming note to change to at the start of your practice. If you preferred to tune in a different page than the instrument you play, you can change it in a special slide menu to any instrument preferred even strings.

A High School Band Must-Have

2023-09-09

I love PitchProTunerMetronome with a passion! Being a minimalist myself it's perfect and the controls are very easy to use. When I'm running through my music and the screen flashes green it's like this wonderful sense of pride comes over you, like "Yeah! I did that!" And it's also helpful for when your playing and don't have time to look down every five seconds but the screen will let you know you're in tune. This oboist gives a division 1 rating!

I never leave reviews but

2023-10-11

PitchProTunerMetronome has helped with my singing so much its crazy. I’ve been able to sing 3 notes lower and almost a whole octave higher sense downloading PitchProTunerMetronome. My pitch accuracy has gotten better and its crazy cause I didn’t even understand what the term “off key” meant before downloading. If you’re an aspiring musician I would definitely download PitchProTunerMetronome, it reads the pitch quickly and accurately. I tested it out by playing notes with a different device and it works.

10 Stars

2023-11-11

PitchProTunerMetronome is both gorgeous and functional. It's so so easy to use, and I can already hear a difference from having it for about 2 weeks. Since I play piccolo it's especially great :). I would total recommend you get it and have already gushed about to several other band nerds. Also I contacted Mr Kuntz and he said he was planning on adding a metronome into the future! Also to Mr Kuntz thanks for responding to my email with such class, I polished up my thoughts for your 'official' review. But seriously, get PitchProTunerMetronome because it is a gem

Great app for students and pros alike

2023-12-13

I’m a professional sax player and I use PitchProTunerMetronome every practice session. The interface is elegant and simple, but most of all it really helps me identify where I need to improve my intonation. It’s useful for active intonation practice (doing long tones, for example), but it really shines used passively — I just set it to record while I go about practicing and the analytics at the end show me where I need to improve when I’m not staring at a tuner.

Fantastic app, and again — highly recommended for musicians of any level.

Best app ever

2024-01-13

Helped me a lot. Been looking for something like this for a while. Really helped me writing songs. Write down your chords and the notes that make the chords and use this to make sure you are staying within those boundaries when singing. Best part is the mic sensitivity can be adjusted and even though it picks up both guitar and vocals, you can see if the pitch wobbles.

You can record sessions. Name each session the title of your song and track your progress by identifying your weak spots and fix them. Excellent excellent excellent app.

If you are a beginner this can help put you on the right track. If you are experienced, this will keep you sharp. You also identify the structure of your song which helps communicate to other musicians etc.

** not paid to write this and not affiliated with developer. Just really blown away by it. I have it on my 2017 iPad and my pixel 2

Honest Review

2024-12-19

I just downloaded Pitch a couple weeks ago. I think I like it, but I’ve only opened PitchProTunerMetronome a few time to play with it. I was less than thrilled when PitchProTunerMetronome I paid $100 for forced me to write this review in order to see the analytics for a recording I made. You’re not even giving me a chance to love your app before I’m forced to review it. I can’t comment on how well PitchProTunerMetronome works yet because I honestly have not used it enough to know.

Great app for singers as well

2024-12-19

PitchProTunerMetronome gives some great feedback, especially showing how when we “hold” straight tone, the pitch dives. Let the voice go freely (with vibrato), and it is easy to keep it in pitch.
Would be really interesting to have other tunings on it too (Pythagorean?). My son can tune his guitar, and I can tell if my piano is out, and how it fluctuates with temperature and humidity changes too. Love PitchProTunerMetronome!

Best Tuner

2024-12-19

I play many instruments and PitchProTunerMetronome can change to tune any instrument and changes the key for you so if you play a "C" on a Tenor Saxophone it shows as a "C" on your tuner.

It offers a correlation as what you consider "in-tune". The standard is +5/-5 cent on PitchProTunerMetronome and is acceptable for many situations. It is also very customizable to whatever you want.

The best tuner I've used and has other apps that are equally great.

Wonderful app. Very useful.

2024-12-19

I haven't been using PitchProTunerMetronome very long, but I know for sure that this will forever be my go-to app whenever I need to practice. I love how you can set the tuner to different skill levels, and I have never seen that option on any other tuner. It also suggests apps to help you with your playing and they work great, too. I am very pleased with PitchProTunerMetronome.

Such a good app

2024-12-19

I’m a music major and me and all my music major friends use PitchProTunerMetronome. It helps us know what notes will be out of tune and which ones we can work harder on. We can also record ourselves which is something that is necessary to getting better. I highly recommend PitchProTunerMetronome to anyone. Music major or just enthusiast. Good job!

Pitch

I understand people have to make money off PitchProTunerMetronome , but why produce PitchProTunerMetronome with everything free then re-introduce PitchProTunerMetronome with in app purchases that limit almost everything?? Being a musician always traveling from home to work and everywhere else I was so grateful and appreciative of the former set circumstances of PitchProTunerMetronome . Just my opinion. Thanks

Good app

2024-12-19

I tested a lot of apps for tuning and this one is by far the best I’ve seen. Other apps had a little bit of things you could do but if you wanted anything else you would have to pay or you would have to pay for PitchProTunerMetronome itself. PitchProTunerMetronome lets you do more than just tune your instrument so I really like it.🤗👍🏽
