New update ruining my earnings

I’m frustrated with the new update it’s confusing and misleading I feel like my earnings have declined since then and now when I take an order I don’t know whether it’s a good one or not after every completed delivery I’m not being paid what’s shown I liked the older version where drivers were sent a total amount and tips later after 6hours it’s not worth your gas if you are not guaranteed that you will get paid the full amount it’s not fair to drivers who have to drive far and then end up with $5+ less than what was suppose to be paid I don’t like this new update at all this app please take this supposedly estimated “tip included” because it’s a whole mess and I can’t figure out how much I’m making especially when you have customers who remove the tips at the end or don’t tip at all it’s not worth my time or money I do uberats and I feel like this app is trying to run the platform just like ubereats where customer is allowed to remove the tips I already have to deal with customers doing this on ubereats I don’t want to deal with the same on this app because it’s seriously hurting my earnings this is a serious problem that needs to get resolved as soon as possible

This app is HORRIBLE

1) Cornershop keeps sending notifications to log on for high $$ order. You log on to same $12 order sent 3-4 times. Log out… start all over again 2) when customer does not rate you Cornershop give you a 1star ⭐️ lowering your average to garbage 3) Cornershop keeps customers waiting all day so when they FINALLY SEND you the order … customers cancel after driving across the city in rush hour. 4) concept started out good but in practice it’s HORRIBLE 5) can’t make money no matter how good service you give 6) bait and switch offering great orders giving low $$$ 7) must provide prices to this app which is time consuming 8) pack you’re own bags which can be good or bad 9) no idea where customer going 10) only Safeway and Albertsons 👎👎 11) when Cornershop sends double orders or triple or ALWAYS lies about how much $$ you will make lower is what you receive 12) on double/triple they don’t tell customers and blind addresses. 1st customer gets screwed 13) on double/ triples: Can not see all items simultaneously. So impossible to shop for orders at one time. On closing: Cornershop S****S!

Terrible onboarding experience.

Onboarding experience was really poor for me. I signed up, got confirmation that I would receive bags, cards, etc and waited about a month. I finally reached out to support and told them I’d not received anything. They said they would send me the stuff and a few days later I got two shoppers cards, no bags etc. By the time I got the cards, the $125 bonus promo for my first 5 orders was expired. I have yet to use Cornershop because I missed the promo (which was a great incentive to try it) and it’s unclear how Cornershop even works. The last time I logged in, they assigned an order to me super far away and I had to abandon it because I didn’t know that it was going to assign orders as soon as I logged in and I wasn’t prepared to start working that day. I don’t have an opinion on how good or bad this app is but the onboarding and lack of clarity in Cornershop and around how it works and receiving materials has left me a bit soured. Instacart always has orders in my area and I get to choose them at places that aren’t 10 miles away. I’d love to try this app but the current experience is not the way.

Honestly

So Uber buys out postmates and comes up with this solution of this app. The one thing I absolutely hate is that you didn’t follow their model. I need to be able to cash out anytime and the fact that y’all make ppl wait on their money is insane it’s like a regular job. Like I’m excited to get paid for these orders but sometimes I need my cash right away. I rarely get on because of that. Any other platform and Uber eats you can cash out daily at least once. I think once you implement that you guys will be alright. Also the time it takes to contact the customer and the waiting time is ridiculous the customer should already be able to put in their substitution before hand, it’s just a lot of extra here

Eh, love the $ hate the micro management

I feel that this is almost a job for an employer not just gig work for the self employed. You have to answer to an SOM and alot of them do not have the right ppl skills to work with ppl who consider themselves their own boss. Also theres not enough orders to go around. Needs to slow the signon rate for new shoppers or mass advertise to get more customers. I keep getting the refer a friend links but why would i refer a friend when i am on and active my whole day(i drive uber eats all over town) and might get 1 offer in the day. I cant afford to sit in one location waiting for a maybe when im used to drive to this area and its just about guaranteed.

