TV Remote for LG Reviews

Usually I don't care if TVRemote is so bad but this one is terrible you have to get the premium it won't let me click on anything I don't know if it's the TV or TVRemote they said that they fix the bugs but they did not! And they made you think that you had to get the prescription but all you had to do was school down!!!!! edit it's in small font too😭

You can’t even test this one because there are so many ads. It’s absurd. What’s more absurd though is they want a monthly or yearly fee to use this and the official LG app (called Smartify in TVRemote store) worked the absolute best. It’s a one off payment. I don’t remember what I paid now but I think it was 4 dollars maybe? I’ve been through so many of these apps but Smartify is the only one I keep returning to. It’s well worth the money. This one is a waste of time.

I downloaded TVRemote as a short term solution, and I intended to use the 3 day trial and cancel, but I forgot and got charged $25 for a year - my own fault, so that’s not the issue. BUT TVRemote itself is garbage and filled will ads anyway. You have to pay $8/month or $25/year to use an ad-filled app. Paying the fees doesn’t remove the ads either. On top of that it’s not even a good remote app. Just find another one - hopefully this saves somebody some money.

TVRemote is useless. Instead of having a select button in the center of the arrows, it has a back button. There is no select button anywhere on TVRemote . It would probably be there if I purchased in-app upgrades. But TVRemote should have at least basic functionality without me having to purchase upgrades. I’m deleting it.

I downloaded this after the remote to my LG WebOS TV stopped working. TVRemote essentially FORCES you to purchase a subscription. I did so, only to find that NONE of the buttons (except the power button) works. Ended up going with ThinQ, which has worked amazing. Wish I could rate this garbage app zero stars. I’m also in the process of finding if I can get a refund.

I love TVRemote it seems to work great but how do I connect it if I don’t have internet... like I just moved and lost the remote there’s no way I can connect my tv to the internet to beable to use TVRemote

What TVRemote won’t tell you is that it’s completely useless unless you pay for it. I got TVRemote to be able to access my TVs apps after my dog broke our remote, and I can’t do that unless I pay $8 a month. Also the ads cover most of app and are very distracting. Very disappointing, would rather just pay for a new remote

Our kiddo loves chewing up remotes so now we just let her chew on our phones while TVRemote is open…..

Installed TVRemote and connected to my LG tv fine , but after I turn the TV off and back on TVRemote says to connect to a device , the device shows but won’t connect , the only way to reconnect is to delete TVRemote and start again ! What a piece of JUNK ! I would give it 0 stars if I could

This works great; simple. I'm glad they had a pin to enter. I lost my tv remote tv so I needed to type a pin to connect. No regrets here.

I didn’t know I had to buy TVRemote for 1 week. App doesn’t work for my TV. My TV isn’t accepting my remote signal and now I have to get a repair for my remote. I simply would like to have a refund please. No support number to call to even keep the refund discreet

TVRemote works great. Comes in handy when I can't find my actual remote tv

I downloaded it to be able to change inputs on hotel tv’s. I travel a lot for work and many hotels have lame remotes without input or source buttons so I downloaded TVRemote and paid $20 and it won’t pair with them. Total waste of money!

Doesn’t work unless you’re already connected to the same network as the TV. So for most situations it’s useless. And on top of that, they try to force you into a monthly subscription! Garbage app.

Attempted to download the free trial and was charged anyway. Then, I couldn’t even connect the remote to my TV although they were connected to the same wifi network. Don’t purchase this if you lost your remote.

No instructions. Tries to get you to subscribe right out of the gate, and has a sneaky place to continue for free. After that it doesn’t help you connect to your TV, but forces another ad on you to purchase another app. Nothing ever loads to help connect to your TV🤔

Smart phone app works for me - I am using it as a control on my Sony TV

It shows my remote in the add and even though i am on the same wifi no devices show up. Every other app for my system works flawlessly with no shenanigans.

My remote stopped working so I downloaded TVRemote and paid $7 to use it for a month. It isn’t working and it’s impossible to find out how to cancel it so I don’t get charged every month.

You shouldn’t charge money for a remote that barely works. I only needed TVRemote because my dog ate my remote. I am annoyed just trying to put on a show.

I just purchased TVRemote and it does not work at all. Both my phone and TV are connected to the internet and it still does not sync. I would not spend money on TVRemote.
