I have measured my void volumes using a container and I rarely void more than 300ml. Proud P shows my volumes in the 320ml to 400 ml range consistently. I don’t think this is correct and consequently I feel my flow rate may be overly optimistic. Is there a solution? I have tried to different iPhones and get the same results. Update - I used proudp in a different bathroom in my house. Instead of getting a max flow rate of around 20 which all the other readings had been, I got 14ml/s max flow. Volume seemed low too. I am starting to wonder if this app is a random number generator. How can it compensate without calibration to different toilet shapes, different amounts of water in the bowl, and different acoustics in the room? I also tried pouring a known amount of water into the toilet while using proudp and the voided volume is way off.

Initially after installing the app, I got multiple pop ups while attempting to use the app telling me my iPhone 12 was not a compatible / supported device and my results might not be accurate . I could click through that and still measure/ record. Eventually that pop up went away but a problem I still have is that the app almost always fails to record / measure the first void of the day; it always delivers the “oops, something went wrong message”.

I wanted to track and understand my urination frequency as I felt it was too much. Also, I wanted to have real data of mine to share with my urologist. This app helped me to do the job as best as it could. Nonetheless, I have some suggestions for improvement. It would be great if there is a way to see how bad or good my flow is compared to the healthy people. It will allow me to picture where I stand. Also, it could be much easier if this app can provide the interval between my bathroom trips. Without that sort of feature, I have to eyeball how soon or how long it takes to go for another recording. Lastly, I’d like to share this results with my doctor, and to do that I have to capture the individual screen. Would be much appreciated if there’s export to pdf/excel or a report to my doctor kind of feature.
Overall, I like this app and it is a great app. I do highly recommend trying this app to people having concerns on prostate health.