I make about 1000$ a week!

I live in Cali and honestly it’s a great app! I literally make pretty good income and don’t have to drive too far! Way better pay than Instacart and SHIPD. I’ve done them all! And the support people are always super nice. I do however wish it gave the option to see items when accepting the batch! I also would like to see my earnings in a more exciting way! Also when delivering groceries I wish it was easier to submit picture instead of going to chat and the picture. I also wish Cornershop told you WHY the customer rates you 2 or 3 stars. It just shows bad rating and customer doesn’t give reason on how to improve.

New update is a mess

Im so upset just when i thought this app was improving they come out with the most misleading update ever how is it that they send you an order of $35 and ends up being $21 fifty pounds and 40 products i dont understand…i would have never taken this order had i known i was only going to get paid $21 i liked it just the way it was before for example if the order was $25 that’s exactly what i would get if all items were in stock and this was not including the tip…i feel like with this new update us drivers wont be making as much its a total mess now i have no idea how much i have actually made please fix this because you will have a lot of shoppers complaining about this same issue

Insight

Since this platform is ran with UberEats, the design of Cornershop should be the same. Instead of having to go sit at a store and wait until an order May or may not come in, you should be able to accept orders as they are come in. I also do instacart and it shows the “hotspots” as well as shows ALL available batches no matter if their 2 miles or 12 miles away. If you accept the batch you get it.

Don’t get me wrong the money is good but I would rather just not have to drive all the way to a store just so that I can get online.

Just some insight to help waste less time.

Good Idea, poor for self employed

SOMS can be very rude! Not understanding we don’t “WORK” for this app. Without us there would be no them. Also there aren’t enough orders and I feel like they’re going to over saturated Phoenix with tons of drivers with not enough work.

I see no advertising for new business, and get treated like an employee. If I wanted to be micromanaged I’d work a 9-5. Also the customers don’t look at Cornershop ! When sending replacements you wait forever and you picking rate goes down. That should be done away with completely.

Another thing is the fact that there aren’t any aisle locations on the orders! Safeway and Albertsons in my area are setup with NO COMMON SENSE! So it literally takes forever to find anything without knowing where to look.

There’s also issues with products not being in the system so we manually type everything in, or offering products in Cornershop that aren’t sold at the store at all.

This could really be great just stop treating us like we work for you, stop accepting new drivers until there are enough orders to support that. And update Cornershop !

Almost perfect

I really enjoy taking this app orders and they pay better then the other services do. I know some people in the reviews are frustrated by the SOM’s but I have only found them helpful and quick to respond which is problematic a lot of the time in some of the other services. I really like the new addition of us being able to take pictures to send to the customer. There are a few things I would love to see upgraded.
1st a map of the general area we will need to deliver to.
2nd a visual of what the order consist of because sometimes people live upstairs and 5 cases of water can take a lot out of you. Itwould just be great to know what you are going into.
3rd expansion to other stores and more advertising. I am not sure why but I have only ever seen Safeway orders on here and when I tell people I shop for this app they have never heard about it. Advertise for more customer! :)

Needs improvement.

I feel Cornershop itself is outdated. It was as it was throw together quickly. Why do I have to input the price of each item? I agree with others as it’s a lot of steps. The bags are kind of dumb , cool in cities that have bag bans, however my area does not. Why are their 2 pay cards?
I would like more order detail. Items, address, ect. Cornershop is not shopper user friendly. This is my first time partnering with an Uber co. I expected more. If Cornershop continues to improve I would love to do more shops on their platform.

Perfect for me

Cornershop is truly perfect. I believe you get paid fairly and if there were more orders on the regular it would be ideal for not only myself but a lot of others. Customers leave reviews and ratings on your performance so it’s fair game. I would like it more if the comments that were left by the customer stayed on your profile though. The only drawback may be that sometimes when you get an order it doesn’t make a sound but outside of that it’s perfect to me.

