YouCam Video: Makeup Editor Reviews

I already have youcam app, so I really only got this one for the AI video effects since I can do pretty much the same stuff in video mode on the regular youcam app, and I also already had the makeup app. Unfortunately, I paid the gull price for YouCamVideo only to discover ALL the AI effects make the video lag so far behind the sound that they are unusable since they areobbiously not sync'd correctly- they really need to work on those! The regular effects all work fine without screwing up the sync between audio/video, however the effects will go across the entire screen and I personally don't have a lot of use for that since they go over the subject's face and obscure them to the point of distraction- the AI ones won't do that but again, unusable due to sync issues. As far as the makeup, I personally find you are just better off making sure you do your makeup well before a video- it will obvious when you have 4 sets of lashes when you blink, for example, that there is some "creative editing" going on here. I think this is more suitable for subtle adjustments, but then I can also adjust subtle things like color saturation, contrast, etc without YouCamVideo. There really is no "fix" for making sure you look your best before a video- careful planning and execution is key.

I was looking for an app to do light "Photoshop style" touchups of myself on videos to post to social media. YouCamVideo totally does that and works well in that capacity.

The reason I am deleting YouCamVideo is it has a crazy amount of privacy permissions that it wants from its users. It wants to be able to use the tracking feature it wants to install cookies it wants all types of permissions that should not be necessary in a simple video editing app. I have no doubt that they have all types of rationalizations why their video app needs this information. NO other video editor - and I use many - has ever asked for these permissions/this information. I don't know what that's about and I'm not interested to find out so I will be deleting it.

I purchased YouCamVideo and was very excited to play. Once i opened it, I clicked the upload it took me to my pictures and when it came back to YouCamVideo it was just there sample video - so I tried again and same thing now not giving a choice or showing my pictures or videos… I’ve tried over and over again and nothing just the same video and nothing to click to get out of it - it slows me to make changes to their video but that does me no good. Not sure what’s going on, I messaged the suggestions because there is no support button and o still haven’t heard back - I’d appreciate a message back to fix this issue. I’d love to change my review and play with YouCamVideo but Hoping this will get me to support. When you pay for something you want it to work and when you can’t get help it’s extremely frustrating.

I subscribed to this last month. After the trial period, I was charged for a full year. But after the trial period, the subscription doesn’t work. I see in my iTunes subscriptions that I am subscribed until November of 2022. Then in YouCamVideo , I try to restore purchases, and it says there’s no subscription. So I try to re-purchase the subscription and it tells me I can’t because I already have a subscription!!! I haven’t changed my Apple ID, my iOS is up to date and YouCamVideo is the latest version. I tried rebooting my phone and reinstalling YouCamVideo . I had a video to do today and went to use YouCamVideo and I can’t use it!!! Please fix or REFUND MY PURCHASE! I am so frustrated that I’ve spent these hours messing with this subscription and there’s no one to call to fix it.

YouCamVideo is piece of crap because I can’t video myself to see what I look like with different hair color. It’s just some girl. Also almost all of them you’ll have to pay real money. Why apps like this so greedy?! I installed this for nothing. You guys is greedy. Always making people spend THEIR money. Sorry for being so rude. It just that it is so silly. Is there any other apps like this that doesn’t make me spend my money? I really want to see what I look like with black hair and blonde hair. I want everything to be free. I know you have to make the apps use real money and I get it. I just want to have an app that is free for once. Sorry for typing long. I love using a different filters and creating some really cool pictures and it’s so easy to use. It adds so much to the pictures and people really enjoy them and give a lot of compliments. I even enhance the pictures I receive from others and resend them them back to the sender and they love them. Highly recommend it and I think it 2999 a year it’s fairly reasonable for such a cool tool.

I love YouCamVideo. The eyelashes and manual face smoothing are next level!! The features as a whole are really amazing and I adore YouCamVideo.

However I don’t use it as much as I would if it loaded videos quicker. Is it possible the whole test the features option on the initial part of YouCamVideo is slowing this down?

I use Videoshop, Facetune Video, and another app that load up my video library for selection right away. However I love your app even more but I need quicker access to my videos.

After selecting the video to be edited and going through the process to include saving, all of the above is smooth and speedy. It’s just the initial loading of the video library that makes me hesitate before opening YouCamVideo .
I believe YouCamVideo could be the best in the biz of this one flaw that stalls the process could be somehow sped up.

BUT❤️I would love to be able to add sound effects and certain music to my personalized videos. Like I just had one of my cat and I used the effects to brighten it and added the double rainbow 🌈 love frame thingy there. But oh how perfect it would have been had I of been able to add a cute twinkle sound or something. Also, if you own YouCam photo too? Think Picture Slide Show with add-able sounds🥰

Omg! So, I love YouCamVideo so much but the hair style try ons look so fake and they are not very cute, but on to the good stuff. I love all of the makeup, the hair color, and the cute filters and effects. I have recommended it to all of my friends and I would recommend it to you.

I didn’t even have to get in YouCamVideo you might as well have sat on the front that cost money instead of just lying to all of us when you get it it actually cost money so there’s no point I don’t see why people make things like this cost money and less change it so you can see when you get YouCamVideo but the very first time before you get here that says cost money this is a horrible Alba and the core Marshalltown boring or you could literally just get a filter app instead for free and make videos just like that and that’s just about your luxeThis thing is basically saying that you’re ugly

I am always trying to find fun changer apps, but most of them don’t work or you have to pay for them. But on this one, it actually has more than one choice on the touch ups and makeup. You can always buy full access, but I am content with the free version.

I’ve played with many others but none have realistic looks cosmetic and hair effects like this one. Definitely worth it for video editing, easy to user and pretty good user experience!

I fell in love with YouCamVideo during my trial. But I realized that it has NO body editing functions?!? Like hello, what’s the point of editing just ur face? Think people won’t notice a difference between my yucky chubby body and my super hot & perfect face!? Ya right. And they want u to PAY to use it!? Without a body editor?? Nope, guess I’ll stick with another one. I had high hopes cuz it’s seemed so awesome. 😒

So I am blind. YouCamVideo does not read most page elements for voice over. YouCamVideo is not accessible for people with visual impairments. I attempted to contact developers before posting review, however there is no way to from the website unless you are making a media request. 2 stars for having a few things labeled

I purchased an annual plan May 21', today i logged in to enhance a product video for my website and its asking me to purchase the premium to use certain features. I feel like I was ripped off, ive already paid you once, im not paying again when ive paid for the year. My apple subscription shows that YouCamVideo is set to expire May 22'. Everything should've been working just fine.

I LOVE you-cam makeup, it's really well made. But, I could say otherwise for YouCamVideo. The quality is really crappy, and there is literally NO makeup choices is you choose not to buy the $20 subscription or whatever it is. I’m only giving one star because they TRIED. please don’t get YouCamVideo… you can just do it on YouCam makeup and it’ll be WAY better quality. Thanks for reading this!
