Downloaded optimum app on firestick and it does not open

I get a spinning wheel and error code (LIVE - 1003) when using the optimum tv app (on Apple TV) to select a channel to watch. Streaming services work fine

The Optimum TV app crashes after entering my credentials while using it in the Bluestacks 5 Android emulator. It did the same as the Altice One app beginning at some point earlier this year. I have no trouble with the app in the Nox emulator on my laptop that runs Windows 10. The app needs to work again in Bluestacks, though, so that I can use that emulator on my new Windows 11 desktop PC. Nox made that PC crash. I haven't tried it after updating the new PC's motherboard drivers, but it's not worth the risk. The iOS version of the app also crashes while entering my password on Apple TV.

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent Optimum app issues:

Force Stop the Optimum App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click Optimum app. » click "Force Stop".

Update Optimum to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Optimum App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "Optimum app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch Optimum.

Fix Optimum unable to contact server/ Optimum internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click Optimum » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got Optimum » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Optimum on android.
