JobStack is not only poorly designed but designed for the purpose of control over workers just like the business itself. They failed to design JobStack so that you can call/email the office in which the job is in its area for. They don’t let you find other potential jobs for that day especially if the job is only for half of the day. I find it difficult to look for jobs the next day so that I not only don’t have to worry about looking for jobs right away in the morning but can make plans to get to the job on time the next day instead of having not being able to get to the job on time cause having to look for one right away in the morning instead of focusing on getting to a job in the morning and not having enough to get to the job cause the jobs were not posted early enough to get to the job on time. It should be the first person to take the job not the first person who arrives at the job site first. If there is anybody else to take the job after the first person to take the job they should be a backup incase the person runs into problems or doesn’t show up for the job. I don’t know if anyone will be reading this and makes any sense. To me this is just evidence of a app not really thought out well or not having the kind of people who are going to be using JobStack to get involved in designing JobStack or having a test run on JobStack with people who are going to be using JobStack .

It is showing only 2 jobs in the whole state of Arizona, and once u go to see the address it’s in Minneapolis Minnesota. JobStack IS A JOKE!! It’s either employers messing around, and putting phony addresses and wrong info just to make it look like there are jobs in AZ. But folks I’m here to tell u this place is a straight JOKE !!!

It’s barely no jobs available and when there is it’s days I can’t work, and jobs am not qualified for, and far away even the instance jobs. Use to get paid with an a few hours with the old one now you have to wait about two days. I applied for jobs than it notify me that the branch declined it. The old one you don’t have to have approved you just apply and go to the job now you have to be approved I don’t like that. I work with this company off and on for two years. And when I first started I was able to work few jobs the first year was good cause I worked a job several times and even work double. And last year worked a job couple of times before this new app. And the jobs I did once before I don’t see but I have been able to work a job for couple of times. But now it’s just not how it use to be when I first started. Seem like during the summer it’s barely no jobs. But seem to have plenty during the winter and spring.

don't fall for the developer response if you don't go onto the main branch you're not going to work !!!!!!!! JobStack doesn't work clean and simple ... a complete waste of time just gone to the branch and do everything that way yeah what is that Nick is gonna work are you gonna get very frustrated and annoyed why do they allow this to happen JobStack is full of bugs and nothing works it's not gonna accept anything I'm gonna send you an I'm gonna have to go on a main office don't waste your time for anything out on JobStack is not going to work nothing is going to work!!!!!! don't believe me trying to find out and we're not in Work 's report back to this review and confirm what I said it doesn't work!!!!

I’ve tried and tried but JobStack doesn’t work uninstalled and still called the number said I would be getting a email and nothing . So upset just trying to work and you jump through all this hoops for nothing what a waste of time when you are really looking for a job don’t do it

Terrible. The old app was better. Now we have to wait 48 hours AFTER the shift to even get paid if the customer decides to pay. You guys used to pay us immediately after our shift. Now it feels like I’m slaving away for nothing. Also, you guys used to have pay cards ready for immediate pick up instead of now having us wait an entire week to get a new one if we call a certain number. Bring back the old people ready please.

I've worked for this company for years. Now i'm no longer qualified for jobs i've done before. I cant take construction, day labor, demolition or even store resets despite doing that for years at PeopleReady. If I attempt to book a job JobStack tells me its scheduling and then say its umable to book me. Even on jobs marked "Instant Accept".

When i try to bring these issues up with PeopleReady staff they cut me off abruptly and then bury me in policy talk. This isnt helpful at all. I cant secure jobs. i cant make ends meet and pay bills if I'm rejected for every single job. The only people that benefit from JobStack are the booking team. Its made their job much easier and allows them to be rude to associates.

Thanks for nothing PeopleReady. You're losing a loyal worker because you refuse to help associates find work. Nevermind that is actually the point of your service. I've never seen a worse staffing agency. Way to screw over the people your company built their reputation on. Associates break their backs for you and the result is two middle fingers up from PeopleReady staff.