App needs improvement

1. Cornershop doesn’t show replacement options for customers. It’s good when you have alternatives selected by customer, or if the shopper suggests any alternatives, the same time the customer sent a message to refund.
2. The picture of items extremely small.
3. When drop off the item, it’s good if the shopper takes a photo where he left the items like other apps.
4. Shopper needs to know area to drop off before select the order.
5. Payment summary by day.

Black out screen

Why you guys have Cornershop running when it glitches inbetween times when your on Cornershop you get a black screen and you have to reset Cornershop and they say demand is high but yet it’s isn’t sending out any orders but I’m on the this app job backup plan well let’s try it out haven’t had any orders sent to meStill a little problem with Cornershop or your guises team that’s doing the marketing the analyzing the fixing the Internet connections project manager

The negative reviews seem unjustified

I’ve come to like this app as a company. The people who run it are positive and upbeat. They always offer me good support when I need it. This job has been a great side hustle for me and has helped pay my bills and then some. I find Cornershop appealing and easy to use. I much prefer this app to Instacart at this point. Cornershop is better and so is the pay. No complaints.

Disgraceful that this is part of Uber

I think they just need to shut down. They are not ready to compete with other gigs out there. You only get 1 or 2 orders a day and sometimes zero order. The annoying part is your app is on and you’ll keep getting alerts that you should open up your app or you’ll be automatically shut down. The message will keep coming in until it shuts your app off itself. They don’t have orders for drivers they have on ground yet they are asking for referrals. I don’t know what they are coming to do than to make them miserable.

My opinion is for Cornershop:
In the beginning that was good u can get more than 10 offers a day but now I don’t really understand nothing u can start 8am to 4 pm and get only one offer and we was to turn around sometime to get the offer we have to paid a gas , bill …..
Cornershop need to get more customers and the price need to review too because sometimes the price what they put to products is different for the price in the store

Could be the best... But

Needs lots of improvement. First: we have to be able to see the delivery address on a map before accept the order. Some areas are dangerous or too far. We need to be able to see the items to shop before accept the order.. Some people can't do heavy itens. And we need to be able to see the tip before starts the batch. If the customer don't tip my service why i would work for him? Please learn from instacart (is a horrible company compared to uber) but Cornershop at least is better.

Only Safeway Stores in my area!!

Only reason I haven’t switched from all six gig platforms that I drive for or shop for is because here in this area Boulder County it’s only Safeway stores no Costco no sprouts farmers market no natural grocers all the stores that I enjoy shopping at…. Safeway is a very low class clientele for the most part and not very fun to shop at so once you get into other stores in the area I will most certainly shop with this app..

Why does the app have to be open on top?

I will sit there for hours waiting on an order. But everytime I minus Cornershop and go to a different app, I get a notification saying to open Cornershop to maximize your chances on getting an order. It’s like I’m not allowed to do anything during the hours of wait time for finally getting an order. Really dumb feature, needs to go

Not intuitive at all

Overall Cornershop do its purpose, but you need to do so many unnecessary steps for do a simple task that doesn’t make sense, and the biggest issue is that you can’t scan the barcodes of the products and add it to your shopping list in a simple way . You guys need to do a more friendly and easy to use app is simple obsolete what you have so far.

Terminated without a valid explanation.

I gave all my personal information and waited patiently for approximately two weeks for my bags and cards to be delivered. I was excited and ready to deliver, however a couple hours after receiving my bag and card, I received an email saying that I was terminated with no valid explanation. This company is unprofessional, inconsiderate and full of lies.

The distance is deceptive. The distance is almost always further than it shows initially. This is a real problem and I can’t understand why they haven’t fixed it. No other platform has this problem, that I’m aware of.

New to the platform every assignment I’ve accepted there has been an issue and the SOMs proactively reassigned batches without even giving you an explanation it’s the most frustrating thing I haven’t even been able to use the app
