Can't access thermostat all through Cor app. Have installed app several times. Thermostat is communicating with modem fine. App keeps telling me my password os wrong, but I don't see any way to change the password. The App worked fine for about 4 months. I have not been able to access thermostat via App for at least the last month.

I am having problems with this app every week, sometimes just trivial, but today and for the last 3 freezing cold days of the winter storm the arrows to move the temperature up and down are completely gone from the middle of the screen. I live in a big house and have an elderly parent down 3 floors. I need to constantly change the temp on my phone to keep the basement warm for her. This app is completely useless for this for the last 3 days. I have tried everything people suggest, uninstalling, then re-installing, powering down my phone, logging out of the app(although it logs me out everyday by itself) checking to see if there is an update for my phone, or the app. The last problem was saying I hadn't connected to wifi lately? This was inaccurate, I was on wifi and the wall controller was working fine. This went on for 3 days and then rectified. I am always trying to find answers online.

Like other people I get 3 dots instead of a list of numbers to adjust to. Takes a long time to refresh data to show current temps. Have updated, uninstalled and reinstalled no help.

Unable to complete 2nd page of login after user name and password. Asks what do l want to name? HOME, etc. Than asks for zip code or address. Put in zip, hit continue, switches screen will ask for address, put in address, hit continue goes back and it asks for zip, keeps bouncing back and forth, zip address. Will not accept either to complete log in.

Inferior Home Comfort

Have all new Carrier Infinity equipment with their newest Thermostat SYSTXCCITCO1-B and Smart Zone. Should be called Inferior not Infinity as is so far behind in technology. No fan option for auto circulate or to set minimum fan run time to start with.

Terrible redesign

The old Carrier infinity app looked exactly like the console on my wall. Learn one and you learn both. It’s not a great interface, but it worked. This app is terrible. It does not have all the functionality, it is difficult to use and find stuff. I won’t be using it, rather I’ll stick with the existing Carrier Infinity app as long as I can. This is a great example of spending ridiculous money on a product to later have it disabled / crippled. Carrier: if you want to make a new app, then one: make it universal not just iPhone. Two, don’t get rid of features. Three, make it more intuitive, not less. Four after all of the above, then enhance it with new iPhone support like fingerprint/face login. Five don’t stray far from the thermostat interface that everyone knows how to use. Six don’t get rid of features!

Oh boy, new version! Oh, it’s worse than the old one...

We had our system installed in Sept 2020 and I was feeling pretty smug that I was able to connect my system to the app and the app worked smoothly. Sure it looked a little Windows 3.1, but only once did it fail to communicate and I was able to just un/reinstall and it was working again. So when I saw a new app, I was happy to install it and see how it worked. Firstly, the weather forecast is taken away and replaced with air quality index. I would guess it’s because carrier had to pay for forecast and AQ is free. So a minor disappointment, but I’ll live. Secondly, everything is moved unnecessarily around and it is no longer as intuitive as it was. Is this the trade off for appearance being raised from Windows 3.1 to 95? Thirdly, blasted thing doesn’t work. It will take my changes and communicate it to the system, but it no longer can tell me what it is doing. It says it is off when I hear it running along on high, it says it is stage 5 when I could hear a pin drop. They overpaid the app developer and should go back to their lukewarm original app. Or at least give customers the opportunity to go back instead of making us all beta testers.
