I didn’t know what to do about my new tv when my remote took a dump!?!! I went getting explanation for it and found that my remotes that are IR or other do tend to wear out and break!! This one that I got seems to do the trick every time!! It works off of wi-fi so if you have router then it works was well as that.

Then when I worked this out, my mom also had a problem and I used this phone on her tv with UniversalSmartTVRemote I got and it worked for her as well!!! So,… I bought it for her on her phone too and she seems to be still fine…

Real Good! As in Really does the trick and can help you with other tv’s!!!

I’ve tried so many universal remotes and when I saw this and downloaded it was so quick and easy for me to connect . It’s not laggy or choppy it gets the job done premium or not .

I’m just gonna start this review by saying do not download UniversalSmartTVRemote if you are frustrated and cannot find your remote control UniversalSmartTVRemote will do nothing but make you wanna break your phone UniversalSmartTVRemote only works intermittently when it sees fit or when he chooses to. UniversalSmartTVRemote will work one moment and completely crash the next.
Even if UniversalSmartTVRemote has worked for you in the past and you think it’s going to be your saving grace when you can’t find your remote control you are wrong forgo the headache and don’t download UniversalSmartTVRemote or any of the remote apps because they all don’t work even if you pay for them

I got UniversalSmartTVRemote back in December 2020 and was excited it’s not have to use all my remotes and all my equipment. Shortly after purchasing UniversalSmartTVRemote UniversalSmartTVRemote became unstable to the point that it freezes when you open it and then shut down completely and I’m back on my home screen. I regret spending money on it because I only enjoyed it for such a short time and there’s so many other apps that are better. I hope they fix UniversalSmartTVRemote soon because it was great while it lasted but as of right now, Don’t waste your money!

So I actually paid the 20$ or whatever it was for the full access. It worked properly for about 4 days. Now, the only app it works for is Netflix. The volume and power buttons work. If I try to use any of the navigation buttons, it just identifies as a select button. I’ve emailed several times with not a response back. Wouldn’t purchase again. I’m sure there are better apps out there.

By accident when looking at UniversalSmartTVRemote and trying to get off of it, I brought their year subscription for $20 now. Now I’m over here trying to figure out how to get my money and nothing is coming up on UniversalSmartTVRemote and or their wedsite on how to cancel a year subscription. So then I went to on their wedsite where it says write a message and that’s not working either. If some from this company see this please contact me or write back on how to cancel this. Thank you

I spent the $20 to gain full access of what the remote had to offer, and was pretty happy with me purchase the first couple weeks however now I can’t even access the remote when I get in UniversalSmartTVRemote . UniversalSmartTVRemote freezes and fails to do what is expected of it. If this was fixed then I’d change my rating however being that I spent $20 on UniversalSmartTVRemote , I am not pleased with the result.

It works great I recommend buying it only thing I ask for would be options to choose a different background or a different skin

UniversalSmartTVRemote does not function! It is worse than being just a digital paperweight. I have to see if I have any chance to get a refund!

Great app! Hands down this Roku app beats all others. Most claim to be free and then stop working and force you to purchase or upgrade but not this one and its super user-friendly.

This remote app works! I have had some bad experiences with other remotes that either did to little or nothing at all.

I really like the functionality BUT i got this because my remote is broken. I cannot use UniversalSmartTVRemote because every time i try to use it i have to use the factory remote to turn the tv on and “allow” UniversalSmartTVRemote to function. Why cannot i “pair” my phone (with app) to my tv?

I downloaded probably 20 different remotes and hands down this was the easiest to use. Absolutely love it!

App doesn’t work at all. Connects to my Fire TV, but does nothing when I press buttons. Also my tv does not show up on my Apple Watch with the companion app, which is the whole reason I downloaded this to begin with. Complete waste of time. Also there are CONSTANT advertisements so even if it did work, I’m not sure I’d bother using it.

Functional, efficient design makes this my choice of apps for my tv remote. Keep up the good work!

It was great for the first few days, now it won’t recognize my tv and they are both on the same wifi and my tv is on. Very frustrating not even refreshing app will help

Tried using it to set up my new Samsung TV. Can’t find device. Not paying for something that will not work! Thought it might be easier to set the TV up rather than using the remote but no go?! Would love to be able to use this but ..,

This stupid app is shoved on me at purchase of a Samsung television. It was absurdly complex to set up, and once configured, doesn’t work. Complete waste of time and waste of money. Do not purchase this even if they try to shut it on you!

Downloaded it, didn’t work, couldn’t even get off of the first page that says no devices found. Horrible

Multiple downloads and requiring dollars each time. Not even sure what it does

Using in limited version for 10 seconds brought up the rate me now 3x

My remote that came with tv stopped working and I couldn’t access Netflix or Amazon prime. Instead of trying to purchase another I tried UniversalSmartTVRemote. It solved my problem for only $19.99 lifetime. Would have spent more most likely on traditional remote.
