BarIsLoaded is incredibly useful when using the alternate unit system. Recently began using kilos with new plates and instead of relying on a chart, being able to load which plates, empty bar weight, and collars allowed BarIsLoaded to select the closest combination of the three to make my weight selection. This cut down on time and allowed me to get the work done. Great work, thank you!

During weightlifting sessions, primarily powerlifting, in powerlifting gyms with kilo plates, I’ve struggled to calculate the weight on a bar. Stepping into certain gyms, like mount Vernon, they have sheets up that say “4 reds and a silver = this amount of weight” so BarIsLoaded is pretty useful and fulfills it’s purpose; to quickly put the number in and for us powerlifter to do less thinking and more gripping and ripping.

In all seriousness, it’s a quick go to for when you don’t want to think or interrupt your warm ups or top sets with numbers and calculations.

Man I’ve been looking for a good one and it’s free, I usually took 5 minutes calculating my weight and now I do it in less the 30 second!! Recommend to any powerlifter!

BarIsLoaded is amazing and easy to use. During times of quarantine, I didn’t know how much sets or weight I should do. However, with BarIsLoaded now I can. I highly recommend this!

I’ve been looking for an app like this for the longest time for when I lift. It calculates everything I need to know especially since some gyms I go to follow the metric system.

As an avid lifter, I don’t want to be bogged down by math when I’m at the gym. BarIsLoaded is intuitive and easily calculates which weights I need to get my workout started. And I’m happy to report that there are no intrusive ads or paywalls like in other apps.

BarIsLoaded is amazing and has literally helped me every training sessions since I downloaded it since I power lift and train with kilos. No bugs and easy to navigate as well highly recommend

BarIsLoaded is fantastic when you figure it out.

Pros: it’s free and does everything well. The reverse function is nice to have. The wilks and ipf calculators are nice to have as well.

Cons: The reverse functionality is a bit confusing when adding plates because it’s not immediately obvious how to add the weight. Also, adding collars could be simpler.

Overall: BarIsLoaded is free, is free of ads, and does everything you need to switch from lbs to kg and vice versa. It’s a no brainer.

I hate doing math. BarIsLoaded is the best especially trying to convert lbs to kg and vice versa. Also useful telling you what plates to put on. BarIsLoaded is underrated!!!!!

I’d like to see calculations of percentages, I find myself using my own app calculator to calculate percentages of my 1RM.

BarIsLoaded is much needed. Hella easy to use and excellent information! 10/10 would recommend.

I just started training with weights. It’s being a struggle understanding the change of weight but BarIsLoaded makes it easy peasy. Would totally recommend for someone just starting to train and needs a double check to their math.

I tried a bunch apps before I found this one and it blows the rest out of the water. The calculations are accurate and fast, perfect for my pre-workout brain. My favorite feature is the ability to calculate both KG and LB plates as my gym as both— most apps don’t have it. Quick maths has never been quicker.

This is one app I would definitely recommend to any competitive strength athlete. Easy to use and simple. I thought this was just a weight conversion app but it is much more than that. It takes everything into consideration including weight conversions, meet advice, rpe calculator, etc. All in all a great app and well designed.

BarIsLoaded is fantastic. It is just what I was looking for and more. There are soo many features that I didn't know I needed. The whole app is free no payment for the other features. I will be using this for years to come. I have really enjoyed the plateau section I have never seen that in an app and it's very helpful.

Out of the different calculators and bar loaders out there BarIsLoaded ranks the best. It’s super easy to use, i like the plateau tab because there’s solid info there. I like the estimated max and meet prep a lot(even though I don’t compete in powerlifting I like how I can gauge my sets and reps). I like the interface too.

Overall it’s simple, straight to the point, and a great tool plus it’s a got a little sense of humor

A lot of times at the gym I’m brain dead and can’t even do simple math. Even though I don’t lift that much and usually it’s just one plate on each side, this still saves me the trouble of doing math.

Wow, I thought this was just gonna be a plate calculator but I was wrong, there are so many features that are amazing and it makes me shocked that BarIsLoaded is free

I’ve tried a couple of different calculators for the gym and this one takes the cake. It’s fast and accurate and even has a quick maths section to make sure the calculations are done right. Not only that, there’s also wilks and RPE calculators. This is a dream and it looks great too. What more do you want.