They pick and choose who they let work and it’s never jobs on JobStack

Now you have to select every individual day to see what’s available rather than it just showing everything. Got plenty of jobs on the old app but the new app you need to qualify for all the jobs and I don’t qualify for any has been a complete waste of time, hopefully it will improve with time. I don’t qualify for anything requiring a background check (which is everything) because of cannabis related charge from 7 years ago, the new background check place is pure garbage

The office people are no help at all , it’s like they don’t wanna help you , will straight up hang up on your face and say that’s not my problem when it’s an issue on there side

I don’t think I want to spend 2hours adding all my information with people ready then JobStack just to not be able to click on anything absolutely infuriating can’t click on any job and it’s stuck in a start onboarding task glitch which I have all completed for it to again tell me I must complete onboarding to accept jobs there are 0 jobs in the whole United States of America

Worked for LaborReady for 12 years. Onboarding took over a week to complete.(EVERY step has to be branch approved) Skills STILL under review. Was told once onboarding was completed and after the in person interview more jobs should show up, complete lie. All jobs are 39+ miles away(and the same ones from prior to onboarding completion), most of which are 4 hour shifts. For the next week and a half there are only 4 jobs showing. I’ve never had trouble getting work from this company, but since they started using JobStack it looks like either they are slowly going out of business OR JobStack is broken and Branches are using their old system of first to call to sign up for the day. It also looks like devs in here give you customer service numbers FOR JobStack and not for the company, soo unless it’s specifically an app problem I doubt they’ll be able to do anything.

I live in one of the largest job markets, Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. I have used JobStack off and on for the last 4 years, but daily for the last 14 months. Daily JobStack has NO JOBS. Then when it does finally have a job posted, the job is very far away and/or for very low wages. And to make matters worse, the two times I submitted for a job, the job had already been filled and the other there was a pending contract issue with the employer — so why were these jobs still posted for selection? One star because the look and functionality of JobStack is great, but what’s the point if there are no jobs?

Having GPS speak to you while driving, also having you’re start date as well

I work two Mondays ago and have not gotten paid they have never called to respond I’ve been calling them they keep saying they have to get in contact with the customer

Keeps telling me I can’t apply for job until onboarding completed. But when I go to complete onboarding says all forms completed. But it also never asked me to upload identifications. Horrible app.

I’m not able to see any job listings and it keeps buffering it’s a glitch going on and it keeps automatically canceling work

At the time of me writing this, supposedly 45 people have rated this PeopleReady app all at a glowing "5 stars", yet no one has written a review... who uses JobStack and job finding service for any amount of time will quickly see this is not some amazing universally loved app. Someone is artificially padding their ratings.

This new app is pure garbage I can’t even sin in my account, it say “Cant find my account” but If I try to make a new account it’s say “These credentials are Registered. JobStack is garbage. You guys get zero stars from me

Deleted the other app .. created an account for JobStack and now it says I’m not a registered associate .. so I can’t pick up work ..

I would love to give 5 stars based on the original app we used because it was flawless. But they told me to download this one and when I click to open it will not load. It briefly flashes on the screen then closes. I’m using at least the 13.4 version it requires on the iPhone. Maybe I’ll keep trying but so far I’m not happy.

Getting paid

It is easier to use then the last version.
Though if your not tech savvy then it might be a learning curve.

This company along with JobStack set up is 🔥🔥!! The staff are very understanding and all around Angels in disguise!! They really do care about there employees and do there best as long as you do your best to make sure everyone walks away with a smile on there face..

I really like JobStack so much more than the one before. It’s so much easier to navigate and that definitely improves the odds of getting work.

App useful and very convenient

Job stack has bin useful in several ways to me, for one I’m saving grates of amounts of money for something special for myself. I hope to keep having my current job and I am very grateful for it. #people ready and lake shore team and staff. Grate people to be working with.
