Designed so that that the company has control over what you can work on

This app is not only poorly designed but designed for the purpose of control over workers just like the business itself. They failed to design the app so that you can call/email the office in which the job is in its area for. They don’t let you find other potential jobs for that day especially if the job is only for half of the day. I find it difficult to look for jobs the next day so that I not only don’t have to worry about looking for jobs right away in the morning but can make plans to get to the job on time the next day instead of having not being able to get to the job on time cause having to look for one right away in the morning instead of focusing on getting to a job in the morning and not having enough to get to the job cause the jobs were not posted early enough to get to the job on time. It should be the first person to take the job not the first person who arrives at the job site first. If there is anybody else to take the job after the first person to take the job they should be a backup incase the person runs into problems or doesn’t show up for the job. I don’t know if anyone will be reading this and makes any sense. To me this is just evidence of a app not really thought out well or not having the kind of people who are going to be using the app to get involved in designing the app or having a test run on the app with people who are going to be using the app.

Map option is a nice idea but

Now you have to select every individual day to see what’s available rather than it just showing everything. Got plenty of jobs on the old app but the new app you need to qualify for all the jobs and I don’t qualify for any has been a complete waste of time, hopefully it will improve with time. I don’t qualify for anything requiring a background check (which is everything) because of cannabis related charge from 7 years ago, the new background check place is pure garbage

At the time of me writing this, supposedly 45 people have rated this PeopleReady app all at a glowing "5 stars", yet no one has written a review... who uses this app and job finding service for any amount of time will quickly see this is not some amazing universally loved app. Someone is artificially padding their ratings.
