This app just leaves me with an icky feeling. After interacting with it for six months, I’m weirded out by the target audience (clearly young girls) and the amount of sexual information being thrown at them - topics and techniques that I feel are inappropriate at that young of an age. I’m all for the empowerment of women and their bodies, but you connect with a wide and diverse community but you don’t know the ages of the other women and on many topics, these age groups would not normally be conversing. It’s just too much.
Logging itself is comical and young girl oriented. Even though I turned off notifications and “unjoined” as many groups as possible, sexual deviations and questions are constantly being thrown in my face. And the daily ads of “join flow for free - huge discounted rate” mixed with the power to unlock more sexual tips and arrivals.... yuck yuck yuck. Are the 12 and 13 year olds using this app getting the same crap??? Are they reading the stories of one night stands, first lesbian experiences, and cheating on their best friend’s man? Why in the world are we exposing our kids to this stuff??
So I gave it a good try, but on moral grounds I am deleting all my info and moving in elsewhere. Don’t even get me started about security breeches and what they actually do with all the info you give them... just do a google search and find the it for yourself!

I joined so I could track my periods, ovulation, and eventual pregnancy. Initially I thought the community was a great addition, where I could speak to other women for support and have good conversation. But it quickly turned into a nasty experience. Majority of the conversations turned political, even when the topic had nothing to do with politics. The mass majority were 99% liberal extremist views, and a witch hunt to attack any of the remaining 1% conservative views. Especially if you’re a Christian. Majority of the women were nasty, rude, threatening, and condescending. The “report” feature and “mute/block” feature are completely ineffective, as the admin never responded or removed any of the terribly mean and disgusting content. Basically it’s just an app for bullies to fester and feed their egos. I’ve been trying for days to delete my account because I’m consistently being attacked by users, but my account is still there. I’ve been emailing admin about it for days and there’s been zero response. Let’s not even mention the slew of underage children posting photos of their vagina and discharge and asking how they can get pregnant to trap their boyfriends! This app is dangerous and legit has illegal underage activity and nudes. DO NOT get this app!!

I like that I’m able to keep track of my periods and view them on calendars. It helps knowing when my period’s coming so I can plan trips around it. I like the daily logs, but after you do a log, there are notifications trying to pep you up and give you scientific information and they never have anything to do with what you logged. i.e. I might log that I’m sad because of work and the notification will say I’m happy because of my relationship. I tried notifying the developer of this issue using the in-app feature, but I can’t report it because I don’t pay for any of the gems. Other than the developer not being open to feedback, the app serves its purpose for tracking period systems and cycles.
Edit: The developer added a link through the app store to provide feedback which was a step in the right direction until I completed the form and wasn’t able to submit it to them. There are gems that repeat information from week to week, some of the quizzes don’t provide factual information, and Bedsider asks questions for you to ponder then doesn’t provide you with the answer. Just keep the app for tracking periods because the rest of the app is useless and you still can’t submit feedback.
