Plex & Kodi (XBMC) remote Reviews

Tested on both WinXP & OS X 10.8 machines running Plex. Config instructions from reviewers below work great.

Make sure you have launched Plex on your machine before testing the connection.

I had reviewed a previous version of PlexKodiXBMCremote and gave it a poor review for not removing the ads (freeing the info button) upon purchase. Am now happy to report with this latest update, that issue has been resolved. Just wanted to give a shout out thanking the developer for fixing the bug. This is a no frills control (there a various others with more comprehensive controls), but this is the only one I've found that has all buttons (including info) on one page, relieving the need for switching between multiple screens. For the money, this one can't be beat, what you see is what you get. Thanks again guys.

Very nice and simple remote app. It's easy to install and it just works. I'm using it with Plex. The ads are a little annoying but then again, PlexKodiXBMCremote is free.

Useless not working app,remote still won't work as a remote on plex. Not possible to test before buy, more use burning your money. Tested multiple versions of PlexKodiXBMCremote, current version still useless on plex. Spend your money elsewhere

Followed another reviewers instructions on how to connect and it works like a charm!

Works perfectly with Plex - see below reviewers instructions, dead easy.

You have to buy the Play/Pause button but that's not an issue because it will never work well enough to get to the point where you would push play.

Works with plex .9 which eliminates use of mouse...keyboard only control.i put in my ip,my plex,and port forwarding info...and it works.

I can't see if any of the controls will work with Boxee unless I purchase apps that turn on the buttons. So it isn't worth exploring for a platform or app that is so old.

You must know your IP to connect this to your computer. Tried to enter mine and every time I tried it had an error. PlexKodiXBMCremote support won't open. Deleting now.

Move along. Nothing to see here. Not worth downloading. There are other free controller apps. Shouldn't have to buy a button. Either make it free or make it cost money.

The free version works fine but don't pay to remove the ads!!!

They won’t give or even sell you kodi but they will give you a remote Thanks Apple.Be more like Microsoft and not so Greedy

Could not get it to work with plex even with the instructions someone left in the reviews so I tried Hippo remote and it worked great.

PlexKodiXBMCremote simply does not work. I was unable to get it to connect to my Mac Mini running Boxee software. There are no instruction or help menu.

You have to paid for certain buttons to work with the whole remote. Free my &$#%!!

Has no support or instructions on setting up remote for plex.
