I worked for this app and now that they transferred to Uber nobody knows what happened to my account. By state law they have to pay me my sick pay days and nobody is helping.

Hello, I am consistently unable to login to my account. I cannot access the account on a web browser but I login via app with no issue. Furthermore, I am unable to activate the cards ive received in the mail so that I can begin shopping.
After finally being approved to shop for them (the background check took about a month for some reason), I stopped for them for a few weeks with no issues and then one day couldn't log in anymore. I emailed them and was told they sent my message to the appropriate department and would get back to me. Never heard back so I submitted my info to shop again and got a message that they would not be proceeding with my application and due to internal policies couldn't give me more information. Just now I finally got a response to my original email and they say it is due to my background, but don't specify why. Nothing has changed since I did the background check. Somehow it took a month to get my background and I was approved and then after working for them, a month later they fire me for my background?! Seems pretty shady and completely unprofessional! This company is a joke!

The same thing happened to me. They "trained" me with a few videos that had nothing to do with what actually occurs when you get an assignment to shop for a customer. I was so confused and had never heard of most of the things that were required of me throughout the whole experience, there were so many steps NEVER mentioned beforehand that occurred, I was so lost and I was freaking out the whole time, because I did not know what was going on, and it was horrifying. When I was FINALLY through with my ONE order in 6 hours of driving around and having to get gas twice to try to get orders, I get home and I get an email saying I would not be shopping for them any more due to non-compliance with customer satisfaction and service standards, and would no longer be receiving orders to my account. When I tried to sign back in to the Cornershop App it told me in Spanish I was no longer allowed to even sign in to the App at all. I sent them a nasty email, and told them (which I will be doing BTW), that I will be going as high as I need to in the company, because of how unprofessional and unfairly I was treated, and they cannot keep getting away with what seems like doing this to multiple people. I am beyond enraged before receiving the email I was fired after driving around for almost 7 hours and getting a $25 order, with no prior knowledge of the actual process and everything it entailed. I turned other jobs down for this job. I waited for all of their products to arrive (which took forever), I asked a bunch of questions through email about pay and got replies back that made me even more confused than I was to start with, and was given information that was not even real or applicable on their "APP." Nothing about this company made or makes any sense, they should not be allowed to do what they do, and get away with it, and they won't be with me. If you are thinking about possibly working for this company DOOOOO NOTTTTT!!!! I am warning you! It has been the worst job experience I have ever had by far! They never even told me specifically what it is I did wrong...at least that way, I could have known. But, they were so vague, and rude and only gave me ONE chance. ONE. I will take this to court if I have to. Unreal.

I’m frustrated with the new update it’s confusing and misleading I feel like my earnings have declined since then and now when I take an order I don’t know whether it’s a good one or not after every completed delivery I’m not being paid what’s shown I liked the older version where drivers were sent a total amount and tips later after 6hours it’s not worth your gas if you are not guaranteed that you will get paid the full amount it’s not fair to drivers who have to drive far and then end up with $5+ less than what was suppose to be paid I don’t like this new update at all Cornershop please take this supposedly estimated “tip included” because it’s a whole mess and I can’t figure out how much I’m making especially when you have customers who remove the tips at the end or don’t tip at all it’s not worth my time or money I do uberats and I feel like Cornershop is trying to run the platform just like ubereats where customer is allowed to remove the tips I already have to deal with customers doing this on ubereats I don’t want to deal with the same on Cornershop because it’s seriously hurting my earnings this is a serious problem that needs to get resolved as soon as possible

Onboarding experience was really poor for me. I signed up, got confirmation that I would receive bags, cards, etc and waited about a month. I finally reached out to support and told them I’d not received anything. They said they would send me the stuff and a few days later I got two shoppers cards, no bags etc. By the time I got the cards, the $125 bonus promo for my first 5 orders was expired. I have yet to use the app because I missed the promo (which was a great incentive to try it) and it’s unclear how the app even works. The last time I logged in, they assigned an order to me super far away and I had to abandon it because I didn’t know that it was going to assign orders as soon as I logged in and I wasn’t prepared to start working that day. I don’t have an opinion on how good or bad Cornershop is but the onboarding and lack of clarity in the app and around how it works and receiving materials has left me a bit soured. Instacart always has orders in my area and I get to choose them at places that aren’t 10 miles away. I’d love to try Cornershop but the current experience is not the way.

SOMS can be very rude! Not understanding we don’t “WORK” for Cornershop. Without us there would be no them. Also there aren’t enough orders and I feel like they’re going to over saturated Phoenix with tons of drivers with not enough work.
I see no advertising for new business, and get treated like an employee. If I wanted to be micromanaged I’d work a 9-5. Also the customers don’t look at the app! When sending replacements you wait forever and you picking rate goes down. That should be done away with completely.
Another thing is the fact that there aren’t any aisle locations on the orders! Safeway and Albertsons in my area are setup with NO COMMON SENSE! So it literally takes forever to find anything without knowing where to look.
There’s also issues with products not being in the system so we manually type everything in, or offering products in the app that aren’t sold at the store at all.
This could really be great just stop treating us like we work for you, stop accepting new drivers until there are enough orders to support that. And update the app!
