I downloaded SimplyWise a few months ago and started uploading all of my receipts. I went to open it today and now it is asking me to pay for a subscription when I first started there was nothing I could just open it and start downloading receipt. If they are going to start creating a paid app, then they have to allow those of us who have been grandfathered into SimplyWise someway to get in but now all of my receipts that I have downloaded the last few months are gone, some of them were business but I will never get back for tax purposes. I would highly recommend not ever downloading SimplyWise!

SimplyWise cost, instead of just saying that, they let you put in your information, create an account all to then ask for payment, there is no other option. No way to even see if SimplyWise is worth paying for, Yes they give you the option of a 7 day trail but we all know that this is set up in hopes that you’ll forget before the 7 days ends to cancel and they’ll get at least a 1 time charge before you do. If i has the option to check it out, and it was worth paying for, i pay for it, but can’t get paste the first setup.

I like SimplyWise so far- great for digitizing, organizing and saving those tons of pesky paper receipts! I do wish you had an easy fix for saving email receipts. At this point, the only way is to take a screen shot, save it to photos and then import to Simply Scan. That’s not real convenient or time saving. Hopefully soon that can be solved, because emailed receipts are pretty common and it would make SimplyWise seem less.
Otherwise, I am really liking SimplyWise !

I’m so excited about SimplyWise!! My daughter said, “MOM, you will love this, you have to get it!”.
I AM loving it, and am on a roll plowing through YEARS of built up paper piles that not only clutter my home BUT ALSO MY MIND.
I am already feeling relieved and hopeful that this paper mess has been combated once and for all!😎 I can see this saving a lot of grief, time, and MONEY!

So many times I’ve returned things to the store, only to get the sale price bcs I cannot find the receipt!!

I am planning to throw these receipts away after scanning. Have most of you had luck presenting either a digital or printed receipt to stores for returns?

I HAVE A FEW SUGGESTIONS FOR THE DEVS. I would love:
1). Ability to CROP a photo
2). Ability to DARKEN text
3). ENCRYPTED feature to securely store sensitive Docs, ie medical bills
4). I would like assurance knowing I’ll be able to retrieve these downloaded docs if for some reason you discontinue SimplyWise

Overall a really good option to use. The biggest down fall and pain point is that you can not import PDF receipts/invoices. You can only import picture files. So every PDF file I have I have to take a screenshot, save as images and then import/upload into SimplyWise . Really wish I could import from my files/pdf

If you are looking for an easy to use app to help declutter your house and organize paperwork, look no further than SimplyWise. It is by far the best receipt organizer I have found and I’m super happy with this tool. You are able to categorize receipts and organize them into multiple folders to be used for different reasons. The developers of SimplyWise have already indicated that they intend on increasing its capabilities which I look forward to.

Great tool to help declutter your life and save important documents for fast recovery. Thank you!!!

UPDATE; crashes. This crashes every few mins. I thought maybe my phone needed more space (iPhone) so I cleaned it up by deleting pics and vid’s and some games. Got a good GB from cleaning. But still crashes. I’m so so disappointed. I was in love 😫🥲

PREVIOUS; I didn’t want to have to learn too much since I wanted to keep it simple. This takes a pic asks for category then saves it. Exporting was a breeze!

Love how SimplyWise instantaneously recognizes the info from my receipt and allow me to easily organize by category. I am putting stuff in folders which will make it easier when taxes are due!

They also have find the return dates for your purchases and alert you so you don’t forget. Relieves a lot of stress with all the holiday shopping!

I do bookkeeping, business management, and prepare taxes I’m recommending that all my clients get the this app app. It scans in your receipts and keeps an itemized list of your purchases. Easy to create a series of folders for specific businesses. The superior export to spreadsheet function allows sorting and categorizing all expenses on a monthly and weekly basis.

My clients will have more accurate information about net income on an ongoing basis. This will enable them to know their cash flow so they have the capacity to take advantage of investment opportunities with confidence.

Extra benefit no boxes or bags of paper to find and sort at tax time! Purchases are categorized and filed at the time of purchase. A win for everyone.

I am the most disorganized person I know. Paper simply terrifies me. But, with this app, there is hope for even me. Using it is actually fun…I just set out even the most crinkled of receipts, point and click. It sorts by the categories I choose, and will even do a spreadsheet for me. There is actually hope that I will be able to balance a checkbook for the first time in my life. Budget holds no more terror for me!

I’ve only been using SimplyWise for a short time, but I’m already finding it indispensable. It saves me a lot of time dealing with paper receipts. I’m able to take a picture upload them and export them so that I have them all in a central location that is easy to find, and I’m able to export the data into my budgeting software program.I’m really looking forward to exploring the new functionality that the developers have put into the program, and I am excited to see what they might do in the future with SimplyWise. However, just as it is, it is definitely worth a download and is a huge time saver!

I just started a cottage baking business and needed to be better organized in 2022. This has been amazing so far for keeping receipts all in one place and organized. I may start using it for personal at some point as I love how organized I look when I actually feel like a hot mess at times! So excited to see at the end of 2022 how my expenses all play out!!! Awesome app!!

With each update, SimplyWise gets better at OCR (optical character recognition). SimplyWise recognizes the merchant and adds its icon, receipt date, receipt total after tax, tax and remarkably all the line items (provided your receipt is not too wrinkled and faded). With SimplyWise , I am able to scan and throw away a pile of receipts I was keeping, in case of returns or for tax purposes.

I LOVE this app. I have so many paper receipts and bills in my receipt basket.... and I always mean to go through them, but it’s hard to find the time/energy. I’ve tried other receipt scanner apps but they never worked very well. But SimplyWise is amazing—I just scan and categorize my receipts as soon as I get them (which takes about 10 seconds), and then BEST OF ALL, I get real data based on the receipts I’ve scanned in that helps me find places I can save. Now, I’m finally getting rid of that receipt basket and all the other loose papers I have cluttering up my house... I’m telling everyone about this, because if you’re like me and looking to declutter, this is the one tool you need.

I just started using it, but I’m impressed and excited about the features it currently has and the ambition of the developer to continue to improve in all areas. SimplyWise is easy to figure out and use right away. It’s very liberating to know with just a few taps I can save a document, receipt, etc and actually be able to find it when I need it!

I used to stuff all my old receipts in shoeboxes or random drawers and have to go through them at the end of the month. My family called me the trash lady because I would have piles of receipts to sift through. My son downloaded SimplyWise on my phone and made me try it. And it is seriously the best!

As a small business person I was so happy to find this application it is easy to use and I highly recommend it I’ve used it on an iPad and 11 promax phone and I recommend using your phone as the camera is a little bit higher resolution at least for me

SimplyWise is the best app I have found for receipts! It has great customer service and I love the fact that you pay what’s fair. I’m going through tough times and this allowed me to still do what I needed without spending a ton of money. I asked the customer service team if they could add multi page receipts, and they out of the feature very quickly within a week or so. They asked questions and were very respectful. I’ve seen a lot of growth in SimplyWise meaning constant development which I love. SimplyWise is easy to use. I like that they are working on features and are willing to put this in the FAQ. That they give you work around if it’s something they don’t currently have. I suggest this to all my friends and family. Thank you all so much for your wonderful app and your friendly customer service.

I enjoy the simplicity of being able to do take a photograph of a receipt and have all of the information automatically input into the correct fields. This saves me time when it comes to organizing my finances.

SimplyWise makes organizing my receipts so easy! With more time at home this year, I set a goal to get a better handle on my finances. SimplyWise makes it so simple to organize my receipts and track where I’m spending — it’s super easy to take pictures and file them to review.
