Now the mower will not start because it thinks that the “loop signal off (eco)” which it is NOT! It’s not in the charger! The loop wire is connected. I want a refund.

While I can establish a bluetooth connection when close to the device, GARDENABluetoothApp doesn’t save changes such as updated mowing schedules. What’s worse GARDENABluetoothApp is the only way to change certain settings.

I like the lawnmower but GARDENABluetoothApp hasn’t worked even once for me. It’s basically like not having an app for it at all.

The application does need to reconnect, constantly . It also throws communication error after communication error. Gardena was a good brand. It does not seem the case anymore .

I was ready for and automatic lawn mower but it just wasn’t ready for me. The product itself seems fine. GARDENABluetoothApp has lots of trouble connecting. Slow responses mean you’re not sure if it even got the signal you sent. Very simplistic controls. Poor feedback and error trouble shooting design. Lots of troubleshooting. At a certain point, I’ll just save myself some time and get out the lawnmower and do it myself.

I have the Water Controller. It was connected to my phone and worked wonderfully for ~1 year. Now the device will no longer connect to GARDENABluetoothApp (despite multiple restarts of the device and factory resets). GARDENABluetoothApp continuously throws either the error that it’s found an unsupported device or the error that the device needs to be restarted. Tried to connect it via different phones (thought maybe that was the issue) and uninstalled and reinstalled GARDENABluetoothApp , nothing works. Unfortunately I can’t recommend the product or GARDENABluetoothApp for these reasons…

There are so many inadequacies with GARDENABluetoothApp, that it is impossible to to list every issue, this considering they a legacy maker is being left behind by nearly every other robotic mower company and accompanying app.

Here is a short list of issues!

1. Bluetooth only, GARDENABluetoothApp cannot even serve as bridge to WiFi, thus controlling the mower requires Bluetooth at all times!
2. GARDENABluetoothApp has no feature to connect it to current weather conditions to stop mowing in the event of rain since the robotic mower itself lacks the sensor to detect rain (like nearly every other maker does).
3. Mowing can only be paused or you are forced to delete scheduled mowing in the event you want to skip mowing for a particular day for any reason!
4. App cannot pause/restart without physical interaction with the mower, this is an apparent safety feature! User should be able to bypass this if the pause was initiated for reasons other than safety and of course it lacks this simple feature!
5. GARDENABluetoothApp will not allow users to connect via Bluetooth unless you are physically within a few meters of unit.

Regrettably, they are well aware of all of these limitations however have refused to make any improvements to GARDENABluetoothApp .

The Gardena Bluetooth app is quite basic ( less than 10m of clear line of sight). Interventions require physically going to the mower to input your PIN code every time. This defeats the purpose of remote operation. It would be ideal if all Sileno mowers could be adapted to the Smart function that utilizes WiFi instead of Bluetooth. I’m currently on vacation and I can see on my cameras that my mower is stuck and unfortunately I cannot remotely operate it. It will remain stuck for a month grass overgrowth all around it. To spend another €800 to “upgrade” to a more intelligent mower is not worth the expense.

I am able to connect and manage my gardena robot lawn mower from several feet away. It works as expected. However, the last update broke the lawn coverage settings section. No controls are visible anymore.

Love the mower. Works well. Sometimes difficult to get GARDENABluetoothApp to connect to the mower. Only reason that I gave it four stars. I would buy again.

Wait until you get “Mini” installed! Your only regret will be “wish I did this sooner”!
Be prepared that the installation does take more boundary stakes than the company listed was necessary in the directions & that led to the necessity of ordering a couple hundred more stakes to complete my 5050 square foot area. Many customer reviews listed this fact so I was aware prior to my purchase. After we got thru that part, the rest of the setup was simple! Since I do not have a fence, the 2 neighbors that do have a fence is no issue & the 2 that do not, I used 3 foot flags approx every 10 feet so the neighbors didn’t mow over & cut my boundary wire.
This is my second year since installing my “Minimo” & it’s such a pleasure! I love the silence! Can’t wait till everyone gets away from the noisy gas power lawnmowers!
My original flags that I placed along my neighbors lots lines last mowing season in 2023, they are still standing now for the second mowing year! I use a trimmer once every couple weeks to get the grass that grows along the 2 neighbors boundary lines.

Well it's fall and I have not pushed a mower once but my yard is always mowed. Autonomous mowing has earned five stars.
