This is one of the least user-friendly apps I’ve ever encountered. So not intuitive. I think the previous version was much better. I have just one plug/extension device. Try figuring out how to set a schedule or dim, etc. Menu options at bottom of app are vague. “My family” lists my one device... Show more with only the ability to turn it off/on. You should be able to set a schedule from this window. Finally figured out that “Smart” is where you go thru process to refine your device- and still not very easily. Just tried. Didn’t work. “Mail” just looks like an ad and marketing window. C’mon people, you can do better!

App works perfectly with the dimmer switches but needs improvement when it comes to the LED Strip Lights. You get every color except white. I need white along with the other colors. Show more ointing since their website clearly shows an app display indicating a full circle of color options including white. TreatLife they actually provide gives you only half the color wheel making white impossible. So what is advertised is not what they delivered. When you order based on their website but deliver something else I call that false advertising or bait and switch. If you want a light strip that includes white, go elsewhere.

The latest update removes the ability to see the device status at a glance. You have to go into each device to see if it is on/off or in the case of fans, the fan speed.

Love my switches and being able to control them via app or Alexa but this update is a big let down. It may look nice but functionality wise but that doesn’t help if basic functions aren’t there.

How did TreatLife get worse? I already thought they had limited options before and now I can’t even work on the tap-to-run options… which ahould be called group control… it’s pretty bad now they won’t even let you edit individual items to the tap-to-run…. First, it’s amazing we live in a time where we can have these bulbs for a relatively inexpensive price with various colors and an app that controls it all.

That said... it’s very convoluted process to save profiles that affect all bulbs instead of constantly having to alter one by one. The f... Show more act that you can’t save tap or automation profiles that change the colors for all bulbs is bizarre and a huge let down.

For example, let’s say during the day you want one hue, at night a different for all bulbs. No can do - you can only change the temp and brightness. To change color of bulbs you have to do one by one every time. Which also means that if you do change the colors of the bulbs, any tap or automated profiles you have saved have suddenly lost any color information because those only affect temp and brightness. Truly bizarre.

On top of that, the list of bulbs don’t seem to always have correct information on the current state of the bulb. Two with the exact same settings will have different info listed in the My Family list (for example, one may say color temp of 4 and the other 30 when they’re actually exactly the same currently).

Making this all easier and including a way to change the colors simultaneously would make this much more usable.

Also, much less important, but why no HomeKit integration?

TreatLife works well but I wish they had a few additions to make using their devices easier. I have the light bulbs, and for one I wish there was a sink feature so I could control all four bulbs at once. They sort of have that with tap to run and automations but it doesn’t fully work. Currently, to set all the bulbs the same color or scene I have to do it one by one. I wish I could just sink it to change all at once when I change one of the bulbs. Similarly, the music feature only works with one bulb at a time. It would be great if I could sink all the bulbs to the music at the same time, that way I could use all my lights for the music sync instead of just one. Lastly, the color wheel is a great feature, but I wish I could save individual colors. It’s hard to get the exact shade perfect, but if I could save favorite colors to reuse with a click of a button that would be amazing. Realistically, I give TreatLife 3.5/5 stars, but with a few tweaks it could be amazing.

I really liked these plugs at first. They are easy to use and navigate. However, lately I’m having some difficulty with these products turning themselves off. I’m not sure why, they never turn themselves on, but about 50% of the time after I turn them on, within the hour they will turn off. Anyone ... Show more else out there have this problem? The product I got works great and I have had no trouble with it at all past figuring out the installation. TreatLife also works well though I wish there was an optional “dark mode” I could select. I purchased and installed a fan control and a light dimmer. They are easy to install and TreatLife easy to set up. Both 5 star except lacks apple Home and Siri support. The addition of a remote would be a plus. Would make a three way switch sooo easy then, even when there was no second switch.

this app products really went beyond my expectations. They are smaller and much more reliable than the previous brands of smart plug I purchased. I like this product a lot ‘cause I don’t have to reach for the plug to set the schedule. Turning it on and off at anytime is very convenient. But, there have been several times where the unit(s) would go offline and I would have to re-add it. I don’t know why they do that. Even though they do go of... It is the same app licensed from smart life I assume, just download the original. It will have all the features and compatibility with this app and more…
As an example, support for non this app devices is a bit of a hack with this one, smart rules don’t allow location based timing (sunrise/sun... Show more set), etc.
overall it is a good app, but it is partial compared to smart life.

I would LOVE to see more control over scenes. Being able to change colors of all my bulbs at once, or just the scenes at the touch of a button. Especially being able to integrate a scene with an action like time zones would be awesome. PLEASE add more options like this and not just me but everyone ... No complaints. I use these for my Leopard Gecko enclosure heat source. It’s easy to use and works great, even with our craptastic internet! If the light isn’t dimmable, then it flickers, but that isn’t this products fault! So much cheaper than the temperature dimmers, I just monitor my temperatures... Show more carefully.

I love the interface! At first, I panicked and wasn’t sure how to rename the switches, but eventually I found two methods. You can of course delete the switch and re-add it, but the best way is to click on the switch and then you can go to its individual properties.

Forget the overpriced Sylvania equivalent. These "off brand" bulbs are every bit as good--at a far lesser price. Simple set up. My Smart Home is Hubitat based. I was unable to find a reasonably price outdoor timer/dimmer in either ZigBee or Z-Wave for our soffit lights. Found this device while looking for an alternative. Bought one a month ago, liked it so much that I bought another for our gazebo lights.

I love the ability to control my stuff remotely. There are some things that could improve this experience, such as, being able to group devices together to control and adjust as a group would be over the top. No notification when switch turns off?

Directions to connect to Alexa are God Awful. App sets log in as password. Alexa only uses phone number can’t put phone number into app. I have other plugs I’ve connected all over the house this one is a big fail.

Does not work with Alexa. Major issues. I gave up after wasting 2 days. Went to a different manufacturer.

When setting countdown hours and minutes, TreatLife saves as minutes and seconds respectively. So the longest countdown is capped at 24min. Please fix this.

They piggy back off Smart Life's servers and you can't link both to Google Home. I have more devices on Smart Life so I left that integrated directly with Google and had to use IFTTT for Treat Life devices.

We just love this product for our patio lights and we bought a second one for your Christmas lights. The timer & dimmer work awesome.

It works great for both our applications. We highly recommend this product. This product really went above my expectations!

Works fine with compatible dimmable string lights. Was able to add two strings of lights with this app smart plug in dimmer and control the lights from any phone in the house with TreatLife installed. Easy setup of app and lights. Dims down to around 11% with a little glow.

I am able to reprogram and operates my home device from the other side of the world with zero difficulty.

Your app is great and has awesome capabilities, but I think it would be awesome to be able to control my house using my Apple Watch.

Very easy to operate and control the light switches.

TreatLife works great with the Smart Dimmer Plug, which we have connected to outdoor string lights. I can dim the lights and turn them off/on with a smartphone. The timers work perfectly, turning the lights on, changing the brightness, and turning the lights off at preset times.

Have really enjoyed TreatLife with Amazon dot.

Horrible.. i put these bulbs all over my apt. They only work half the time lol. I ready what one of the customer service said be patient.. I'm be patient while I'm returning 25 light bulbs for something else.. don't but
